About: Hi! I’m new to Rover, but not new to caring for animals. I’m a responsible, attentive pet owner myself, and I understand how important it is to know your pet is safe, comfortable, and well cared for while you’re away. I have a flexible schedule—especially during the summer—which allows me to give pets the time, attention, and consistency they deserve. Whether your pet needs walks, playtime, feeding, or just some company, I’m happy to tailor care to their specific routine and personality. I also understand the importance of clear communication. I’ll make sure to keep you updated so you can feel confident and at ease. I have a flexible summer schedule, so I can make pet care a priority and give each pet plenty of time and attention. I can make several visits a day, if needed. I follow the pet’s usual routine, pay close attention to their behavior, and make sure they’re comfortable and cared for. I also treat the client’s home with respect and keep everything clean and as I found it.

About: Relationship with animals has always been a passion of mine. I started grooming dogs with my grandmother at the age of 10, but was her assistant long before I earned the title. It brings me joy and fulfillment to care for pups and cats alike, while creating an environment where they (and you) can feel safe and earn my trust in the process. As a part time bartender at Pascolo Restaurant in Downtown Burlington, it would fit into my schedule to walk dogs in the morning, afternoon and early evening as well as weekends. There is a lot of freedom to work around your schedule :) In my home, I live off of Main Street in Vergennes and can provide safe walking around town as well as some of the trails near by. In your home, I am quick to adapt to whatever will make you most comfortable!

About: My aunts and friends have always had dogs, so growing up I had a lot of experience with a wide variety of animals. I’ve helped my aunt train her excited Chocolate Lab puppy, taken care of my friend’s barky, 11 pound Mini Pinscher while they were away, and helped feed, walk, and play with my own household’s anxious, raw diet mut, Sheila. I know how to love and take care of any type of dog—from loudly outgoing to shy! I just finished my sophomore year of college and am looking to help care for anyone’s pets this summer. My schedule is open, so I am flexible to visit your pet whenever you need! I will gladly take your dog on a nice long walk and play with them around your backyard to release any pent up energy! Inside, I’m also up for playing with toys and giving lots of pets!

About: I currently work at a horse barn so I have lots of experience handling large animals and of course barn cats. This includes attending to wounds and administering oral medications. I have had small dogs in the past and currently have 2 young cats, Dolly and Loretta! I have looked after many of my friends large and small dogs, cats, horses you name it! I’m a diligent note taker and quick study so anything your pet needs I can provide. I am currently working part-time from 2-5:30 on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays. I am taking classes online so I am flexible with time right now. I will work with you to understand your pets needs. If your pet has a favorite walking path, toy, treat or any quirks (we all have those lol) I want to know about those so I can provide the best quality care!

About: I have had pets my whole life. I currently have a small farm. I have chickens, ducks, turkies, pigs, dogs and cats. Alone with rabbits and guinea pigs. we are a very pet friendly area. Live in a wooded area on a dead end street. I currently work from home and have time for pet care. My youngest daughter is also in the home. Also have my granddaughter here on the weekends. she is 11. I will provide care in my home since I work from home this is the best for me at this time. I also have my 11 yr old granddaughter here on weekends.

About: I grew up around animals of all kinds on a farm and had the privilege of owning and loving our dog, Betty Lou for 14 years. I work from home and am looking for ways to make extra money while staying active and fitting in with my kids' school schedule (9 am-3 PM). We have a fenced in yard and I will follow whatever guidelines are needed in the client's home. I understand each situation is different and each pet needs specific care.

About: I have actively been taking care of dogs since I was a teenager, and in doing so I have worked with a variety of breeds, sizes, and dog of different ages. My manner of minding focuses on building a connection with the dog while uniquely understanding the breed and the specific needs they may need met. I'm very active and thus great with dogs who are looking to get in shape or have high energy levels. I have experience working with dogs who have been abused or neglected and re-socialising them. My home is large enough for multiple dogs of many sizes to be comfortable in as well as a short walk away from multiple parks. Both mornings as well nights are currently available Monday-Sunday.

About: My name is Melissa and I have taken care of animals since my first dog in second grade. I previously had a Labrador and Shih-Tzu who both lived until old age. I also fostered older dogs who could not find homes due to their age. I currently have a one year old yellow lab mix. He’s dog and cat friendly. In order to board your dog, your dog must be dog friendly. I also require a meet and greet to ensure it’s a good fit. Buddy is not neutered so unspayed females are not a good fit. I offer boarding in my home. I live in a second story apartment in an old building with a large yard. There is a picture of my apartment located within my pictures. I only board one animal at a time as it's a one bedroom apartment. It allows me to spend quality time with your pet! For boarding I do provide dishes and toys, but many animals prefer to have some of their own. I have open availability on weekends, however I work from home on weekdays and there may be times I need to be out of my home for up to three hours. I have a camera in my home and will be able to remotely check on your pet if I need to be away for work. I will always inform you prior to the booking if I have appointments out of the home. I am experienced feeding animals in a variety of ways and will follow your instructions on feeding and walking. I ensure animals are well cared for, played with, and that they receive the attention and care needed.

About: I’ve taken care of dogs and cats all throughout my childhood and have taken care of a couple dogs full time over the years. I am experienced mostly with dogs but I am familiar with cat care. I work nights in the Burlington area so I can work around most schedules and prefer afternoon work for walking. If you need house visits I can work with you on a good schedule. I will follow your directions to a T and will transport animals as needed for walks/hikes. I will treat them as my own as I don’t have any pets and miss having animals around.

Over 16 years training, walking and exercising high energy dogs. I have extensive experience with working dogs, special needs dogs and have certifications in dog obedience and other disciplines. Dog walking and exercising is my full-time job. I want to provide a concierge service that makes it easiest for you to take your time back and be well. Your wellness is key to your dog being well. My joy for this profession started when I couldn't find a trusted sitter and dog walker for my own animal. I decided to provide that service to others so they wouldn't have the same problem. About: I have been pet sitting for over 10 years now. My experience ranges from small to large, puppy to old, and active to immobile animals. I would be happy to provide references if needed. I am currently a masters student at UVM. Lots of time spent at home studying. Gone for few hours a day at most which makes me a great fit for pet care. I feel comfortable with following any training routine your animal is going through. I am capable of taking care of a home with other responsibilities besides pet care that need to get done while you are away.

About: My family and I have had cats and dogs my whole life. I cannot have pets in my apartment. But I would love to care for yours like they were my own. I’m available evenings and weekends. I Work full time. I can do overnight stays on weekends. I live in Vermont but and can go as far as Lake George. I don’t have pets. But I would be clean and respectful. I would make sure to follow any rules and guidelines to avoid any accidents. Safety is my priority above all.
