About: I have actively been taking care of dogs since I was a teenager, and in doing so I have worked with a variety of breeds, sizes, and dog of different ages. My manner of minding focuses on building a connection with the dog while uniquely understanding the breed and the specific needs they may need met. I'm very active and thus great with dogs who are looking to get in shape or have high energy levels. I have experience working with dogs who have been abused or neglected and re-socialising them. My home is large enough for multiple dogs of many sizes to be comfortable in as well as a short walk away from multiple parks. Both mornings as well nights are currently available Monday-Sunday.

About: I have spent my whole life with pets and love to spend time with animals! I've been pet sitting the past 10 years part-time for friends, family and neighbors. I work remotely, allowing for flexibility for dog walks and house sitting. I work remotely and my schedule is relatively flexible, so I'm available for walks, drop in or house sitting pretty easily! With a little notice, I can work from your home and care for pets full-time, or stop by for walks as needed. I don't currently have any pets of my own, so your pet(s) will get all my attention. I like to communicate with the owners ahead of time to discuss their pet's schedule and needs (food, meds, length of walk, etc.)

About: I have 5+ years of experience with dogs and cats of all ages, sizes, and temperaments, including multi-dog homes. I also have experience giving medications and caring for pets with special needs (cones, diapers, etc) I stay calm, pay attention to details, and make sure each pet feels safe and comfortable. On Mondays and Tuesdays, I’m unavailable for about 6–8 hours at a time. Wednesday through Sunday, my schedule is flexible, allowing for frequent check-ins, walks, and potty breaks throughout the day. I try to keep pets on their normal routine as much as possible so they feel comfortable and less stressed while you’re away. That means sticking to their feeding schedule, walks, potty breaks, and whatever they’re used to at home. I pay close attention to their behavior and adjust based on their energy level and personality whether they want to play, go for a walk, or just relax. In a client’s home, I’m very respectful of the space and keep things clean and consistent. I also make sure pets get plenty of attention, and I always keep owners updated so they know how everything’s going.

About: I have grown up with the dogs of various breeds - Boxers, Jack Russell's, Irish Terrier, Shnauzers, Lasa's and Mini Labradoodle--my entire life and now into an empty nest stage. After raising 3 kids and many dogs(and chickens) in our own home, I know it's not easy to find time to do it all- let me take some of that stress away by helping out. Kids have mostly gone out of state and looking to spend some time with dogs. Hoping to spend some time walking, playing with grown dogs or puppies as we currently do not have one of our own. Our dog passed after 14 wonderful years and I would love to be able to help out with day to day walks, ball throwing, or just to be there for an extra cuddle to fill that void- there is nothing like the love of a dog. I am currently working part-time and looking to fill my schedule with some furry friends. We lost our dog of 14 years and I would love to spend time with dogs more. I am available 8 to 4 most days Monday through Friday and look forward to some quality pet time. I could also do some weekends or longer, regular visits if scheduled ahead. I'm pretty flexible I have a large yard and wooded area behind our house, no neighbors close by, lots of room to run and play. If taking for walks, definitely would be on leash. I love to walk Mt Philo if yiur dog would love the company of a furry friend, could pick up and walk with any dog who has the energy.

About: I grew up on a farm around all kinds of animals, so caring for them has always been second nature to me. I’ve loved and cared for many dogs of all sizes and personalities, and I genuinely enjoy making animals feel safe, comfortable, and cared for. I have a flexible schedule as I am in between jobs right now and have plenty of availability for pet care, walks, check-ins, and overnight stays. I try to keep pets as comfortable and relaxed as possible by sticking closely to their normal routines. Whether I’m caring for pets in their home or mine, I make sure they get plenty of attention, exercise, play, affection, and a calm environment. I also understand how important communication is, so I like to keep owners updated with photos and check-ins while they’re away.

About: In the last decade+ I've taken care of half a dozen dogs and nearly a dozen cats for friends and through word-of-mouth, including a very senior chihuahua who was blind and deaf and needed diapers changed. I always had cats and dogs around growing up, including two difficult dogs from shelters who had issues. I live with an energetic pit-lab mix, and my parents' three rescue cats are still my sweeties. In the past I volunteered at an animal shelter, helping to socialize cats and walk dogs. I hike every day if I can, so if your dog enjoys vigorous exercise on trails, I can provide that too! I'm an adjunct college professor and freelance writer, so my work is part-time or sporadic, with much of it being done at home. If I'm available, I'll have plenty of time to linger and give attention to your pets! I'll follow your lead on what situations you're comfortable with for your pet, in terms of where I bring your dog for a walk, how they interact with other animals and people, etc.

