About: In the last decade+ I've taken care of half a dozen dogs and nearly a dozen cats for friends and through word-of-mouth, including a very senior chihuahua who was blind and deaf and needed diapers changed. I always had cats and dogs around growing up, including two difficult dogs from shelters who had issues. I live with an energetic pit-lab mix, and my parents' three rescue cats are still my sweeties. In the past I volunteered at an animal shelter, helping to socialize cats and walk dogs. I hike every day if I can, so if your dog enjoys vigorous exercise on trails, I can provide that too! I'm an adjunct college professor and freelance writer, so my work is part-time or sporadic, with much of it being done at home. If I'm available, I'll have plenty of time to linger and give attention to your pets! I'll follow your lead on what situations you're comfortable with for your pet, in terms of where I bring your dog for a walk, how they interact with other animals and people, etc.

About: My aunts and friends have always had dogs, so growing up I had a lot of experience with a wide variety of animals. I’ve helped my aunt train her excited Chocolate Lab puppy, taken care of my friend’s barky, 11 pound Mini Pinscher while they were away, and helped feed, walk, and play with my own household’s anxious, raw diet mut, Sheila. I know how to love and take care of any type of dog—from loudly outgoing to shy! I just finished my sophomore year of college and am looking to help care for anyone’s pets this summer. My schedule is open, so I am flexible to visit your pet whenever you need! I will gladly take your dog on a nice long walk and play with them around your backyard to release any pent up energy! Inside, I’m also up for playing with toys and giving lots of pets!

About: I have actively been taking care of dogs since I was a teenager, and in doing so I have worked with a variety of breeds, sizes, and dog of different ages. My manner of minding focuses on building a connection with the dog while uniquely understanding the breed and the specific needs they may need met. I'm very active and thus great with dogs who are looking to get in shape or have high energy levels. I have experience working with dogs who have been abused or neglected and re-socialising them. My home is large enough for multiple dogs of many sizes to be comfortable in as well as a short walk away from multiple parks. Both mornings as well nights are currently available Monday-Sunday.

About: Relationship with animals has always been a passion of mine. I started grooming dogs with my grandmother at the age of 10, but was her assistant long before I earned the title. It brings me joy and fulfillment to care for pups and cats alike, while creating an environment where they (and you) can feel safe and earn my trust in the process. As a part time bartender at Pascolo Restaurant in Downtown Burlington, it would fit into my schedule to walk dogs in the morning, afternoon and early evening as well as weekends. There is a lot of freedom to work around your schedule :) In my home, I live off of Main Street in Vergennes and can provide safe walking around town as well as some of the trails near by. In your home, I am quick to adapt to whatever will make you most comfortable!

About: I have been working with animals for the last ten years. Started working in dog daycares and moved my way up to vet medicine where i now am a vet technician. I am patient and understanding to all pets personalities and ages. I am currently working 3 days a week on a specialty service at a veterinary hospital. About: I grew up on a farm around all kinds of animals, so caring for them has always been second nature to me. I’ve loved and cared for many dogs of all sizes and personalities, and I genuinely enjoy making animals feel safe, comfortable, and cared for. I have a flexible schedule as I am in between jobs right now and have plenty of availability for pet care, walks, check-ins, and overnight stays. I try to keep pets as comfortable and relaxed as possible by sticking closely to their normal routines. Whether I’m caring for pets in their home or mine, I make sure they get plenty of attention, exercise, play, affection, and a calm environment. About: Hi my name is Jaelyn! I've had a passion for animals since I was a kid. I had a horse when I was little that I took care of and was a stable hand as well. I work at a doggy daycare so I am knowledgeable with taking care of dogs and with giving them meds ect. Sundays and Mondays are days any time would work for dog walking. Anyother days I am available early in the morning (6am-10am). And i'm available any days for pet sitting overnight! I have experience in taking care of horses, dogs, goats, bearded dragons, and cats so I have alot of experience with taking care of all different kinds of animals. About: I’ve taken care of dogs and cats all throughout my childhood and have taken care of a couple dogs full time over the years. I am experienced mostly with dogs but I am familiar with cat care. I work nights in the Burlington area so I can work around most schedules and prefer afternoon work for walking. If you need house visits I can work with you on a good schedule. I will follow your directions to a T and will transport animals as needed for walks/hikes. I will treat them as my own as I don’t have any pets and miss having animals around.

I have a large car to bring 1 or multiple dogs out for adventures. With permission, I may spoil them. Worked as a vet tech assistant for 3 years. Rasied many dogs from puppies and am familiar with positive reinforcement training, crate training, and clicker training. Experienced with dogs that are people and/or dog shy and know how to handle the situation. I do not believe in such a thing as naturally aggressive dogs. Everyone has their own personality and experiences, so do animals. I'm currently working full time 8:30 am - 5:30 pm Monday-Friday in Burlington near Redrocks. I can do walks or check-in's before and after work for locations near my home or office. I'm available on the weekends for longer periods. I am happy to come to your home or office. I am available to care for your dog or cat in your home and can stay for extended periods within a 1-hour driving distance of Burlington. I love being active so am happy to take them hiking, running, or out for a gentle walk. I am unable to care for pets at my home.
