About: Relationship with animals has always been a passion of mine. I started grooming dogs with my grandmother at the age of 10, but was her assistant long before I earned the title. It brings me joy and fulfillment to care for pups and cats alike, while creating an environment where they (and you) can feel safe and earn my trust in the process. As a part time bartender at Pascolo Restaurant in Downtown Burlington, it would fit into my schedule to walk dogs in the morning, afternoon and early evening as well as weekends. There is a lot of freedom to work around your schedule :) In my home, I live off of Main Street in Vergennes and can provide safe walking around town as well as some of the trails near by. In your home, I am quick to adapt to whatever will make you most comfortable!
About: *PRIVATELY INSURED✅ *CPR CERTIFIED/FIRST AID TRAINED 🩹 ***Please be sure to look through my entire profile, photo album and reviews before reaching out, thank you!*** Growing up in a small town in Vermont, where there were more cows than people, I developed a passion for all animals early on. I spent my summers in high school working with horses before working at my first dog daycare and haven’t stopped working with dogs since! Over the last decade, I have worked at well-regarded animal care companies in Vermont and around the Boston area and recently transitioned from a top-rated dog training/off leash hiking company to providing private, full-time dog care services. Fun facts about me: •I love sharks ◡̈ •I went to school for Graphic Design Serving Middlebury and adjacent communities, my mission revolves around the care and enrichment of my furry friends so I will be with your pup at all times! As someone who has worked with countless animals with many different personalities, making each one feel safe and welcome is most important to me. It is my job to create a clean, safe and fun environment. Your dog will have access to my back yard with my constant supervision throughout their stay! I understand that every animal has different needs and desires and I will do everything to make sure your furry family member is comfortable!
“Had a great experience booking daily walks for three days with Jenna. Had to book super last minute and she was kind enough to accept and be flexible with us. She provided a rover card for each walk showing how far and long they walked as well as if my dog pooped 1-2x which was rlly helpful for me. jenna also went the extra mile of feeding him and making sure he ate after his walks while also keeping him company for a good amount of time afterwards too. All of which was rlly appreciated, well communicated, and shows how much she cares! I also received a daily picture which I looked forward to everyday :) not many dog walkers would do all of this but she did. Also, it was rlly important that my dog goes on a 30 min walk once every 24 h or else he won’t eat and starts throwing up from starving himself and she responsibly did show up within the asked/ flexible time frame:) Would book another walk with her in the future”

About: Hi! I’m Abby, and I’ve been caring for animals my whole life—everything from playful puppies to mellow senior pets. Friends and family always turn to me when they need someone dependable to watch their furry loved ones, and I’d love to do the same for you. I know how important it is to feel at ease while you’re away. That’s why I treat every pet like they’re my own—lots of love, attention, and consistency with their routines. Whether it’s walks around the neighborhood, playtime, snuggles, or keeping up with special diets or medications, I’ve got it covered. Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine—I work on a flexible schedule, so I have plenty of time for walks, drop-ins, and playtime throughout the day. Whether it’s morning, afternoon, or evening, I can adjust to your pet’s needs. When I care for pets in their own home, my priority is keeping them comfortable and sticking to their normal routine. I follow all instructions for feeding, walks, potty breaks, medications, and playtime—so everything feels familiar for your pet. I give them plenty of love and attention, but also respect their space if they’re more shy or independent. I make sure water bowls are always fresh, litter boxes are clean, and your home is left just the way you expect it. I also send updates and photos so you can relax knowing your pet is happy and well cared for while you’re away.

“Gabrielle is kind, reliable, communicative and clearly has a natural way with dogs. My dog felt comfortable with her right away, which says something because he can be wary of new people. It gave me so much peace of mind knowing he was in such great hands. Gabrielle went above and beyond and I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy and caring dog walker. At the end, my dog wanted to stay with her…the ultimate endorsement!”

About: I have loved animals since I was a child. I have taken many college classes about animal health. My background as an EMT has equipped me to handle many animal emergencies. I have watched various animals, including snakes, cats, guinea pigs, and dogs. I ensure that cats receive the right balance of independence and affection, make sure your pet has extra treats, and provide dogs with regular exercise. I can cater to each pet's unique requirements. I promise that your baby will receive love and attention, and be well cared for with me. I work from home and can be flexible to cater to you and your pets needs. I have plenty of time to take breaks and ensure they get the attention they deserve. I prefer to watch pets in your home but can be flexible. I live near a park and have a fenced in yard to ensure animals get proper exercise.
About: There's nothing worse than having to leave your pet with someone you don't fully trust to care for them the way you will. Growing up with dogs, cats, rodents, fish, turtles, etc. instilled a strong sense of responsibility in me for detail-oriented and fiercely loving care for all types of pets. Among my friends, colleagues, and relatives, I have become the go-to person for drop-in walks, petsitting/house sitting, and more. Traveling or needing an extra hand taking care of your pet should not have to be a source of stress - I hope to be able to bridge that gap for you. Spending time with your sweet pet is just an added bonus! I have experience caring for dogs and cats under a year old all the way to senior pets who may require more attention (like medication administration). I have experience walking more than one dog at a time, as well as walking larger dogs up to 100lbs independently. I love playing with animals and see stimulating play as a vital part of caring for them while their owner is away. I work full-time for the University of Vermont - while I do work primarily in person, I have hybrid flexibility when I am not meeting with clients and am able to step away from work when I want and need to. My late afternoons, evenings, and weekends are typically free and flexible outside of rest and relaxation! I am located very central to the University of Vermont campus, the South End, and the Old North End. I can travel by foot, car, and bike. My shared living environment limits me from boarding animals in my home. However, I am happy to care for your pets in the space they're most comfortable in and familiar with! I can come and go from your home for drop-in walks, longer walk outings, and overnight stays if necessary. I will respect you and your pet's space and belongings. Cleanliness, organization, and safety are of the utmost importance to me.
