She ended up getting her work schedule moved around to make it work, which we really appreciated, but she was not able to stay the full 30 minutes at that time. About: I've had dogs since I was born, have worked in shelters and keep raising my own puppy dog. I give dogs multiple walks and play with them. If necessary I take them hiking, play fetch outdoor and give them lots of love an attention. I will make your dog feel like family and help with any training that you're working on. I work from home Monday through Friday so I am there 24/7 to support and hang out with your pet. We usually do at least a morning walk, lunch quick outing and afternoon longer walk. About: I've had pets my entire life. For over 40 years, I've raised puppies and kitties into well-behaved, loved members of my family. I have some experience giving medicine and training. I work from home 4 days of the work week and even on the day that I’m away, pets are never left alone for more than 5-6 hours a day, which is rare at that. I walk our dog daily and there is plenty of time to go out and play in a fenced yard multiples times during the day. As mentioned above, we lets our dogs get plenty of fresh air and exercise and they are rarely alone for long stretches at a time. If I'm taking care of a pet in their own home, those pets can get walks and regular visits based on their needs.
About: I grew up with many animals, both my own pets, and animals on my grandfather's dairy farm (he was also a vet). I live in the country in Richmond, and have cats, young kids and animals Rover won't let me name in the description...but they provide eggs. We have dogs in our "extended family" and we are well accustomed to dogs but we do not have one ourselves at this time. If your dog is 100% safe with those people and pets and well-behaved, let's talk! Independently insured. We enjoy hosting dogs, and are home most days of the week for most of the day. We enjoy walking with dogs and playing fetch (if dogs like to do that) on our hill in our yard. We would need to do a meet & greet to make sure it is a good match. Our yard is not fenced, and we are on a dirt road in the country with woods on the property and surrounding it, so dogs should not be prone to bolting etc. They must be 100% safe with young kids, cats and free range egg producers. No aggressive or reactive dogs please.

About: I have a great amount of experience with animals. I have cared for Bunnies,Rats, Birds, Reptiles, Cats and dogs as well. I’m familiar with treating senior dogs and cats. As well as younger animals. I’ve had animals my entire life. Starting May 15th. I will have a flexible availability. I would fit pet sitting into my daily/ weekly routine but ensuring all animals are fed and have water. I will give them some play time. If walks are needed I will ensure I arrive earlier to give any dogs walks. I have two cats. Athena and Vixen Both girls are on a strict routine. They get fed wet food twice a day and dry food once. Their wet food includes multivitamins, probiotics and allergy medications. Both cats have separate diets that best suit their needs. I ensure all things for them are done before starting my day. e.i Litterboxes, water refills, medications, food and play time. Upon arriving home I greet them and play for about 30min-1hr.

“Had a great experience booking daily walks for three days with Jenna. Had to book super last minute and she was kind enough to accept and be flexible with us. She provided a rover card for each walk showing how far and long they walked as well as if my dog pooped 1-2x which was rlly helpful for me. jenna also went the extra mile of feeding him and making sure he ate after his walks while also keeping him company for a good amount of time afterwards too. All of which was rlly appreciated, well communicated, and shows how much she cares! I also received a daily picture which I looked forward to everyday :) not many dog walkers would do all of this but she did. Also, it was rlly important that my dog goes on a 30 min walk once every 24 h or else he won’t eat and starts throwing up from starving himself and she responsibly did show up within the asked/ flexible time frame:) Would book another walk with her in the future”

I’ve taken care of dogs since I was a kid, and now have an adult rescue dog who I have completed successful dog training with for reactivity, anxiety, recall -including ecollar work. I have cared for friends dogs, and followed all of their routines. I can administer meds, go on runs, take them to the dog park, or fulfill any need/quirk. I am excited to hear all about their personalities and continue whatever training or routine that you have got going on for them. I treat dogs like they are children to be cared for! I work in healthcare, but I’m often available for midday walks during the week. Some nights of the week I can do a walk. I am intermittently available for either one or two weekend days/nights that welcome other dogs into my home to stay, potentially the whole week! Let’s have a meet and greet with my friendly guy first. I take dogs on walks in a quiet neighborhood and within 5 minutes I can run to an off dog park that is usually quite empty.

He also sent me some photos during the day so I knew that she was living her best life. She hesitated when it was time to get in the car and leave. I was visiting VT from NC for an ailing family member and I am so grateful that John squeezed Keelie in to his "pack" at the very last minute and even allowed us to come over the night before for a meet & greet. Weather your visiting the area and don't want to leave your pet(s) alone at your hotel or local to the area, you would be hard-pressed to find a better caregiver :)”

“JD and his family took excellent care of my two dogs, Dot and Tot. They were caring, meticulous about schedules, and communicative to me throughout the weekend. Their house is located next to a large park with a variety of hiking trails - an excellent location providing plenty of walking and exercise opportunities. She watched our very enthusiastic 1.5 year old golden retriever for the weekend, and took him on hikes, had him splashing in brooks and meeting goats. “Ruchi was amazing with Frida! This was my first time leaving Frida with a pet sitter, so I was a little nervous, but Ruchi made the whole experience so much easier. She was very patient with Frida, especially at the beginning when she was a little nervous and unsure about being in a new place. Ruchi kept me updated throughout her stay, and it was so nice to see Frida becoming more and more comfortable with her and her family. When I picked Frida up, she was happy to see me, but she was also clearly very happy and comfortable with Ruchi. She even went back to her almost as if she was saying thank you and goodbye, which made me feel really good about leaving her there. Ruchi and her family are truly dog lovers, and you can tell they are very knowledgeable and experienced with dogs. I felt like Frida was in very good hands. I would definitely book with Ruchi again and highly recommend her! ❤️🐾”
