About: I will provide a on-the-ready daycare/check-in service. Check in's will include play time engagement, spending time with them if they have been alone, walks, administer medicine if need be, and overall quality check in. I can provide these services at a moments notice with being local to Burlington, and can also provide these services over an extended period of time to suite your schedule. Daily check in's can last anywhere from 30 mins to one hour, depending on your needs. I work full time but my schedule is flexible. I have watched and cared for multiple family friends cats and dogs since my teens, as well as now helping colleagues watch their pets while traveling out of town. My experience ranges from the simple check in's; walks, playtime, feeding - to administering shots, ear spray, tic and flea medicine, etc. I currently work a hybrid schedule Mon-Thurs in office and half-day Fridays from home, moving back to full-day Friday's from home come fall. Even when in office, my schedule is flexible and I am out of work by 4pm, and can step out quick if need be throughout the day, making sudden pop-in visits easy for me. And making scheduled visits even easier. I live on a quieter street and my apartment is set back from the road, giving peace of mind when out on walks or in the yard. Crating is always an option if you are more comfortable and familiar with that.

About: I've had dogs since I was born, have worked in shelters and keep raising my own puppy dog. I give dogs multiple walks and play with them. About: I grew up with many animals, both my own pets, and animals on my grandfather's dairy farm (he was also a vet). I live in the country in Richmond, and have cats, young kids and animals Rover won't let me name in the description...but they provide eggs. We have dogs in our "extended family" and we are well accustomed to dogs but we do not have one ourselves at this time. If your dog is 100% safe with those people and pets and well-behaved, let's talk! Independently insured. We enjoy hosting dogs, and are home most days of the week for most of the day. We enjoy walking with dogs and playing fetch (if dogs like to do that) on our hill in our yard. We would need to do a meet & greet to make sure it is a good match. Our yard is not fenced, and we are on a dirt road in the country with woods on the property and surrounding it, so dogs should not be prone to bolting etc. They must be 100% safe with young kids, cats and free range egg producers. No aggressive or reactive dogs please.

About: I've had pets my entire life. For over 40 years, I've raised puppies and kitties into well-behaved, loved members of my family. I have some experience giving medicine and training. I work from home 4 days of the work week and even on the day that I’m away, pets are never left alone for more than 5-6 hours a day, which is rare at that. I walk our dog daily and there is plenty of time to go out and play in a fenced yard multiples times during the day. As mentioned above, we lets our dogs get plenty of fresh air and exercise and they are rarely alone for long stretches at a time. If I'm taking care of a pet in their own home, those pets can get walks and regular visits based on their needs.

“Had a great experience booking daily walks for three days with Jenna. Had to book super last minute and she was kind enough to accept and be flexible with us. She provided a rover card for each walk showing how far and long they walked as well as if my dog pooped 1-2x which was rlly helpful for me. jenna also went the extra mile of feeding him and making sure he ate after his walks while also keeping him company for a good amount of time afterwards too. All of which was rlly appreciated, well communicated, and shows how much she cares! I also received a daily picture which I looked forward to everyday :) not many dog walkers would do all of this but she did. Also, it was rlly important that my dog goes on a 30 min walk once every 24 h or else he won’t eat and starts throwing up from starving himself and she responsibly did show up within the asked/ flexible time frame:) Would book another walk with her in the future”

About: My name is Melissa and I have taken care of animals since my first dog in second grade. I previously had a Labrador and Shih-Tzu who both lived until old age. I also fostered older dogs who could not find homes due to their age. I currently have a one year old yellow lab mix. He’s dog and cat friendly. In order to board your dog, your dog must be dog friendly. I also require a meet and greet to ensure it’s a good fit. Buddy is not neutered so unspayed females are not a good fit. I offer boarding in my home. I live in a second story apartment in an old building with a large yard. There is a picture of my apartment located within my pictures. I only board one animal at a time as it's a one bedroom apartment. It allows me to spend quality time with your pet! For boarding I do provide dishes and toys, but many animals prefer to have some of their own. I have open availability on weekends, however I work from home on weekdays and there may be times I need to be out of my home for up to three hours. I have a camera in my home and will be able to remotely check on your pet if I need to be away for work. I will always inform you prior to the booking if I have appointments out of the home. I am experienced feeding animals in a variety of ways and will follow your instructions on feeding and walking. Our chocolate lab, Ellie Bear, absolutely loves making new friends, chasing tennis balls, and cooling down afterward in the pet pool on warmer days! 🐻💦 For boarding stays, I can easily accommodate your dog’s sleeping preferences. If your pup is crate trained, I’m happy to crate them when needed, or they can relax in a cozy dog bed for bedtime. And if your dog is used to extra snuggles and sleeping close to their humans, we don’t mind cuddles in bed either — we want them to feel as comfortable and at home as possible. About: I’ve had animals of all kinds my whole life including dogs, cats, horses, fish, turtles and bunnies. I know how important it is to know that your pets are safe when you're away and I strive to provide the same kind of love & care I would expect for my own fur babies when I travel. I work from home so my schedule is pretty flexible which makes it easy to provide pet care. My life is pretty laid back so I find that I have the free time to offer services! For my own kitties, Calvin & Hobbes, I feed them on a pretty regular schedule between 8am-9am and then again at 5pm-6pm. We get play time in every day and snuggling in every other hour. They are my #1 priority and I would make your pets #1 priority when providing care services in the home. This would involve feeding, water changes, litter scooping by request, dog walking, play time, affection and whatever your pets needs are!
About: My family and I have had cats and dogs my whole life. I cannot have pets in my apartment. But I would love to care for yours like they were my own. I’m available evenings and weekends. I Work full time. I can do overnight stays on weekends. I live in Vermont but and can go as far as Lake George. I don’t have pets. But I would be clean and respectful. I would make sure to follow any rules and guidelines to avoid any accidents. Safety is my priority above all.

About: I will provide a on-the-ready daycare/check-in service. Check in's will include play time engagement, spending time with them if they have been alone, walks, administer medicine if need be, and overall quality check in. I can provide these services at a moments notice with being local to Burlington, and can also provide these services over an extended period of time to suite your schedule. Daily check in's can last anywhere from 30 mins to one hour, depending on your needs. I work full time but my schedule is flexible. I have watched and cared for multiple family friends cats and dogs since my teens, as well as now helping colleagues watch their pets while traveling out of town. My experience ranges from the simple check in's; walks, playtime, feeding - to administering shots, ear spray, tic and flea medicine, etc. I currently work a hybrid schedule Mon-Thurs in office and half-day Fridays from home, moving back to full-day Friday's from home come fall. Even when in office, my schedule is flexible and I am out of work by 4pm, and can step out quick if need be throughout the day, making sudden pop-in visits easy for me. And making scheduled visits even easier. I live on a quieter street and my apartment is set back from the road, giving peace of mind when out on walks or in the yard. Crating is always an option if you are more comfortable and familiar with that.
