About: I've had dogs since I was born, have worked in shelters and keep raising my own puppy dog. I give dogs multiple walks and play with them. If necessary I take them hiking, play fetch outdoor and give them lots of love an attention. I will make your dog feel like family and help with any training that you're working on. I would love to have many digs but at the moment we can only afford one as we travel through occasionally. I work from home Monday through Friday so I am there 24/7 to support and hang out with your pet. We usually do at least a morning walk, lunch quick outing and afternoon longer walk. Our home has an unfenced yard. I will walk your pet on a leash through our trails. I will follow your pet’s schedule and they will be allowed in the open house including couch and bed if that is part of their lifestyle.

About: My aunts and friends have always had dogs, so growing up I had a lot of experience with a wide variety of animals. I’ve helped my aunt train her excited Chocolate Lab puppy, taken care of my friend’s barky, 11 pound Mini Pinscher while they were away, and helped feed, walk, and play with my own household’s anxious, raw diet mut, Sheila. I know how to love and take care of any type of dog—from loudly outgoing to shy! I just finished my sophomore year of college and am looking to help care for anyone’s pets this summer. My schedule is open, so I am flexible to visit your pet whenever you need! I will gladly take your dog on a nice long walk and play with them around your backyard to release any pent up energy! Inside, I’m also up for playing with toys and giving lots of pets!

About: I've been around animals my entire life, and I've always considered them part of the family! I got my first dog when I was eleven, and over the years, my family grew to include six dogs. My parents and I have also fostered dogs together, giving me hands-on experience with dogs of all ages, breeds, and backgrounds, including those who need a little extra patience, reassurance, and time to adjust. I've spent years pet-sitting for family, friends, and neighbors, caring for pets through overnight stays, feeding routines, walks, playtime, and lots of love and attention. I currently live with two cats, so I'm comfortable caring for both dogs and cats and understand that every animal has their own unique personality, needs, and routines. My favorite part of caring for animals is getting to know their individual personalities and making sure they feel safe, happy, and loved while their owners are away. I know how important it is to trust someone with your pets, and I want every owner to feel comfortable knowing their furry family members are in good hands. I recently moved to the area and currently work remotely, which gives me a very flexible schedule! I know how important consistency is for pets, and I want to make sure they feel comfortable, cared for, and loved! My top priorities are always to create a safe, trusting environment and to ensure a comfortable atmosphere. I make sure all pets feel secure, calm, and loved. I carefully follow each owner's instructions regarding feeding, walks, medications, routines, and house rules to maintain consistency as needed and possible. In a client's home, I treat the space with respect and keep everything clean and organized. I make sure doors, gates, and leashes are always secure, and I'm very mindful of my surroundings during walks. I also take the time to get to know each pet's personality so I know how to respond appropriately to their needs and comfort levels. Communication is key, so I always provide regular updates, photos, and messages to give pet parents peace of mind. My goal is to create a safe, loving, and stress-free environment where all pets feel comfortable and cared for, and each owner feels confident they've left their pets in good hands.

About: hi! I grew up with multiple golden retrievers and have my own 7-year old female golden. I adore dogs and have experience looking after multiple at once. I would welcome the opportunity to give yours some extra love!! I am very active and love to bring doggies on my trail adventures running, walking, biking and hiking. Dogs are like family in our home will Be given them abundant affection and attention they require in your absence. I am very attentive to their needs and expressions, and will take great care to accommodate the preferences and routine of your pooch. Dogs must be well house trained, minimally barky, and comfortable with other dogs. I work from home most days, so I can be available to provide company and daily exercise, potty breaks as needed, & loving care and attention to make your pooch feel at home. I have a golden retriever and we love snuggles, playtime and potty breaks in the back yard, adventures on the lake or in the trail, treats (if allowed!) and can follow any routines, training or preferences your pooch requires.

About: (I am currently unavailable for new bookings Thursday through Sunday.) My name is Casey, I'm a student majoring in creative writing, and I'm looking to expand my house sitting portfolio. I have been a dog walker and house sitter for three clients/families in 2025 so far and love popping by for walks every two hours with your pup. Size, barking, and puppy-ness are non-issues! I have extreme patience and good shoulders. My grandma always told me to leave the house you're visiting neater than when you got there, so I have an eye for cleanliness and I don't want you to feel like someone has been living in your home when you come back. I.E. I will ask you if I can vacuum. I'm starting school in the fall at Vermont State University in Johnson, so I am free to book any time this summer, unless I have another doggie booked that day. I'm a list maker so I like to write down your instructions when we have a formal introduction. Food, walks, potty time, play time, training, and housekeeping will all be done to your standard.

About: I’ve had dogs for my entire life! I’ve been dog sitting for neighbors as well as family since I was 14. I am a total animal lover and look forward to being around them. I’m also a medically focused student for those who may have an elderly dog or one that needs a little extra care or medicine administrations. I’ve also been a house sitter for families and friends in my general area for many years! I am back in college for the year! My schedule for classes will vary but it’s pretty flexible and I have good chunks of time in between. I was able to make it work perfectly last year! I always do my best to give the pet my undivided attention. I enjoy hanging out with the pups, whether they want to play or just want to cuddle for a bit. I pride myself on being on time with bathroom breaks, meals, and walks to make sure the dogs are getting the best care possible!

About: Fueled by a genuine and passionate love for animals, I was a small-animal veterinary technician for 9 years. This led me to earning a pre-veterinary science degree from the University of Vermont followed by a job working at Cornell University Veterinary Specialists' small animal hospital. I have since changed my career but still pursue animal care in my free-time. This includes pet sitting, dog walking, and anything else you may need. From dogs and cats to bunnies and birds, I had it all growing up and this pet hobby has transcended into my adult life. I'm confident administering medications, trimming nails, scrubbing your fish tank, or simply walking and playing with your pets. My friends, coworkers, and family have relied on me for years for top notch pet care. I currently work from home full-time and therefore have a lot of flexibility to come care for and play with your pets! I take my own dog on walks, hikes, or to the dog park every day and would be glad to do the same with yours. Ample exercise = a happy pet! I care deeply for animals and will do all I can to keep them safe, happy, and health. I have a fenced-in yard in the New North End of Burlington that is perfect for supervised dog play and exploration. We are also just a 5 minute walk from the Starr Farm Dog Park. I follow all leash rules and will never let a dog go unsupervised while playing with a toy or eating a treat to eliminate choking hazards. I am an excellent rule-follower so if you have a special request for in-home care, let me know and I'll follow it to a T.
