About: I currently work at a horse barn so I have lots of experience handling large animals and of course barn cats. This includes attending to wounds and administering oral medications. I have had small dogs in the past and currently have 2 young cats, Dolly and Loretta! I have looked after many of my friends large and small dogs, cats, horses you name it! I’m a diligent note taker and quick study so anything your pet needs I can provide. I am currently working part-time from 2-5:30 on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays. I am taking classes online so I am flexible with time right now. I will work with you to understand your pets needs. If your pet has a favorite walking path, toy, treat or any quirks (we all have those lol) I want to know about those so I can provide the best quality care!

About: My aunts and friends have always had dogs, so growing up I had a lot of experience with a wide variety of animals. I’ve helped my aunt train her excited Chocolate Lab puppy, taken care of my friend’s barky, 11 pound Mini Pinscher while they were away, and helped feed, walk, and play with my own household’s anxious, raw diet mut, Sheila. I know how to love and take care of any type of dog—from loudly outgoing to shy! I just finished my sophomore year of college and am looking to help care for anyone’s pets this summer. My schedule is open, so I am flexible to visit your pet whenever you need! I will gladly take your dog on a nice long walk and play with them around your backyard to release any pent up energy! Inside, I’m also up for playing with toys and giving lots of pets!

About: Hi there, my name is MJ and I'm interested in help you with your doggos, or just your one and only pupper. I have been around dogs all my life. From chihuahuas, to pitties, a Rhodesian Ridgeback (yeah, they have a lot to say. Lol...), to your average American mutt, I seriously love all dogs. For the ones that just want the basics to those who are super charged, I can match their energy. I'm available for drop-in feedings, walks, and play-time. Have a doggo that needs a little extra attention, no problem I don't mind hanging out for a few hours, so you can run errands doggo free, appointment that might be long, or just need to escape for a bit. I am flexible between the hours of 8:30am-5pm, if you are in Shelburne village I can be a bit more flexible until 8pm. Overnight stay can be arranged with at least 2+ weeks notice. We have 2 fabulous felines, Zen & Leia, that are our fur babes!! We start every morning with feeding & water changes. Toy & fun, scritches & snuggles, sometimes even a cat nap. We make our own cat food as well. I have cared for personal family pets, friends pets (dogs, cats, fish, smallies.). I am very professional and enjoy being around animals very much. We have 2 cats, Zen Vader and Princess Leia. We also have a ball python, Ms. Bea Arthur. Caring for animals brings me so much joy, and I love the thank yous of butt wiggles and a purring machine.

About: I’ve had cats and dogs my whole life, and have taken care of neighbors’ pets for many years. I am active, and can take your dog for walks and runs! I am most available this summer during May, June, and into later July. I keep my calendar updated regularly to reflect days I am unavailable. I have house sat / dog sat / babysat for many years. About: I love animals and spending time with them. I have two older dogs of my own that require a lot of care. I also regularly work with humane society’s with their doggy day out program. I typically take a shelter dog once a week for the entire day, hoping they eventually get adopted. Many of them have found loving homes. I’m free whenever!!! I am around all summer and happy help someone in need when it comes to their pets. I have a very flexible schedule, available both weekdays and weekends. I have two adopted shelter dogs. About: Hello! I am an animal lover from way back, I grew up with many animals from rabbits to geese to horses- so if you have any of those too that will work for me. I love connecting with dogs of all breeds and walking them throughout the neighborhood, or going for a hike, or taking them to a park. I am available for walks, check-ins, and boarding in my own home, where I have a yard and am close to multiple walking trails. Expectations and boundaries are important, as are use of cues and reward systems. About: I have actively been taking care of dogs since I was a teenager, and in doing so I have worked with a variety of breeds, sizes, and dog of different ages. My manner of minding focuses on building a connection with the dog while uniquely understanding the breed and the specific needs they may need met. I'm very active and thus great with dogs who are looking to get in shape or have high energy levels. I have experience working with dogs who have been abused or neglected and re-socialising them. My home is large enough for multiple dogs of many sizes to be comfortable in as well as a short walk away from multiple parks. Both mornings as well nights are currently available Monday-Sunday.

