With her own dog along for the ride, Anna stayed with our dog and cat at the house here and took care of everything--not as a guest, but as we would have. Maybe better. (Okay, better.) In the end, really, leaving your pets in the care of another person isn't about the number of scoops of kibble or where the poop bags go. It's about trust. “Brittany was wonderful! She came for a meet and greet ahead of time since we would be out of town when she arrived for the dog sitting, and this was our first time. One of our dogs is anxious about change and can be reactive. Brittany asked good questions about the dogs routines, behavior and other ways to make them as comfortable with her as possible during her stay. She has a great spirit that put both us and our 2 dogs at ease. She sent a lot of pictures and updates while we were away, that gave us a lot of peace about being away and missing the dogs. The house was left just as she found it, and she was respectful about our home. We would definitely reach out to her to dog sit again in the future!”

About: I grew up on a homestead with chickens, goats, cats, and a dog. I took care of said dog through its old age & am thus versed in elderly pets. I have limited professional experience but am called upon often by friends to look after their pets. I reinforce good habits and have an interest in dog training. I am a professional musician, teaching weekdays (setting my own schedule) and gigging weekends. On weekends I often have to drive and can't provide for your pet then. All weekdays until 4pm are golden for me. I have worked with skittish dogs before and keep a very tight ship as a result. Making sure your dog/cat is safe and happy in whatever way I can is a priority.
