About: I've been around animals my entire life, and I've always considered them part of the family! I got my first dog when I was eleven, and over the years, my family grew to include six dogs. My parents and I have also fostered dogs together, giving me hands-on experience with dogs of all ages, breeds, and backgrounds, including those who need a little extra patience, reassurance, and time to adjust. I've spent years pet-sitting for family, friends, and neighbors, caring for pets through overnight stays, feeding routines, walks, playtime, and lots of love and attention. I currently live with two cats, so I'm comfortable caring for both dogs and cats and understand that every animal has their own unique personality, needs, and routines. My favorite part of caring for animals is getting to know their individual personalities and making sure they feel safe, happy, and loved while their owners are away. I make sure doors, gates, and leashes are always secure, and I'm very mindful of my surroundings during walks. I also take the time to get to know each pet's personality so I know how to respond appropriately to their needs and comfort levels. Communication is key, so I always provide regular updates, photos, and messages to give pet parents peace of mind. About: I have been cat sitting and dog walking for the past two years for coworkers and family friends- and now I’m on Rover too! I’ve got two golden retrievers of my own who I love dearly as well! Meet & Greets can take place in person or virtually. If you are booking with a sitter for the first time, we recommend in-person Meet & Greets to get a clearer sense of how your sitter interacts with your pet or the new environment.
During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their contact information. Sitters may set a same-day, one-, three-, or seven-day cancellation policy. Cancelling within your sitter’s cancellation policy qualifies you for a full refund.
Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement sitter.
