About: I have actively been taking care of dogs since I was a teenager, and in doing so I have worked with a variety of breeds, sizes, and dog of different ages. My manner of minding focuses on building a connection with the dog while uniquely understanding the breed and the specific needs they may need met. I'm very active and thus great with dogs who are looking to get in shape or have high energy levels. I have experience working with dogs who have been abused or neglected and re-socialising them. My home is large enough for multiple dogs of many sizes to be comfortable in as well as a short walk away from multiple parks. Both mornings as well nights are currently available Monday-Sunday.

About: Relationship with animals has always been a passion of mine. I started grooming dogs with my grandmother at the age of 10, but was her assistant long before I earned the title. It brings me joy and fulfillment to care for pups and cats alike, while creating an environment where they (and you) can feel safe and earn my trust in the process. As a part time bartender at Pascolo Restaurant in Downtown Burlington, it would fit into my schedule to walk dogs in the morning, afternoon and early evening as well as weekends. I have a large car to bring 1 or multiple dogs out for adventures. With permission, I may spoil them. Worked as a vet tech assistant for 3 years. Rasied many dogs from puppies and am familiar with positive reinforcement training, crate training, and clicker training. Experienced with dogs that are people and/or dog shy and know how to handle the situation. I do not believe in such a thing as naturally aggressive dogs. Everyone has their own personality and experiences, so do animals. I'm currently working full time 8:30 am - 5:30 pm Monday-Friday in Burlington near Redrocks. I can do walks or check-in's before and after work for locations near my home or office. I'm available on the weekends for longer periods. I am happy to come to your home or office. I am available to care for your dog or cat in your home and can stay for extended periods within a 1-hour driving distance of Burlington. I love being active so am happy to take them hiking, running, or out for a gentle walk. I am unable to care for pets at my home.

I grew up taking care of a miniature schnauzer named Oreo, who was a wonderful family companion. I had a pet ferret for 6 years named Swarley, who I alone cared for. I have been a dog walker and house sitter for three clients/families in 2025 so far and love popping by for walks every two hours with your pup. Size, barking, and puppy-ness are non-issues! I have extreme patience and good shoulders. My grandma always told me to leave the house you're visiting neater than when you got there, so I have an eye for cleanliness and I don't want you to feel like someone has been living in your home when you come back. I.E. I will ask you if I can vacuum. I'm starting school in the fall at Vermont State University in Johnson, so I am free to book any time this summer, unless I have another doggie booked that day. I'm a list maker so I like to write down your instructions when we have a formal introduction. Food, walks, potty time, play time, training, and housekeeping will all be done to your standard.

About: Just getting back with Rover and would love to care for your pup(s) overnight or provide doggy day care in my non-smoking Colchester, VT home. I've been boarding dogs in my home for 9 years. There are no children in my home and is female-only occupied. I offer a fully-fenced grassy yard and I am home all day. In addition to lots of play in the yard I like to take them to the dog park (weather permitting). Dogs can come in and out of the dog doors into the fenced yard as they wish during the day-or I let them in and out if they are not accustomed to dog doors. I am always close-by and very safety oriented and provide lots of attention. When indoors, the pups spend time playing with me and my dog, enjoying dog toys, napping on dog beds day and night (or in a crate if you prefer). Recent references provided at the meet 'n greet we'll schedule prior to boarding so you can check things out and ask questions. I am home all day and pups boarding with me have 24-hr care. I am up early and they are fed according to their individual needs. They can the play outside or inside as they wish, coming in and out of dog doors to fenced yard, or my letting them in and out if they aren't used to dog doors. They have final potty breaks in the evening and then inside for the night. Non-smoking, non-drinking responsible home. There are no children in my adult, female-occupied home. I have a fully-fenced, grassy yard and a cozy, peaceful indoor environment. I only have up to 3 dogs in my home at a time. Frequent play, treats and toys provided.