About: I have had multiple dogs since I was a baby and absolutely love them! Having had a variety of breeds to grow up with I have learned a lot about dog behavior and safety. I walk my 3 dogs daily and feeding/cuddle time. I have bathed, walked, and watched dogs for neighbors and family. Taking care of a dog is like a kid your dog would get the best care with reliable responses and some cute photos while your gone :) This is my full time summer Job before college in the fall! I am fully available weekdays and weekends. My motto is life is constantly changing so I take same day bookings and cancelations. I am here for your dog and sometimes its unpredictable, my high availability can help take one thing off your plate! Staying with your dog or walking your dog, I would treat it like babysitting my past job, dog in sight at all times, it is properly cared for per owners' instruction or breed. Feeding time will always be done carefully and as instructed. My priority is to make your dog feel comfortable and safe. Playing and attention is not something to be worried about I have been doing that my whole life with my fur babies!

About: I’ve had cats and dogs my whole life, and have taken care of neighbors’ pets for many years. I am active, and can take your dog for walks and runs! I am most available this summer during May, June, and into later July. I keep my calendar updated regularly to reflect days I am unavailable. I have house sat / dog sat / babysat for many years. I have flexibility in my hours and can do overnight or drop in visits. I am recently retired, I have a very flexible schedule and can work with you on the times that best work for you and your pets. About: My aunts and friends have always had dogs, so growing up I had a lot of experience with a wide variety of animals. I’ve helped my aunt train her excited Chocolate Lab puppy, taken care of my friend’s barky, 11 pound Mini Pinscher while they were away, and helped feed, walk, and play with my own household’s anxious, raw diet mut, Sheila. I know how to love and take care of any type of dog—from loudly outgoing to shy! I just finished my sophomore year of college and am looking to help care for anyone’s pets this summer. My schedule is open, so I am flexible to visit your pet whenever you need! I will gladly take your dog on a nice long walk and play with them around your backyard to release any pent up energy! Inside, I’m also up for playing with toys and giving lots of pets!

About: Relationship with animals has always been a passion of mine. I started grooming dogs with my grandmother at the age of 10, but was her assistant long before I earned the title. It brings me joy and fulfillment to care for pups and cats alike, while creating an environment where they (and you) can feel safe and earn my trust in the process. As a part time bartender at Pascolo Restaurant in Downtown Burlington, it would fit into my schedule to walk dogs in the morning, afternoon and early evening as well as weekends. There is a lot of freedom to work around your schedule :) In my home, I live off of Main Street in Vergennes and can provide safe walking around town as well as some of the trails near by. In your home, I am quick to adapt to whatever will make you most comfortable!

About: I have never met an animal I did not love. My mom likes to say that I’ve always loved animals. She remembers me trying to jump out of her arms, before I could even walk, in order to pet a nearby dog. I am a 32 years old and originally from Minnesota. I grew up taking care of a miniature schnauzer named Oreo, who was a wonderful family companion. I had a pet ferret for 6 years named Swarley, who I alone cared for. I have cared for friends and previous roommate’s dogs, fish, cats, rabbits, and rats. I’ve also cared for all kinds of reptiles and amphibians when working at nature centers for 3 years. I have also cared for a neighbors goats and am comfortable around farm animals. I now have a super sweet 8 year old rescue dog named Primrose. I am careful to make sure sneaky pets are unable to escape when I come in and out of doors. I always put a leash and collar on any pet before taking them outdoors. I'm used to and meticulous about keeping medications and food out of reach for pets. I am highly engaged with the pets I am watching and observe for any small signs of stress or health issues. I would call you immediately if I noticed something was wrong or off with your pet and I am totally willing to call your veterinarian or take them to an emergency veterinarian, if ever necessary. I can administer medications and make special diets, if requested.

About: (I am currently unavailable for new bookings Thursday through Sunday.) My name is Casey, I'm a student majoring in creative writing, and I'm looking to expand my house sitting portfolio. I have been a dog walker and house sitter for three clients/families in 2025 so far and love popping by for walks every two hours with your pup. Size, barking, and puppy-ness are non-issues! I have extreme patience and good shoulders. My grandma always told me to leave the house you're visiting neater than when you got there, so I have an eye for cleanliness and I don't want you to feel like someone has been living in your home when you come back. I.E. I will ask you if I can vacuum. I'm starting school in the fall at Vermont State University in Johnson, so I am free to book any time this summer, unless I have another doggie booked that day. I'm a list maker so I like to write down your instructions when we have a formal introduction. Food, walks, potty time, play time, training, and housekeeping will all be done to your standard.
