About: What sets me apart is my 16+ years of paid pet care experience with dogs, cats, fish, and large animals. I’m Red Cross Pet First Aid certified and experienced with senior pets, medications, special diets, and individualized care. I focus on keeping pets comfortable, safe, and happy in their normal routine, and I provide regular photo and text updates so owners have peace of mind while they’re away. Pet care fits naturally into my routine. I schedule my day around the pets in my care to make sure they receive consistent feeding, exercise, potty breaks, attention, and companionship. I enjoy being active with pets and making sure they feel comfortable and well cared for, whether that’s through walks, playtime, or simply spending quality time with them. Your pet’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. I provide a calm, clean, and pet-friendly environment and always follow your instructions closely regarding feeding, medications, and routines. I take time to build trust with each pet and ensure they feel secure. I maintain a safe space, keep a close eye on behavior, and provide updates so you can feel confident your pet is in good hands.

About: In the last decade+ I've taken care of half a dozen dogs and nearly a dozen cats for friends and through word-of-mouth, including a very senior chihuahua who was blind and deaf and needed diapers changed. I always had cats and dogs around growing up, including two difficult dogs from shelters who had issues. I live with an energetic pit-lab mix, and my parents' three rescue cats are still my sweeties. In the past I volunteered at an animal shelter, helping to socialize cats and walk dogs. I hike every day if I can, so if your dog enjoys vigorous exercise on trails, I can provide that too! I'm an adjunct college professor and freelance writer, so my work is part-time or sporadic, with much of it being done at home. If I'm available, I'll have plenty of time to linger and give attention to your pets! I'll follow your lead on what situations you're comfortable with for your pet, in terms of where I bring your dog for a walk, how they interact with other animals and people, etc.

I am available to board your pet (s), (who have to be hypoallergenic or very low shedding due to minor allergies). I absolutely LOVE dogs - cuddling, playing, walking, brushing etc. I have extra doggie towels for when those feet get dirty, hypoallergenic shampoo for bath time if you'd like, organic soft treats, and extra poo bags! About: I grew up on a farm around all kinds of animals, so caring for them has always been second nature to me. I’ve loved and cared for many dogs of all sizes and personalities, and I genuinely enjoy making animals feel safe, comfortable, and cared for. I have a flexible schedule as I am in between jobs right now and have plenty of availability for pet care, walks, check-ins, and overnight stays. I try to keep pets as comfortable and relaxed as possible by sticking closely to their normal routines. Whether I’m caring for pets in their home or mine, I make sure they get plenty of attention, exercise, play, affection, and a calm environment. I also understand how important communication is, so I like to keep owners updated with photos and check-ins while they’re away.

About: I have 5+ years of experience with dogs and cats of all ages, sizes, and temperaments, including multi-dog homes. I also have experience giving medications and caring for pets with special needs (cones, diapers, etc) I stay calm, pay attention to details, and make sure each pet feels safe and comfortable. On Mondays and Tuesdays, I’m unavailable for about 6–8 hours at a time. Wednesday through Sunday, my schedule is flexible, allowing for frequent check-ins, walks, and potty breaks throughout the day. I try to keep pets on their normal routine as much as possible so they feel comfortable and less stressed while you’re away. That means sticking to their feeding schedule, walks, potty breaks, and whatever they’re used to at home. I pay close attention to their behavior and adjust based on their energy level and personality whether they want to play, go for a walk, or just relax. In a client’s home, I’m very respectful of the space and keep things clean and consistent. I also make sure pets get plenty of attention, and I always keep owners updated so they know how everything’s going.

About: Relationship with animals has always been a passion of mine. I started grooming dogs with my grandmother at the age of 10, but was her assistant long before I earned the title. It brings me joy and fulfillment to care for pups and cats alike, while creating an environment where they (and you) can feel safe and earn my trust in the process. As a part time bartender at Pascolo Restaurant in Downtown Burlington, it would fit into my schedule to walk dogs in the morning, afternoon and early evening as well as weekends. There is a lot of freedom to work around your schedule :) In my home, I live off of Main Street in Vergennes and can provide safe walking around town as well as some of the trails near by. In your home, I am quick to adapt to whatever will make you most comfortable!
