About: My aunts and friends have always had dogs, so growing up I had a lot of experience with a wide variety of animals. I’ve helped my aunt train her excited Chocolate Lab puppy, taken care of my friend’s barky, 11 pound Mini Pinscher while they were away, and helped feed, walk, and play with my own household’s anxious, raw diet mut, Sheila. I know how to love and take care of any type of dog—from loudly outgoing to shy! I just finished my sophomore year of college and am looking to help care for anyone’s pets this summer. My schedule is open, so I am flexible to visit your pet whenever you need! I will gladly take your dog on a nice long walk and play with them around your backyard to release any pent up energy! Inside, I’m also up for playing with toys and giving lots of pets!

About: Hi there, my name is MJ and I'm interested in help you with your doggos, or just your one and only pupper. I have been around dogs all my life. From chihuahuas, to pitties, a Rhodesian Ridgeback (yeah, they have a lot to say. Lol...), to your average American mutt, I seriously love all dogs. For the ones that just want the basics to those who are super charged, I can match their energy. I'm available for drop-in feedings, walks, and play-time. Have a doggo that needs a little extra attention, no problem I don't mind hanging out for a few hours, so you can run errands doggo free, appointment that might be long, or just need to escape for a bit. I am flexible between the hours of 8:30am-5pm, if you are in Shelburne village I can be a bit more flexible until 8pm. Overnight stay can be arranged with at least 2+ weeks notice. We have 2 fabulous felines, Zen & Leia, that are our fur babes!! We start every morning with feeding & water changes. Toy & fun, scritches & snuggles, sometimes even a cat nap. We make our own cat food as well. I have cared for personal family pets, friends pets (dogs, cats, fish, smallies.). I am very professional and enjoy being around animals very much. We have 2 cats, Zen Vader and Princess Leia. We also have a ball python, Ms. Bea Arthur. Caring for animals brings me so much joy, and I love the thank yous of butt wiggles and a purring machine.

About: My name is Amelia and I am in college studying animal sciences. I have experience with dogs walking, cat and fish care, and would love to help you and your pets out in any way I can! I’m currently a full time student, so I can pop in and out mid morning and in between classes throughout the week. I will make sure the animal gets a good chunk of my time and attention and will make sure not to rush them. It’s important the animal is safe and stimulated while I am with them. If I am dropping in to feed or take care of your pet I will ensure a clean environment and that they are enriched until a caretaker returns. If I am taking your pet on a walk I will cater to the dogs temperament and endurance. The pet’s experience (and their bathroom/food needs) is optimized.

About: I’ve been taking care of various animals since I turned 13. I’ve been trusted to walk multiple dogs at one time, care for senior cats and administer medicine to special needs animals. I have a big love for all animals and make sure to give every pet the love they deserve. I’m heading into my junior year at the University of Vermont studying wildlife/fisheries biology and animal science. I typically take a shelter dog once a week for the entire day, hoping they eventually get adopted. Many of them have found loving homes. I’m free whenever!!! I am around all summer and happy help someone in need when it comes to their pets. I have a very flexible schedule, available both weekdays and weekends. I have two adopted shelter dogs. They are 11 years old and sweet girls, Izzy and Lucy. I care for them daily with feedings, walks and playing in the yard.

About: I have actively been taking care of dogs since I was a teenager, and in doing so I have worked with a variety of breeds, sizes, and dog of different ages. My manner of minding focuses on building a connection with the dog while uniquely understanding the breed and the specific needs they may need met. I'm very active and thus great with dogs who are looking to get in shape or have high energy levels. I have experience working with dogs who have been abused or neglected and re-socialising them. About: Hello! I am an animal lover from way back, I grew up with many animals from rabbits to geese to horses- so if you have any of those too that will work for me. I love connecting with dogs of all breeds and walking them throughout the neighborhood, or going for a hike, or taking them to a park. I am available for walks, check-ins, and boarding in my own home, where I have a yard and am close to multiple walking trails. Expectations and boundaries are important, as are use of cues and reward systems. My schedule is very flexible and can take lots of breaks as needed. I live alone with no pets so it's the perfect spot to board animals. I also have no problem staying at your home if that is what is needed.

About: I grew up around dogs and have always enjoyed walking and playing with them. I’m an artist based in Burlington and have no pets of my own currently, but love to spend time with pet friends! I have a good general sense of dogs’ temperaments, reading their body language, and keeping them under control on a leash and around potential distractions. I prioritize being aware of each individual dog’s needs, unique personality, and mood, especially when first meeting them. I have experience with both old dogs and puppies as well. My schedule is currently pretty flexible to spend time with the dogs and not leave them alone for extended periods of time. I’m super excited to make more furry friends and hopefully become a frequent walker for them! My schedule is currently flexible to fit with pet care. I work various gigs throughout the week, generally which don’t keep me out of the house for more than 6 hours. If a pet needs me to check in more frequently than that, I’m open to communicating with the pet parent to see if we can figure out the schedule. I have no pets living with me, but currently can’t house overnight boarders unfortunately. I am available for sitting at your home though, and am a very clean, neat, and playful companion for your furry pal.
