About: I’ve grown up around dogs and cats my whole life and have experience with a variety of breeds and personalities. I was raised with Labs, Golden Retrievers, Doodles, and mixed breeds, and I currently have a pit mix of my own. Caring for animals has always come naturally to me, and I truly enjoy spending time with them. Whether I’m taking your dog for a walk, stopping by to check on your cat, or caring for your pet while you’re away, my goal is always the same: to make them feel safe, comfortable, and loved. I know how important it is to trust the person caring for your pet, and I’ll treat them with the same care and attention I’d want for my own. While I work everyday during the day, I have time in the evenings and all day on the weekends to either take your little ones for walks or feed them or play with them. My dog is allowed on any couch or bed, she doesn’t have many restrictions other than jumping on tables, she sleeps on our bed or the guest bed depending on her mood lol. When it comes to sitting at your house, I will make sure your pup stays on their routine and follows any house rules that are in place!

About: My aunts and friends have always had dogs, so growing up I had a lot of experience with a wide variety of animals. I’ve helped my aunt train her excited Chocolate Lab puppy, taken care of my friend’s barky, 11 pound Mini Pinscher while they were away, and helped feed, walk, and play with my own household’s anxious, raw diet mut, Sheila. I know how to love and take care of any type of dog—from loudly outgoing to shy! I just finished my sophomore year of college and am looking to help care for anyone’s pets this summer. My schedule is open, so I am flexible to visit your pet whenever you need! I will gladly take your dog on a nice long walk and play with them around your backyard to release any pent up energy! Inside, I’m also up for playing with toys and giving lots of pets!

About: I have had a dog for 40 years, in addition to other pets. I love all animals (more than most people 😊) and I love spending time with them. In addition to owning pets, I have also volunteered for dog rescues. I have cared for friends’ animals as if they were my own. Currently, I am not working for the summer and have a very flexible schedule. I can carve out chunks of time to spend with animals to give them attention, food, and exercise. I will continue caring for animals in the same way that owners do in their household, following all rules, routines, and expectations. About: I grew up in rural Virginia, in a county bordering Shenandoah National Park. That area of Virginia is primarily known as being the horse capital of the country, and like every little girl, I fell in love with horses. In order to afford riding, I’d often trade farm work for time in the saddle; and so, I grew up surrounded by creatures great and small. Not only was I responsible for taking care of my family’s personal dogs and cats, but also the farm animals (in particular, 15+ horses at a time, farm dogs, and barn cats). My unique upbringing with horses and other animals has made me a versatile house sitter. Since I was 16 (5 years ago!), I have consistently been house sitting for families with dogs, cats, and horses. Moving to Burlington has brought me away from animals, as it is hard (nearly impossible) to care for a pet while being a full time student living in an apartment. Thus, I’ve joined rover in hopes of reconnecting with my four legged friends. I am happy to help care for your pets in whatever way you see fit! I love running, walking, hiking, or simply lounging, and am flexible to your pet’s needs. As an animal lover myself, I am committed to making sure your pet is happy and healthy! I work as a barista 4 days a week from roughly 7 or 9am (depending on my shift) to 3 or 5pm. My work schedule is usually planned a month in advance and any days that I am not working at the cafe I am available for dog walking or house sitting duties. In my free time, you can find me running, working out, reading, or painting. If your dog is an active creature, I would love to take them on runs or walks! If not, I am more that happy to care for them and keep them company while you’re away! I am not able to keep your pet at my apartment for extended periods of time due to my living situation with four roommates. However, I am more than happy to take them on adventures or visit your home to care for your pets!

Whether it's a high energy dog who needs a good run or a senior cat who prefers quiet company, I adjust my approach to fit each pet's personality and needs. My focus is always on safety, comfort, and making sure your pet feels at ease while you're away. You'll come back to a happy animal and a home that's been well looked after. My work is fully flexible, so I have plenty of availability for overnight stays any day of the week. For walks and drop-in visits, I'm available Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. I work around your pet's normal routine to keep them comfortable and on track while you're away. When I stay in your home, it is extremely important to me that I prioritize keeping it clean and treating it as I would treat my own.

About: I’ve been taking care of family dogs as well as those of friends, neighbours, and extended family for about 15 years. I’m a lover of dogs of all sizes and breeds, and doing activities from walking, hiking, running, playing and even just chilling on the couch! Over the last couple of years I’ve been watching a few different senior dogs over night for long periods of time, providing medications and other remedies they may need. I’m currently between jobs so I am currently free Monday through Sunday, morning, noon or night for both day time care as well as overnight stays with any furry friends. I am currently living just outside of Burlington in a fenced in back yard with one 9 year old pug named Duke. I have enough space here for your pet to run around and play either solo or with my dog. I at this point do not have the capacity for overnight stays but am working on creating a space where that can be possible! In regards to other care, I am able to stay over night, check in daily or even just walk your pet when needed! I have a car so I can meet just about anywhere and take your pet on little adventures if desired. I love to stay active so playing, walking, hiking, running and swimming are some of my favourite activities to do! However if needed I can kick my feet up and be a homebody for the more lazy pups.

About: I have a great amount of experience with animals. I have cared for Bunnies,Rats, Birds, Reptiles, Cats and dogs as well. I’m familiar with treating senior dogs and cats. As well as younger animals. I’ve had animals my entire life. Starting May 15th. I will have a flexible availability. I would fit pet sitting into my daily/ weekly routine but ensuring all animals are fed and have water. I will give them some play time. If walks are needed I will ensure I arrive earlier to give any dogs walks. I have two cats. Athena and Vixen Both girls are on a strict routine. They get fed wet food twice a day and dry food once. Their wet food includes multivitamins, probiotics and allergy medications. Both cats have separate diets that best suit their needs. I ensure all things for them are done before starting my day. e.i Litterboxes, water refills, medications, food and play time. Upon arriving home I greet them and play for about 30min-1hr.

About: I’ve owned dogs my entire life, so caring for them comes naturally to me. I’m also studying veterinary medicine, giving me a strong understanding of animal health and behavior. Over the years, I’ve dog sat for many families, caring for dogs of different ages, sizes, and personalities. I treat every dog as if they were my own, making their safety, comfort, and happiness my top priorities while you’re away. I work part time and I have a yard and a full apartment where an animal could be very comfortable in. I’m very active and take many walks throughout the day. I have a lot of space in our home. A lot of space for a dog bed or crate to be in the bedroom or even sleep in the bed. I have a private yard that is set away from the street and other neighbors with friendly dogs. I follow each pet’s normal routine to help them feel comfortable and secure. I provide plenty of attention, playtime, walks, fresh food and water, and lots of love. I also keep owners updated with photos and messages so they can feel confident their pet is happy and well cared for while they’re away.