About: I grew up on a farm around all kinds of animals, so caring for them has always been second nature to me. I’ve loved and cared for many dogs of all sizes and personalities, and I genuinely enjoy making animals feel safe, comfortable, and cared for. I have a flexible schedule as I am in between jobs right now and have plenty of availability for pet care, walks, check-ins, and overnight stays. I try to keep pets as comfortable and relaxed as possible by sticking closely to their normal routines. Whether I’m caring for pets in their home or mine, I make sure they get plenty of attention, exercise, play, affection, and a calm environment. I also understand how important communication is, so I like to keep owners updated with photos and check-ins while they’re away.

About: I’ve been taking care of various animals since I turned 13. Ive been trusted to walk multiple dogs at one time, care for senior cats and administer medicine to special needs animals. I have a big love for all animals and make sure to give every pet the love they deserve. I’m a sophomore at the Univeristy of Vermont living on campus but I have a car and am excited to give some love to your pets!! I’m in class Monday through Friday but am flexible between or after classes for dog walks or any pet check ins. I love be active and would love going on a run or long walk with any pup that’s willing:) As always, it depends on the pets individual needs but Im a very active person who enjoys taking dogs for long walks and runs and accommodating their needs! I have a car so can travel to your dog and also drive them to fun new places (rail trails and hikes).

About: I grew up around dogs and have always enjoyed walking and playing with them. I’m an artist based in Burlington and have no pets of my own currently, but love to spend time with pet friends! I have a good general sense of dogs’ temperaments, reading their body language, and keeping them under control on a leash and around potential distractions. I prioritize being aware of each individual dog’s needs, unique personality, and mood, especially when first meeting them. I have experience with both old dogs and puppies as well. My schedule is currently pretty flexible to spend time with the dogs and not leave them alone for extended periods of time. I’m super excited to make more furry friends and hopefully become a frequent walker for them! My schedule is currently flexible to fit with pet care. I work various gigs throughout the week, generally which don’t keep me out of the house for more than 6 hours. If a pet needs me to check in more frequently than that, I’m open to communicating with the pet parent to see if we can figure out the schedule. I have no pets living with me, but currently can’t house overnight boarders unfortunately. I am available for sitting at your home though, and am a very clean, neat, and playful companion for your furry pal.

About: I've had dogs and cats my whole life and would like a side job where I can help myself and also help someone else. It's hard to find rewarding jobs that fit with your 9 - 5 and I'm hoping I can find something like that here. I'm really good with all animals, and love children (which is good when you walk dogs kids always try to pet them). I'm loving, kind, reliable and have a flexible schedule. I'm open to whatever is needed and want to build a stable relationship for the dog owners who select me to help them out. I also have a degree in psychology and my family still has pets, I get to help with them as well lucky for me :) I work remote from home so I'm available all the time, which is great for pet care! My schedule is very flexible and can take lots of breaks as needed. I live alone with no pets so it's the perfect spot to board animals. I also have no problem staying at your home if that is what is needed.

About: Animals have always been an important part of my life since I was little. Growing up, my neighbors' and friends' dogs became honorary family members through countless walks, and I attended a summer camp held by the Humane Society to expand my pet care knowledge. When I was a teenager, we adopted a pet of our own - an elderly dog with a lot of special needs. Later on, I held a summer job on an educational farm, where I cared for a variety of farm animals on a daily basis and facilitated safe interactions with visitors. More recently, I've expanded my repertoire to include cats and house sitting. I'm fully available on weekends, summers, and select holidays. During the rest of the year, I can do overnights or morning and evening drop-in visits. Feel free to reach out if you need clarification. I cannot board pets in my own home but am committed to meeting your pets' specific needs at your home or on walks. About: Relationship with animals has always been a passion of mine. I started grooming dogs with my grandmother at the age of 10, but was her assistant long before I earned the title. It brings me joy and fulfillment to care for pups and cats alike, while creating an environment where they (and you) can feel safe and earn my trust in the process. As a part time bartender at Pascolo Restaurant in Downtown Burlington, it would fit into my schedule to walk dogs in the morning, afternoon and early evening as well as weekends. There is a lot of freedom to work around your schedule :) In my home, I live off of Main Street in Vergennes and can provide safe walking around town as well as some of the trails near by. In your home, I am quick to adapt to whatever will make you most comfortable!

About: I have had dogs, all kinds of sizes and breeds, I love them so much. Playing with animals is a stress relief for me and I enjoy it alot I work full time at Starbucks so my schedule can be different everyday but it means that I will always get my jobs done on time and safely I care a lot about my dogs, I sleep with them and play with them everyday.
