About: My aunts and friends have always had dogs, so growing up I had a lot of experience with a wide variety of animals. I’ve helped my aunt train her excited Chocolate Lab puppy, taken care of my friend’s barky, 11 pound Mini Pinscher while they were away, and helped feed, walk, and play with my own household’s anxious, raw diet mut, Sheila. I know how to love and take care of any type of dog—from loudly outgoing to shy! I just finished my sophomore year of college and am looking to help care for anyone’s pets this summer. My schedule is open, so I am flexible to visit your pet whenever you need! I will gladly take your dog on a nice long walk and play with them around your backyard to release any pent up energy! Inside, I’m also up for playing with toys and giving lots of pets!

About: I've taken care of animals my whole life, and have owned dogs and cats for the past 30 years. I can administer medications, and have experience with senior dogs and cats. I have flexibility in my hours and can do overnight or drop in visits. I am recently retired, I have a very flexible schedule and can work with you on the times that best work for you and your pets. About: Hi! I'm Nicolas. I am home full-time, which allows me to spend plenty of time with the dogs and cats I care for. We live in a large two-story house in South Burlington with a big yard where dogs can run and play safely. Please note that since I have a 20-month-old son, any dog staying with us must be completely comfortable and safe around young children. As a stay-at-home dad, I am at the house full-time, making it incredibly easy to fit dedicated pet care into my daily routine. I offer specialized services tailored to your pets' needs, including both cat and dog boarding at my home, where your furry friends will enjoy constant company and plenty of attention throughout the day. I also offer dog walking and 30 to 60-minute home visits at your location. Whether it's strictly following feeding and medication schedules, managing frequent potty breaks, or taking your dog out for a great walk to break up their day, you can rest assured your companions will receive premium care while staying completely on their regular routine. In my home: Your pets will have plenty of room to comfortable and safe in our large two-story house. Since I am home full-time, I provide constant supervision and companionship throughout the day. I ensure a safe, organized environment for both visiting dogs and cats, strictly following their regular feeding, potty, litter, and medication schedules so they feel right at home. At your home: I follow your exact instructions to respect your pet's routine, whether I am dropping by for a 30 to 60-minute visit or taking your dog out for a walk. I make sure your home stays secure, doors are locked, and your pet gets their regular feeding, fresh water, and potty breaks exactly as they do when you are there.

About: In the last decade+ I've taken care of half a dozen dogs and nearly a dozen cats for friends and through word-of-mouth, including a very senior chihuahua who was blind and deaf and needed diapers changed. I always had cats and dogs around growing up, including two difficult dogs from shelters who had issues. I live with an energetic pit-lab mix, and my parents' three rescue cats are still my sweeties. In the past I volunteered at an animal shelter, helping to socialize cats and walk dogs. I hike every day if I can, so if your dog enjoys vigorous exercise on trails, I can provide that too! I'm an adjunct college professor and freelance writer, so my work is part-time or sporadic, with much of it being done at home. If I'm available, I'll have plenty of time to linger and give attention to your pets! I'll follow your lead on what situations you're comfortable with for your pet, in terms of where I bring your dog for a walk, how they interact with other animals and people, etc.

About: I have actively been taking care of dogs since I was a teenager, and in doing so I have worked with a variety of breeds, sizes, and dog of different ages. My manner of minding focuses on building a connection with the dog while uniquely understanding the breed and the specific needs they may need met. I'm very active and thus great with dogs who are looking to get in shape or have high energy levels. I have experience working with dogs who have been abused or neglected and re-socialising them. My home is large enough for multiple dogs of many sizes to be comfortable in as well as a short walk away from multiple parks. Both mornings as well nights are currently available Monday-Sunday.

I am patient and understanding to all pets personalities and ages. I am currently working 3 days a week on a specialty service at a veterinary hospital. Back yard fence in play is great but leash walks are also great!

About: My family has had dogs since I was 14. Out first dog was a German Shepard and second a German Shepard/Husky mix. Currently my Sheppard Husky mix resides in North Carolina staying with my mother as we were worried how he would do with a big move. I have always loved dogs and their companionship. It would be a privilege to take care of another’s fur baby. I currently have the sweetest little dachshound that I rescued in September of 2024 and we have been inseparable ever since, he is truly my child. I take my dog Beanie on longer walks about 2x a day and shorter ones through the day. I am mostly available on Fridays and weekends and after 5pm on Monday - Thursday My yard is not fenced in but there are many dog parks and safe places to play in my neighborhood. I love taking long walks and they are even better with a fiery companion.

