Doggy Day Care in Middlebury

About: I am a pet sitter. I will pick up your dog(s) and take them to the park, TAM trail. On leash/off leash. Care for them at your home or mine. I am a full time stay at home mom and caregiver to my daughter with special needs who is in school during the day. I also have a teenaged son in the high school as well. We love animals and this work allows us to have a pet without all of the responsibilities and allows me to work in a flexible way that is important for my family. I will care for your pets at your home or mine. That is truly up to you. Iam willing to do a meet and greet to start.

About: I've had dogs since I was born, have worked in shelters and keep raising my own puppy dog. I give dogs multiple walks and play with them. If necessary I take them hiking, play fetch outdoor and give them lots of love an attention. I will make your dog feel like family and help with any training that you're working on. I would love to have many digs but at the moment we can only afford one as we travel through occasionally. I work from home Monday through Friday so I am there 24/7 to support and hang out with your pet. We usually do at least a morning walk, lunch quick outing and afternoon longer walk. Our home has an unfenced yard. I will walk your pet on a leash through our trails. I will follow your pet’s schedule and they will be allowed in the open house including couch and bed if that is part of their lifestyle.

About: I grew up with many animals, both my own pets, and animals on my grandfather's dairy farm (he was also a vet). I live in the country in Richmond, and have cats, young kids and animals Rover won't let me name in the description...but they provide eggs. We have dogs in our "extended family" and we are well accustomed to dogs but we do not have one ourselves at this time. If your dog is 100% safe with those people and pets and well-behaved, let's talk! Independently insured. We enjoy hosting dogs, and are home most days of the week for most of the day. We enjoy walking with dogs and playing fetch (if dogs like to do that) on our hill in our yard. We would need to do a meet & greet to make sure it is a good match. Our yard is not fenced, and we are on a dirt road in the country with woods on the property and surrounding it, so dogs should not be prone to bolting etc. They must be 100% safe with young kids, cats and free range egg producers. No aggressive or reactive dogs please.

About: I have over ten years of experience caring for fur babies of every kind! I grew up surrounded by animals, a passion that has blossomed in my adult years. In high school I worked in a veterinary setting where I was able to learn pet CPR & emergency skills. I am now a human mama to one baby boy who I plan to pass my love of animals onto, we practice and model gentle and respectful handling of all furry friends. I am an animal mama to two goldens, some chickens and a few cats. I work from home, so naturally, spend all my days doting on my fur babies and yours too! Your pets will always be treated with love, kindness & patience by me - whether in my home or yours! I work a very relaxed job from home so I am able to be available to your pet 24/7 for medicine breaks, snack breaks, walks, potty breaks, and scritches! I have experience with every pet type, from Great Danes to bottle fed kittens. If your pet is staying in my home - they can enjoy our fenced in backyard or our dedicated dog loft if they need some time to decompress. Otherwise, they’ll get to hangout with my family 24/7 which includes my two golden retrievers, Franklin & Jasper. Franklin & Jasper have never met a dog they didn’t LOVE. For peace of mind, our dogs will never be fed in the same space as your pet(s). We always welcome you to come see our home and meet Franklin & Jasper before your scheduled drop off date so that you can feel confident and stress free while out of town. If I am watching your pet within your home, my visits are extremely flexible. I am able to accommodate feeding and walk schedules seamlessly.

About: Hello! I am an animal lover from way back, I grew up with many animals from rabbits to geese to horses- so if you have any of those too that will work for me. I love connecting with dogs of all breeds and walking them throughout the neighborhood, or going for a hike, or taking them to a park. I am available for walks, check-ins, and boarding in my own home, where I have a yard and am close to multiple walking trails. Expectations and boundaries are important, as are use of cues and reward systems. Everyone's system looks a little different, and I am happy to provide continuity to promote good behavior for your pet. Let's meet and chat to find if it would be a good fit! My schedule is fairly flexible and open! I’m happy to accommodate you and your pet’s schedule. Typically I take myself out for walks at least twice daily :) My home is well-loved and welcoming. I have family visiting regularly and am also close to trails which are so much fun to explore with dogs!
