About: I grew up on a farm around all kinds of animals, so caring for them has always been second nature to me. I’ve loved and cared for many dogs of all sizes and personalities, and I genuinely enjoy making animals feel safe, comfortable, and cared for. I have a flexible schedule as I am in between jobs right now and have plenty of availability for pet care, walks, check-ins, and overnight stays. I try to keep pets as comfortable and relaxed as possible by sticking closely to their normal routines. Whether I’m caring for pets in their home or mine, I make sure they get plenty of attention, exercise, play, affection, and a calm environment. I also understand how important communication is, so I like to keep owners updated with photos and check-ins while they’re away.

About: I have 5+ years of experience with dogs and cats of all ages, sizes, and temperaments, including multi-dog homes. I also have experience giving medications and caring for pets with special needs (cones, diapers, etc) I stay calm, pay attention to details, and make sure each pet feels safe and comfortable. On Mondays and Tuesdays, I’m unavailable for about 6–8 hours at a time. Wednesday through Sunday, my schedule is flexible, allowing for frequent check-ins, walks, and potty breaks throughout the day. I try to keep pets on their normal routine as much as possible so they feel comfortable and less stressed while you’re away. That means sticking to their feeding schedule, walks, potty breaks, and whatever they’re used to at home. I pay close attention to their behavior and adjust based on their energy level and personality whether they want to play, go for a walk, or just relax. In a client’s home, I’m very respectful of the space and keep things clean and consistent. I also make sure pets get plenty of attention, and I always keep owners updated so they know how everything’s going.

About: I’m an animal lover to the core and not a single dog frightens me. I dog sit Mini Yorkies up to German Shepards for my friends and family and have always had dogs in my life. In the past, I’ve assisted caring for my mother’s chihuahua who pinched a nerve in his spine and had been paralyzed from his waist down so I’m familiar with mildly handicapped dogs. I go on hikes/walks through town forests every weekend with friends, so what’s another dog or two in the mix! Generally available weekday evenings and weekends. Whatever activities your dog enjoys or you prefer your dog to partake in, I will gladly oblige as it would be my responsibility to keep them as happy and comfortable in your absence. I have my own one year old GSD/Border Collie mix who is extremely friendly and loves to play and socialize. I currently work remotely which allows for flexibility to take care of my own pets, as well as my neighbors when they are working. While I have more flexibility in the evenings during the week, I can always make time during a weekday if the need is there. I live in an area that is abundant with fellow dogs and dog friends, allowing for socializing and extra entertainment and enrichment if the prospective dog works well with others. I’m also a short distance from a massive dog park where I take my own boy to get out some off leash zoomies. I have three cats in house who are familiar with dogs but will make themselves scarce if they’re uncomfortable and have their own room to hide where no dogs can go.

About: I’ve had cats and dogs my whole life, and have taken care of neighbors’ pets for many years. I am active, and can take your dog for walks and runs! I am most available this summer during May, June, and into later July. I keep my calendar updated regularly to reflect days I am unavailable. I have house sat / dog sat / babysat for many years. About: I have had dogs my whole life and have taken care of a variety of dogs since I was young, including puppies and senior dogs. I also have raised goats and chickens for years. I have a large fenced in yard for plenty of outdoor playtime and access to acres of wooded trails outside my backyard. I love hiking with dogs as well as playing outside. About: I have a great amount of experience with animals. I have cared for Bunnies,Rats, Birds, Reptiles, Cats and dogs as well. I’m familiar with treating senior dogs and cats. As well as younger animals. I’ve had animals my entire life. Starting May 15th. I will have a flexible availability. I would fit pet sitting into my daily/ weekly routine but ensuring all animals are fed and have water. I will give them some play time. If walks are needed I will ensure I arrive earlier to give any dogs walks. I have two cats. Athena and Vixen Both girls are on a strict routine. They get fed wet food twice a day and dry food once. Their wet food includes multivitamins, probiotics and allergy medications. Both cats have separate diets that best suit their needs. I ensure all things for them are done before starting my day. e.i Litterboxes, water refills, medications, food and play time. Upon arriving home I greet them and play for about 30min-1hr.

