“Nicole took amazing care of our dog and cat while we were away! We would love to work with her again and would definitely recommend her for house sitting!”

About: I've taken care cats, dogs, and guinea pigs since I was a little kid. My family was super adventurous and we took our dogs everywhere with us. Growing up we fostered cats and dogs of all breeds and ages. I am a professional cross-country skier so I am very active during the day. I can go on many walks or runs with your dog if needed. I will be out for two hours in the morning and then free until the afternoon. Our cats are indoor cats because of our busy street. However, growing up we would let our cats out for however long they wanted and then let them in. We had a revolving door so when we were home they were allowed to go out. I will try to make you feel as comfortable and safe as possible when watching your pet.

“Anna was amazing. I got updates on the morning and evening with pictures of the furkids. She was amazing with my girls. Took them on long walks and gave them tons of attention. The girls are looking forward to their next stay with Anna”

“Anna was great!! We were gone on an extended trip, and she took great care of our three kitties. She was great with providing updates and gave our cats lots of love. Definitely would book with Anna again!”

“I could be away without my pups for the first time in about a year and she made me feel extremely comfortable with this process. She was very responsive and cared well for my 3 pups. Highly recommend her care to anyone! I will request her services again in the near future.”

“Alyson is a local business owner and an excellent and reliable dog/pet sitter!”

About: My name is Casey, I'm a student majoring in creative writing, and I'm looking to expand my house sitting portfolio. I have been a dog walker and house sitter for three clients/families in 2025 so far and love popping by for walks every two hours with your pup. Size, barking, and puppy-ness are non-issues! I have extreme patience and good shoulders. My grandma always told me to leave the house you're visiting neater than when you got there, so I have an eye for cleanliness and I don't want you to feel like someone has been living in your home when you come back. I.E. I will ask you if I can vacuum. I'm starting school in the fall at Vermont State University in Johnson, so I am free to book any time this summer, unless I have another doggie booked that day. I'm a list maker so I like to write down your instructions when we have a formal introduction. Food, walks, potty time, play time, training, and housekeeping will all be done to your standard.

“Maggie was in great hands with Emily. At 15 Maggie is set in her ways and all went well.”

“Deborah took such wonderful care of my kitty Leo while we were away for 10 days. She stayed in our home ànd sent me text updates with pictures during her stay. It was clear from the pictures of Leo snuggling on her lap that he was very comfortable and she loving with him. Upon our return, Leo was just as affectionate with us as before. Deborah also left our home as clean as when we left. We're planning on having Deborah stay in our home again soon to care for Leo. It was a wonderful experience having her here and we felt Leo was comfortable and happy as well!!”

“Shelby literally bailed us out when another sitter failed to show up. Shelby was amazing in all respects! She not only did everything we asked to care for our large SR dog, but she cared for our home just like it was hers. She even washed the sheets on her bed and remade it before we got home. Shelby deserves the very highest rating and we expect to use her again many times before she moves away soon. Accolades and praises all the way!!”

“Alison was great with Lucy. She sent pictures and communicated through out the visit. My dog was happy and calm when I returned.”

“Chea was amazing! She was professional and responsible and very good to our animals. They all fell in love with Chea. Chea exceeded our expectations. Chea handled events with thoughtfulness and kindness. From now on we only want Chea and Rover.”

“Hans did a fantastic job taking care of my elderly Shih tzu, needing two different eye drops twice a day. He also tried to make tempting meals for her when her appetite was low. He sent me great pictures almost every day which set my mind at ease. I could not recommend anyone more highly than Hans.”

“Karen is extremely kind and pleasant. It was hard to tell she was even here! She took great care of our dog, even giving him a bath! He was very happy with her. We would use Karen again!”

About: I’ve cared for animals all my life. I’ve had my own pets over my life and enjoy helping others to get away without worrying about their fur baby. My kids enjoy animals, this is our way of getting to enjoy animals without the commitment, and instead get to help. Trying to keep fees low. I accept cash tips. Rover takes 20% of my pay. Meet and greet first if possible. I’m a single mom with two kids and work from home. My two teens and I love animals but cannot to commit to owning any. We enjoy helping others care for their pets so they can enjoy time away. I’m offering boarding one family at a time. At times I can housesit. I offer both. I’m willing to come by your home and hang out. Feed pets. Let them out, bring them back in. And short dog walks. I’m hoping to also offer boarding at my home. I would follow your directions of care. Feeding routines, etc. I will not feed human food to animals, their food that’s provided only. I don’t have a kennel so if I board your animals they need to be family friendly. No puppies- sorry too much work and I won’t deal with an animal that destroys things.

“Cindy took such good care of my dog while I was away on vacation. She kept in regular touch with me, by providing updates on how things were going, as well as pictures, which really put my mind at ease. It was the first time my dog hadn't been watched by either friends or family, so it meant a lot to find someone that genuinely loves animals and was fully committed to my dog's needs, as she was very attentive to my instructions regarding his eating schedule and other routines. When I got home, my place was spotless, and she had taken the extra step of doing laundry and making the bed, so I would have clean sheets to return to! I would highly recommend Cindy for anyone looking for an extremely reliable, responsible, and caring dog sitter.”

About: I have taken care of dogs and cats my whole life. I love respecting your pet’s uniqueness. I currently have a senior cat that I adopted with various medications/injections. I have a flexible schedule with my own business. I like to break up the day and my work from home life with the inspiration of pet sitting! About: I’ve been an animal lover and caretaker my whole life. I have novice vet tech experience and I’m not afraid of the feisty ones, either! I’m working full time but my shift ends at 1 pm, so I am available for afternoon walks, play sessions, and pet/house sitting as needed. I like to have fun with my furry friends. I’m not afraid to get down and dirty, or even rough when the zoomies come out.

“Karly loves animals and has a big heart! My dog is skittish around new people, but he took to Karly right away! I would definitely recommend Karly!”

16. Laurie P.
“There are three things that set Laurie apart from other dog sitters: 1. She is reliably caring and understanding with our pet. She gets our dog, and loves her quirks. 2. Laurie is totally dependable. She trekked through 12’’ of snow up a steep driveway to visit our pet on a cold, winter morning. 3. Laurie is proactive about resolving problems whether they are behavioral, medical or something else. If your pet won’t take her medicine, she can handle it. If your pet needs some extra TLC, she can handle it. Laurie also walks our dog, sits with her and gives her much-needed attention and checks in with texts, photos and videos. I highly recommend her.”

18. Mattie C.
“Not only is Mattie an exquisitely attentive caretaker of her own cat, Sarge - treating him like the family he's become - but through many mutual friends her love of dogs and cats is clear to us all, and her dedication to taking care of them (from childhood to the present) is next level. Mattie loves *and* understands animals. And they certainly love her!”
