About: I have spent my whole life with pets and love to spend time with animals! I've been pet sitting the past 10 years part-time for friends, family and neighbors. I work remotely, allowing for flexibility for dog walks and house sitting. I work remotely and my schedule is relatively flexible, so I'm available for walks, drop in or house sitting pretty easily! With a little notice, I can work from your home and care for pets full-time, or stop by for walks as needed. I don't currently have any pets of my own, so your pet(s) will get all my attention. About: (I am currently unavailable for new bookings Thursday through Sunday.) My name is Casey, I'm a student majoring in creative writing, and I'm looking to expand my house sitting portfolio. I have been a dog walker and house sitter for three clients/families in 2025 so far and love popping by for walks every two hours with your pup. Size, barking, and puppy-ness are non-issues! I have extreme patience and good shoulders. My grandma always told me to leave the house you're visiting neater than when you got there, so I have an eye for cleanliness and I don't want you to feel like someone has been living in your home when you come back. I.E. I will ask you if I can vacuum. I'm starting school in the fall at Vermont State University in Johnson, so I am free to book any time this summer, unless I have another doggie booked that day. I'm a list maker so I like to write down your instructions when we have a formal introduction. Food, walks, potty time, play time, training, and housekeeping will all be done to your standard.

About: Relationship with animals has always been a passion of mine. I started grooming dogs with my grandmother at the age of 10, but was her assistant long before I earned the title. It brings me joy and fulfillment to care for pups and cats alike, while creating an environment where they (and you) can feel safe and earn my trust in the process. As a part time bartender at Pascolo Restaurant in Downtown Burlington, it would fit into my schedule to walk dogs in the morning, afternoon and early evening as well as weekends. There is a lot of freedom to work around your schedule :) In my home, I live off of Main Street in Vergennes and can provide safe walking around town as well as some of the trails near by. In your home, I am quick to adapt to whatever will make you most comfortable!

About: I have had dogs in my life since I can remember, from family dogs to dog sitting for friends in high school, to now owning my own two little creatures. I am knowledgeable and comfortable with high-anxiety dogs and leash-reactive dogs (one of mine is both of these and more!) and am comfortable and confident with all sizes, breeds, and ages. There's nothing better than plugging into a good podcast and taking a nice, long walk with a furry friend. I have experience with all types of dogs, especially bully breed dogs (pit bulls, boxers, etc) and everything from high anxiety dogs to puppies to elder care dogs. I can administer oral medication, and have given humans shots before so with some owner coaching, would definitely be comfortable administering injected medication if needed. I'm currently working part time, so I have lots of time to take your pup on a walk during the day or hang with them while you’re out of town. I live in Burlington, VT, but I'm willing to travel. I am happy to come to your home where your dog is already comfortable and familiar. Having two dogs who have utilized Rover for this reason, I believe it is the best option for some high-anxiety dogs not to be put into an unfamiliar situation when their parents are gone. I am also available for drop in visits and/or neighborhood walks during the weekday! There’s nothing better than plugging in a podcast and taking a long walk with a pup!

My manner of minding focuses on building a connection with the dog while uniquely understanding the breed and the specific needs they may need met. About: I have never met an animal I did not love. My mom likes to say that I’ve always loved animals. She remembers me trying to jump out of her arms, before I could even walk, in order to pet a nearby dog. I am a 32 years old and originally from Minnesota. I grew up taking care of a miniature schnauzer named Oreo, who was a wonderful family companion. I had a pet ferret for 6 years named Swarley, who I alone cared for. I have cared for friends and previous roommate’s dogs, fish, cats, rabbits, and rats. I’ve also cared for all kinds of reptiles and amphibians when working at nature centers for 3 years. I have also cared for a neighbors goats and am comfortable around farm animals. I now have a super sweet 8 year old rescue dog named Primrose.
