About: In the last decade+ I've taken care of half a dozen dogs and nearly a dozen cats for friends and through word-of-mouth, including a very senior chihuahua who was blind and deaf and needed diapers changed. I always had cats and dogs around growing up, including two difficult dogs from shelters who had issues. I live with an energetic pit-lab mix, and my parents' three rescue cats are still my sweeties. In the past I volunteered at an animal shelter, helping to socialize cats and walk dogs. I hike every day if I can, so if your dog enjoys vigorous exercise on trails, I can provide that too! I'm an adjunct college professor and freelance writer, so my work is part-time or sporadic, with much of it being done at home. If I'm available, I'll have plenty of time to linger and give attention to your pets! I'll follow your lead on what situations you're comfortable with for your pet, in terms of where I bring your dog for a walk, how they interact with other animals and people, etc.

About: Lost my fur baby almost 2 years ago. I raised her from a puppy, I also had another dog as well along with cats. My other dog was a rescue so I’m well versed in dogs with anxiety and other social challenges. I do not shy away from dogs with all kinds of different behaviors and quirks. I love dogs (and cats!) and miss having a dog by my side. I would love to help care for other’s fur babies when they’re in need of outside support. I have a degree in Animal Science and am well versed in animal care. I can clip nails, give meds, care for wounds, support with behavioral challenges and socialization, grooming, etc. I have 11 acres where I live and can provide ample exercise through hikes in the woods, I am also open to taking them places like dog parks or vet appointments. I am available and able to handle multiple animals at a time. I have owned dogs and cats my whole life and have done pet, farm and house sitting since I was a kid off and on throughout the years. I have consistently watched a coworkers dog when she is away as well as other friends and family. I currently work full time and have availability nights and weekends. Workday evenings I’m available any time after 5pm. I’m available any time on the weekends. I am in the process of switching to part time employment. Once I am I will have more availability. I have 11 acres of land to walk and hike with dogs on or off leash. I have a cat of my own and separate housing available for dogs that aren’t cat friendly. There is an old dog on property (family member’s in separate housing) that is dog & people friendly. He stays inside in seperate housing except for potty breaks. Dog is available for play for the right fit.

About: I have been working with animals for the last ten years. Started working in dog daycares and moved my way up to vet medicine where i now am a vet technician. I am patient and understanding to all pets personalities and ages. I am currently working 3 days a week on a specialty service at a veterinary hospital. My weekends are typically free and I would love to fill the time with your furry loved ones. Will be very respectful of your home and make giving your sweet boy or girl my devoted attention. Back yard fence in play is great but leash walks are also great!

About: I grew up around animals of all kinds on a farm and had the privilege of owning and loving our dog, Betty Lou for 14 years. I work from home and am looking for ways to make extra money while staying active and fitting in with my kids' school schedule (9 am-3 PM). We have a fenced in yard and I will follow whatever guidelines are needed in the client's home. I understand each situation is different and each pet needs specific care.

About: I am incredibly attentive, responsible, reliable and have had dogs my whole life. I have administered medications to animals before as well as cared for dogs of various breeds and sizes. I am available to board your pet (s), (who have to be hypoallergenic or very low shedding due to minor allergies). I absolutely LOVE dogs - cuddling, playing, walking, brushing etc. I have extra doggie towels for when those feet get dirty, hypoallergenic shampoo for bath time if you'd like, organic soft treats, and extra poo bags! About: Relationship with animals has always been a passion of mine. I started grooming dogs with my grandmother at the age of 10, but was her assistant long before I earned the title. It brings me joy and fulfillment to care for pups and cats alike, while creating an environment where they (and you) can feel safe and earn my trust in the process. As a part time bartender at Pascolo Restaurant in Downtown Burlington, it would fit into my schedule to walk dogs in the morning, afternoon and early evening as well as weekends. There is a lot of freedom to work around your schedule :) In my home, I live off of Main Street in Vergennes and can provide safe walking around town as well as some of the trails near by.
