“Kate was wonderful with our dog Cricket. She took him on short notice, brought him on a hike and sent us cute pictures. Best of all is her majestic dog Cedar, who immediately made friends with our pup. Taking Cricket to Kate’s place felt like the best type of summer camp in gorgeous Vermont woods. We will absolutely be booking again soon. Cannot recommend Kate and Cedar enough!”

About: Life long dog owner and volunteer Adoption Coordinator with local Dog Rescue -expertise with small dogs! Avid hiker, runner and dog lover! Fully fenced yard and 2 dogs for company! I volunteer full time remotely for a local dog Rescue. I offer a flexible schedule and can provide dog care in my home or yours as needed. I have a small dog and a “small dog friendly” medium sized dog for playmates as well as a large fenced yard! I am very cautious to leave my dogs with sitters and understand the added stress of leaving a small dog or puppy in care. I offer 100 percent supervision and safety when I care for pets! I have years of experience with training dogs and knowledge of dog behaviors. I offer care specific to your dog’s needs and can provide drop in visits, walks or hikes and daycare or overnight stays in my home. We have a fully fenced yard in the woods.

About: I grew up with many animals, both my own pets, and animals on my grandfather's dairy farm (he was also a vet). I live in the country in Richmond, and have cats, young kids and animals Rover won't let me name in the description...but they provide eggs. We have dogs in our "extended family" and we are well accustomed to dogs but we do not have one ourselves at this time. If your dog is 100% safe with those people and pets and well-behaved, let's talk! Independently insured. We enjoy hosting dogs, and are home most days of the week for most of the day. We enjoy walking with dogs and playing fetch (if dogs like to do that) on our hill in our yard. We would need to do a meet & greet to make sure it is a good match. Our yard is not fenced, and we are on a dirt road in the country with woods on the property and surrounding it, so dogs should not be prone to bolting etc. They must be 100% safe with young kids, cats and free range egg producers. No aggressive or reactive dogs please.

About: Experience taking care of many animals including goats, chickens, horses, bunnies, pigs, guinea pigs, and dogs of all sizes! Experience with both small, large, and all dogs in between! I have been a long time user of Rover for my own dog Ham for many years! I have had such a great experience using Rover when I am traveling out of state that I want to give you and your dog that same experience whenever you need to travel and leave your dog behind. I have one dog Ham who is 9 years old and male he is neutered, up to date on all vaccines, and takes regular monthly heart worm and flea medicine. I will only accept booking that I have "Meet and Greet" to see how they get along with Ham and make sure they are comfortable and confident together. I can accept 2 dogs per night (will accommodate for repeat client) Once or twice a day walks for up to an hour (weather permitting), your dog will be comfortable, happy, and well cared for while your gone . Your dog must be dog friendly, vaccinated and flea treated. We have plenty of rooms in our house and a patio and path for them to explore around. They are welcome to sleep anywhere at the house that makes them the most comfortable. I am happy to travel to meet and greet and can also do pickup at your place for a fee. Thank You, Alexandra I am self employed so I have a very flexible schedule that can be tailored around your pet. Normally I am home all day Thursday through Sunday. Dog friendly condo with walking path and private patio (can be fenced in for smaller dogs). Entire downstairs is pet friendly with property close to dog parks and hiking trails. I also have a guest room that can be set up to fit your dogs needs.

About: I desperately wanted a pet when I was a child so took every opportunity to care for the dogs, cats, and even birds of my neighbors and friends! When I finally got a dog of my own, there was no going back :) I currently have a Newfoundland and an Aussie, and am often caring for the pets of my family and friends as if they are my own. I have experiencing caring for puppies and older dogs, including feeding, walking, bathing, administering a variety of meds and otherwise loving on them. I hope you’ll let me hang out with your fur baby as well! I work remotely a few days a week and have a fairly flexible schedule which permits me to set aside time for dog walks and other pet care. I am an avid runner and hiker if that’s something your pup enjoys as well! We have a big yard and two friendly dogs of our own. The Aussie may want to play but can also entertain himself if you have shy pup, and the Newfie mostly lays about but will occasionally be up for a romp in the yard :) I also make sure to take them on at least 2 good walks per day and they love to have company on these adventures!

Ashley was really nice and accomodated a last minute booking request which I really appreciated. I could tell when I met her than she understands dog behaviour and gave me confidence she could deal with anything that came up in regards to understanding my dog.
