About: I have actively been taking care of dogs since I was a teenager, and in doing so I have worked with a variety of breeds, sizes, and dog of different ages. My manner of minding focuses on building a connection with the dog while uniquely understanding the breed and the specific needs they may need met. I'm very active and thus great with dogs who are looking to get in shape or have high energy levels. I have experience working with dogs who have been abused or neglected and re-socialising them. My home is large enough for multiple dogs of many sizes to be comfortable in as well as a short walk away from multiple parks. Both mornings as well nights are currently available Monday-Sunday.

About: I grew up on a farm around all kinds of animals, so caring for them has always been second nature to me. I’ve loved and cared for many dogs of all sizes and personalities, and I genuinely enjoy making animals feel safe, comfortable, and cared for. I have a flexible schedule as I am in between jobs right now and have plenty of availability for pet care, walks, check-ins, and overnight stays. I try to keep pets as comfortable and relaxed as possible by sticking closely to their normal routines. Whether I’m caring for pets in their home or mine, I make sure they get plenty of attention, exercise, play, affection, and a calm environment. I also understand how important communication is, so I like to keep owners updated with photos and check-ins while they’re away.

About: I have had dogs my whole life and have taken care of a variety of dogs since I was young, including puppies and senior dogs. I also have raised goats and chickens for years. I have a large fenced in yard for plenty of outdoor playtime and access to acres of wooded trails outside my backyard. I love hiking with dogs as well as playing outside. I treat each dog like a member of my family when they stay with me ensuring they are comfortable, loved, and getting their needs met. I look forward to getting to know your dog. I am available for boarding on the weekends and will customize the care to fit the need of your dog and take the lead from the owner. I have a fully fenced in yard for dogs to safely run around. I follow clear expectations provided by the owner and individualize care to the needs of each dog ensuring they are safe, happy, and comfortable.

About: I currently work at a horse barn so I have lots of experience handling large animals and of course barn cats. This includes attending to wounds and administering oral medications. I have had small dogs in the past and currently have 2 young cats, Dolly and Loretta! I have looked after many of my friends large and small dogs, cats, horses you name it! I’m a diligent note taker and quick study so anything your pet needs I can provide. I am currently working part-time from 2-5:30 on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays. I am taking classes online so I am flexible with time right now. I will work with you to understand your pets needs. If your pet has a favorite walking path, toy, treat or any quirks (we all have those lol) I want to know about those so I can provide the best quality care!

About: I have grown up with the dogs of various breeds - Boxers, Jack Russell's, Shnauzers, Lasa's and Mini Labradoodle--my entire life and now into an empty nest stage. After raising 3 kids and many dogs in our own home, I know it's not easy to find time to do it all- let me take some of that stress away by helping out. Kids have mostly gone out of state and looking to spend some time with dogs. Hoping to spend some time walking playing with grown dogs or puppies as we currently do not have one of our own. Our dog passed after 14 wonderful years and I would love to be able to help out with day to day walks, ball throwing, or just a be there for some extra cuddle to fill that void- there is nothing like the love of a dog. I am currently working part-time and looking to fill my schedule with some furry friends. We lost our dog of 14 years and I would love to spend time with dogs more. I am available 8 to 4 most days Monday through Friday and look forward to some quality pet time. I could also do some weekends or longer, regular visits if scheduled ahead. I'm pretty flexible I have a large yard and wooded area behind our house, no neighbors close by, lots of room to run and play. If taking for walks, definitely would be on leash. Would also love to pick up and walk Philo with any dog who has the energy.

I have a large car to bring 1 or multiple dogs out for adventures. With permission, I may spoil them. Worked as a vet tech assistant for 3 years. Rasied many dogs from puppies and am familiar with positive reinforcement training, crate training, and clicker training. Experienced with dogs that are people and/or dog shy and know how to handle the situation. I do not believe in such a thing as naturally aggressive dogs. Everyone has their own personality and experiences, so do animals. I'm currently working full time 8:30 am - 5:30 pm Monday-Friday in Burlington near Redrocks. I can do walks or check-in's before and after work for locations near my home or office. I'm available on the weekends for longer periods. I am happy to come to your home or office. I am available to care for your dog or cat in your home and can stay for extended periods within a 1-hour driving distance of Burlington. I love being active so am happy to take them hiking, running, or out for a gentle walk. I am unable to care for pets at my home.