About: I have had multiple dogs since I was a baby and absolutely love them! Having had a variety of breeds to grow up with I have learned a lot about dog behavior and safety. I walk my 3 dogs daily and feeding/cuddle time. I have bathed, walked, and watched dogs for neighbors and family. Taking care of a dog is like a kid your dog would get the best care with reliable responses and some cute photos while your gone :) This is my full time summer Job before college in the fall! I am fully available weekdays and weekends. My motto is life is constantly changing so I take same day bookings and cancelations. I am here for your dog and sometimes its unpredictable, my high availability can help take one thing off your plate! Staying with your dog or walking your dog, I would treat it like babysitting my past job, dog in sight at all times, it is properly cared for per owners' instruction or breed. Feeding time will always be done carefully and as instructed. My priority is to make your dog feel comfortable and safe. Playing and attention is not something to be worried about I have been doing that my whole life with my fur babies!

About: I have grown up with the dogs of various breeds - Boxers, Jack Russell's, Irish Terrier, Shnauzers, Lasa's and Mini Labradoodle--my entire life and now into an empty nest stage. After raising 3 kids and many dogs(and chickens) in our own home, I know it's not easy to find time to do it all- let me take some of that stress away by helping out. Kids have mostly gone out of state and looking to spend some time with dogs. Hoping to spend some time walking, playing with grown dogs or puppies as we currently do not have one of our own. Our dog passed after 14 wonderful years and I would love to be able to help out with day to day walks, ball throwing, or just to be there for an extra cuddle to fill that void- there is nothing like the love of a dog. I am currently working part-time and looking to fill my schedule with some furry friends. We lost our dog of 14 years and I would love to spend time with dogs more. I am available 8 to 4 most days Monday through Friday and look forward to some quality pet time. I could also do some weekends or longer, regular visits if scheduled ahead. I'm pretty flexible I have a large yard and wooded area behind our house, no neighbors close by, lots of room to run and play. If taking for walks, definitely would be on leash. I love to walk Mt Philo if yiur dog would love the company of a furry friend, could pick up and walk with any dog who has the energy.

About: I have actively been taking care of dogs since I was a teenager, and in doing so I have worked with a variety of breeds, sizes, and dog of different ages. My manner of minding focuses on building a connection with the dog while uniquely understanding the breed and the specific needs they may need met. I'm very active and thus great with dogs who are looking to get in shape or have high energy levels. I have experience working with dogs who have been abused or neglected and re-socialising them. My home is large enough for multiple dogs of many sizes to be comfortable in as well as a short walk away from multiple parks. Both mornings as well nights are currently available Monday-Sunday.

About: I have had dogs in my life since I can remember, from family dogs to dog sitting for friends in high school, to now owning my own two little creatures. I am knowledgeable and comfortable with high-anxiety dogs and leash-reactive dogs (one of mine is both of these and more!) and am comfortable and confident with all sizes, breeds, and ages. There's nothing better than plugging into a good podcast and taking a nice, long walk with a furry friend. I have experience with all types of dogs, especially bully breed dogs (pit bulls, boxers, etc) and everything from high anxiety dogs to puppies to elder care dogs. I can administer oral medication, and have given humans shots before so with some owner coaching, would definitely be comfortable administering injected medication if needed. I'm currently working part time, so I have lots of time to take your pup on a walk during the day or hang with them while you’re out of town. I live in Burlington, VT, but I'm willing to travel. I am happy to come to your home where your dog is already comfortable and familiar. Having two dogs who have utilized Rover for this reason, I believe it is the best option for some high-anxiety dogs not to be put into an unfamiliar situation when their parents are gone.
