1. Lorrie L.

“Lorrie dog-sat at our camper while we stayed at a campground. Lorrie was amazing, very kind and gentle. The dogs loved her and she was great with them. She sent many pictures and kept us up to date on how they were doing . We had her sit three days in a row while we had dinner onligations and a wedding We will definitely use her again!”

2. Alyssa C.

“Alyssa was terrific and very flexible. My dog instantly adored her. She took care of both my dog and the house and went above and beyond to meet my last minute need for an extension of our booking. Would definitely use her again!”

3. Anna F.

“Anna was FANTASTIC! We were in Essex for a wedding and needed someone to watch our 16 week old puppy. Anna was on time, constantly sent us photos, and even helped us fix our toilet in our hotel room! We could tell our puppy had the best time with Anna. She was flexible and worked with our schedule (i.e., we had a break in the day and Anna offered to take our puppy out during that time so we could rest / get ready.) We were nervous about using Rover for the first time and were SO happy we found Anna to watch our puppy. I would work with Anna again in a heartbeat!”

4. Alyson K.

“Alyson is a local business owner and an excellent and reliable dog/pet sitter!”

5. Anna W.

“Anna was great!! We were gone on an extended trip, and she took great care of our three kitties. She was great with providing updates and gave our cats lots of love. Definitely would book with Anna again!”

6. Serena C.

“I could be away without my pups for the first time in about a year and she made me feel extremely comfortable with this process. She was very responsive and cared well for my 3 pups. Highly recommend her care to anyone! I will request her services again in the near future.”

7. Deborah B.

“Deborah took such good care of our sweet dogs. We really appreciated the love and care she gave them while we were away. Highly recommend her!”

8. Casey R.
About: My name is Casey, I'm a student majoring in creative writing, and I'm looking to expand my house sitting portfolio. I have been a dog walker and house sitter for three clients/families in 2025 so far and love popping by for walks every two hours with your pup. Size, barking, and puppy-ness are non-issues! I have extreme patience and good shoulders. My grandma always told me to leave the house you're visiting neater than when you got there, so I have an eye for cleanliness and I don't want you to feel like someone has been living in your home when you come back. I.E. I will ask you if I can vacuum. I'm starting school in the fall at Vermont State University in Johnson, so I am free to book any time this summer, unless I have another doggie booked that day. I'm a list maker so I like to write down your instructions when we have a formal introduction. Food, walks, potty time, play time, training, and housekeeping will all be done to your standard.

9. Chea S.

“Chea was amazing! She was professional and responsible and very good to our animals. They all fell in love with Chea. Chea exceeded our expectations. Chea handled events with thoughtfulness and kindness. From now on we only want Chea and Rover.”

10. Shelby S.

“Shelby literally bailed us out when another sitter failed to show up. Shelby was amazing in all respects! She not only did everything we asked to care for our large SR dog, but she cared for our home just like it was hers. She even washed the sheets on her bed and remade it before we got home. Shelby deserves the very highest rating and we expect to use her again many times before she moves away soon. Accolades and praises all the way!!”

11. Karly M.
“Karly loves animals and has a big heart! My dog is skittish around new people, but he took to Karly right away! I would definitely recommend Karly!”

12. Karen W.

“Trustworthy and meticulous, Karen spent five days with my two big labs and gave them endless love and attention. Since we have no fence, she had to leash and walk the dogs a lot, and modify for the old limpy dog versus the young bouncy one. She left my house looking beautiful and even did the laundry! I want her back next time I'm going out of town.”

13. Zachary B.

“Zach is one of the best dog dads that I know! He treats his pup Alfie so well and is always will to help out and provide any dog advice for those that are maybe a little unsure of how to handle certain situations with their pups. Seeing how well Zach works with his dog Alfie and the other dogs in our neighborhood, I would trust him in a heartbeat to take care of my dog!”

14. Bridget K.

“Bridget kept out two very active dogs happy and the house looked great when we returned. Very happy we found Bridget through Rover.”

15. Laurie P.
“There are three things that set Laurie apart from other dog sitters: 1. She is reliably caring and understanding with our pet. She gets our dog, and loves her quirks. 2. Laurie is totally dependable. She trekked through 12’’ of snow up a steep driveway to visit our pet on a cold, winter morning. 3. Laurie is proactive about resolving problems whether they are behavioral, medical or something else. If your pet won’t take her medicine, she can handle it. If your pet needs some extra TLC, she can handle it. Laurie also walks our dog, sits with her and gives her much-needed attention and checks in with texts, photos and videos. I highly recommend her.”

16. Courtney M.
About: I’ve been an animal lover and caretaker my whole life. I have novice vet tech experience and I’m not afraid of the feisty ones, either! I’m working full time but my shift ends at 1 pm, so I am available for afternoon walks, play sessions, and pet/house sitting as needed. I like to have fun with my furry friends. I’m not afraid to get down and dirty, or even rough when the zoomies come out.

17. Mattie C.
“Not only is Mattie an exquisitely attentive caretaker of her own cat, Sarge - treating him like the family he's become - but through many mutual friends her love of dogs and cats is clear to us all, and her dedication to taking care of them (from childhood to the present) is next level. Mattie loves *and* understands animals. And they certainly love her!”

18. Meghan F.

“Meghan was awesome!! This was our first time spending the long weekend at our home with our two pups. She took them on long walks, checked in often with photos and was very respectful of our house too- even doing dishes and laundry (thank you Meghan!) one of our pups is a little anxious but Meghan was very attentive and caring and made sure to check in about anything that I didn’t leave a note about. An excellent experience! Will definitely book with Meghan again ?”

19. Mara U.
“Mara is a kitty-cat enthusiast and pooch extraordinaire. She had a lovely rotty mix named ‘Betty Lou’ for fourteen years who had all the walks, romps, and love a dog could ever have. Her current clutch of cats are adoringly cared for. In short, Mara will take better care of your furball(s) than you do!”

20. Benjamin Z.

“I give Ben a 5-star rating. He cared for my dog who has a cancer diagnosis and had a bout of diarrhea right before I left on my trip! Ben was fantastic , and took it all in stride. When I texted him to check in, he reassured me that everything was fine. My little pup was happy and in top form when I returned home! I am grateful for Ben's attention for my dog and recommend him highly.”