I have been a dog walker and house sitter for three clients/families in 2025 so far and love popping by for walks every two hours with your pup. Size, barking, and puppy-ness are non-issues! I have extreme patience and good shoulders. My grandma always told me to leave the house you're visiting neater than when you got there, so I have an eye for cleanliness and I don't want you to feel like someone has been living in your home when you come back. I.E. I will ask you if I can vacuum. I'm starting school in the fall at Vermont State University in Johnson, so I am free to book any time this summer, unless I have another doggie booked that day. I'm a list maker so I like to write down your instructions when we have a formal introduction. Food, walks, potty time, play time, training, and housekeeping will all be done to your standard.

About: Hi my name is Lily and I am an avid animal lover! I am an experienced professional dog walker and pet sitter. I have worked professionally for a local dog walking and pet sitting company in my hometown of Richmond, Virginia and this was easily my favorite job ever! I love the canine companionship and have been a dog owner and care giver since I was very young. I have grown up around dogs (very big and very small) and always loved helping my family raise our dogs throughout childhood and into raising my own cat and dogs for the past 20+ years. I have a small chihuahua named Lola who I rescued from the Richmond VA SPCA 11 years ago. She's very sweet and loves play dates with other dogs but never minds hanging back at home with the rest of her pack. She enjoys shorter walks in her senior years and can often be found soaking up the sun and recharging in the backyard in the warmer months. For six years Lola had a close chi companion named Paco who I rescued from Tennessee in 2020 who is unfortunately no longer with us. He sadly lost his battle with congestive heart failure in January 2026 and Lola and I miss him so much everyday. In Paco's early rescue months it took a lot of time and compassion for him to open up into the sweet boy he was. He lived a very happy and fulfilled life until the end. Helping him blossom into the best, most perfect chi, was easily one of the most rewarding experiences of my life. Lola and I have settled in South Burlington, Vermont and despite the cold winter months, we love our new home! In addition to being a professional dog walker and pet sitter with Barksley back in Virginia, I have also provided pet care for my friends and families fur babies for many years now. I am naturally an active person and love going on long walks in the neighborhood or just hanging out in the yard playing fetch. Do you love the dog park? I do too! I have great doggie transportation with ample room in the back of my Subaru Forester for your pup to relax in if the adventure takes us on the road. As a long time dog owner Iv always kept a daily routine based around caring for my pets. That usually means early mornings letting the pups out and feeding them before getting the day started. We always go on our daily dog walk and on the weekends my pups love an adventure outdoors. I have a Petcube camera and baby gates that keep my pups safe while I’m away. We allow our pets on the furniture and love snuggling up to them. They also have many beds available for snuggling if they want as well. We keep fresh water available in multiple spots throughout the house. When I’m dog sitting or boarding I make sure to ask the owner what their pet prefers in terms of a bed or crate. I also make sure to get any information on feeding and potty breaks, or any other funny quirks I would need to know about your fur baby! While boarding dogs, I make sure to check in on the pet cube camera if i ever need to spend any amount of time away.

About: In the last decade+ I've taken care of half a dozen dogs and nearly a dozen cats for friends and through word-of-mouth, including a very senior chihuahua who was blind and deaf and needed diapers changed. I always had cats and dogs around growing up, including two difficult dogs from shelters who had issues. I live with an energetic pit-lab mix, and my parents' three rescue cats are still my sweeties. In the past I volunteered at an animal shelter, helping to socialize cats and walk dogs. I hike every day if I can, so if your dog enjoys vigorous exercise on trails, I can provide that too! I'm an adjunct college professor and freelance writer, so my work is part-time or sporadic, with much of it being done at home. If I'm available, I'll have plenty of time to linger and give attention to your pets! I'll follow your lead on what situations you're comfortable with for your pet, in terms of where I bring your dog for a walk, how they interact with other animals and people, etc.