Each hike ranges from 2-5 miles, so your dog comes home truly satisfied and pleasantly tired— not just a little restless and ready for more. Give your dog the adventure they’ve been waiting for! I am available Monday through Friday between 3pm and 6pm for walks as well as Saturday and Sundays for boarding or walks throughout the day. I have three dogs that love to play with other dogs and exploring the many different mountains here in Vermont. I grew up always having at least six dogs among many other animals so adding more dogs to the pack for the day or weekend isn’t that big a deal. I just want to be able to give someone else’s dog a fun time because all dogs deserve to run around sniffling whatever their hearts desire. Most importantly if your dog is going to board in our home, they MUST be house trained. i know it can be hard to get out during the week for working pawrents. While I don't have a fenced yard your pets will be safe. I make sure to leash any dog before opening the door. I also make sure to take any dog in my care to a safe place where they are able to get the exercise they need.if they are not recall trained dogs will be kept on leashes long enough to still run and play safely!

About: I’ve been taking care of various animals since I turned 13. I’ve been trusted to walk multiple dogs at one time, care for senior cats and administer medicine to special needs animals. I have a big love for all animals and make sure to give every pet the love they deserve. I’m heading into my junior year at the University of Vermont studying wildlife/fisheries biology and animal science. I’m living downtown but I have a car and am excited to give some love to your pets!! Im working part time and am very flexible when it comes to providing love to your furry friends! About: Hi my name is Lily and I am an avid animal lover! I am an experienced professional dog walker and pet sitter. I have worked professionally for a local dog walking and pet sitting company in my hometown of Richmond, Virginia and this was easily my favorite job ever! I love the canine companionship and have been a dog owner and care giver since I was very young. I have grown up around dogs (very big and very small) and always loved helping my family raise our dogs throughout childhood and into raising my own cat and dogs for the past 20+ years. I have a small chihuahua named Lola who I rescued from the Richmond VA SPCA 11 years ago. She's very sweet and loves play dates with other dogs but never minds hanging back at home with the rest of her pack. She enjoys shorter walks in her senior years and can often be found soaking up the sun and recharging in the backyard in the warmer months. For six years Lola had a close chi companion named Paco who I rescued from Tennessee in 2020 who is unfortunately no longer with us. He sadly lost his battle with congestive heart failure in January 2026 and Lola and I miss him so much everyday. In Paco's early rescue months it took a lot of time and compassion for him to open up into the sweet boy he was. He lived a very happy and fulfilled life until the end. Helping him blossom into the best, most perfect chi, was easily one of the most rewarding experiences of my life. Lola and I have settled in South Burlington, Vermont and despite the cold winter months, we love our new home! In addition to being a professional dog walker and pet sitter with Barksley back in Virginia, I have also provided pet care for my friends and families fur babies for many years now. I am naturally an active person and love going on long walks in the neighborhood or just hanging out in the yard playing fetch. Do you love the dog park? I do too! I have great doggie transportation with ample room in the back of my Subaru Forester for your pup to relax in if the adventure takes us on the road. Your pet will be sure to be in the best hands with me on any adventure we go on and I look forward to playing fetch with them in the future! As a long time dog owner Iv always kept a daily routine based around caring for my pets. That usually means early mornings letting the pups out and feeding them before getting the day started. We always go on our daily dog walk and on the weekends my pups love an adventure outdoors. I have a Petcube camera and baby gates that keep my pups safe while I’m away. We allow our pets on the furniture and love snuggling up to them. They also have many beds available for snuggling if they want as well. We keep fresh water available in multiple spots throughout the house. When I’m dog sitting or boarding I make sure to ask the owner what their pet prefers in terms of a bed or crate. I also make sure to get any information on feeding and potty breaks, or any other funny quirks I would need to know about your fur baby! While boarding dogs, I make sure to check in on the pet cube camera if i ever need to spend any amount of time away.
