“Julia was AWESOME. In fact, I worried that our dog, Tucker, would end up preferring to stay with her rather than come home with us! She watched our very enthusiastic 1.5 year old golden retriever for the weekend, and took him on hikes, had him splashing in brooks and meeting goats. She was easy to get in touch with, accepted our last minute booking (including squeezing in a meet and greet prior) and sent great photos. 10/10 recommend!!”
“My baby girl had yet another fun, snuggle, and love-filled stay with Julian and Jocelyn! This was the fifth time Brooklyn has stayed with them, and she got very excited as we were approaching their apartment building on the day of the drop off. Once there, Brooklyn was so happy to see this warm and lovely couple and made herself at home right away. During the stay, I received daily detailed updates accompanied by amazing photos, and was kept updated on what seemed to be a rash that my baby was developing; I know Brooklyn had a better time hanging with Julian and Jocelyn than she does at home which was just so comforting while away. I can't say enough wonderful things about this couple, and the fact that I check their availability whenever I have flexibility, before booking my vacation speaks volume on how much Brooklyn and I adore and trust this couple! You will not find a better host than them and I highly recommend them especially who, like me, tend to get nervous about leaving their fur babies when going away, as Julian and Jocelyn have me cured :)! And did I mention that they are always, always super accommodating with pick up and drop off and even picked up my baby for one of the stays which made my life so much easier! ”

About: Ive taken care of dogs for my whole life. I love spending time with dogs that includes taking them for walks, running around with them, scratching their belly, giving them treats :) I just love the companionship they offer and the happiness they give people. I work full time Monday through Friday but am available on the weekends or evenings for either overnight stays, day stays or just walking the pups. We live in a rather rural area- we are not close to any roads or dangerous traffic. We have cross country trails behind our house that are great to take dogs out on. I removed a star because she had a last minute mix up with her work schedule and texted us the morning we were leaving to let us know she could not come within the agreed upon time window, which left us scrambling calling neighbors and friends asking for backup. She ended up getting her work schedule moved around to make it work, which we really appreciated, but she was not able to stay the full 30 minutes at that time. This delayed us leaving on our trip by about two hours, which was a challenging start for us. With that being said, we really appreciated Bianca going above and beyond to get her work schedule moved around when things went awry.”

About: Fueled by a genuine and passionate love for animals, I was a small-animal veterinary technician for 9 years. I live in the country in Richmond, and have cats, young kids and animals Rover won't let me name in the description...but they provide eggs. We have dogs in our "extended family" and we are well accustomed to dogs but we do not have one ourselves at this time. If your dog is 100% safe with those people and pets and well-behaved, let's talk! Independently insured. We enjoy hosting dogs, and are home most days of the week for most of the day. We enjoy walking with dogs and playing fetch (if dogs like to do that) on our hill in our yard. We would need to do a meet & greet to make sure it is a good match. Our yard is not fenced, and we are on a dirt road in the country with woods on the property and surrounding it, so dogs should not be prone to bolting etc. They must be 100% safe with young kids, cats and free range egg producers. No aggressive or reactive dogs please.

About: I have 5+ years of experience with dogs and cats of all ages, sizes, and temperaments, including multi-dog homes. I also have experience giving medications and caring for pets with special needs (cones, diapers, etc) I stay calm, pay attention to details, and make sure each pet feels safe and comfortable. On Mondays and Tuesdays, I’m unavailable for about 6–8 hours at a time. Wednesday through Sunday, my schedule is flexible, allowing for frequent check-ins, walks, and potty breaks throughout the day. I try to keep pets on their normal routine as much as possible so they feel comfortable and less stressed while you’re away. That means sticking to their feeding schedule, walks, potty breaks, and whatever they’re used to at home. I pay close attention to their behavior and adjust based on their energy level and personality whether they want to play, go for a walk, or just relax. In a client’s home, I’m very respectful of the space and keep things clean and consistent. I also make sure pets get plenty of attention, and I always keep owners updated so they know how everything’s going.

About: I have a great amount of experience with animals. I have cared for Bunnies,Rats, Birds, Reptiles, Cats and dogs as well. I’m familiar with treating senior dogs and cats. As well as younger animals. I’ve had animals my entire life. Starting May 15th. I will have a flexible availability. I would fit pet sitting into my daily/ weekly routine but ensuring all animals are fed and have water. I will give them some play time. If walks are needed I will ensure I arrive earlier to give any dogs walks. I have two cats. Athena and Vixen Both girls are on a strict routine. They get fed wet food twice a day and dry food once. Their wet food includes multivitamins, probiotics and allergy medications. Both cats have separate diets that best suit their needs. I ensure all things for them are done before starting my day. e.i Litterboxes, water refills, medications, food and play time. Upon arriving home I greet them and play for about 30min-1hr.
“Had a great experience booking daily walks for three days with Jenna. Had to book super last minute and she was kind enough to accept and be flexible with us. She provided a rover card for each walk showing how far and long they walked as well as if my dog pooped 1-2x which was rlly helpful for me. jenna also went the extra mile of feeding him and making sure he ate after his walks while also keeping him company for a good amount of time afterwards too. All of which was rlly appreciated, well communicated, and shows how much she cares! I also received a daily picture which I looked forward to everyday :) not many dog walkers would do all of this but she did. Also, it was rlly important that my dog goes on a 30 min walk once every 24 h or else he won’t eat and starts throwing up from starving himself and she responsibly did show up within the asked/ flexible time frame:) Would book another walk with her in the future”

About: My experience taking care of dogs goes back to my childhood. When I was 8 we got a new puppy and from that moment on I have been obsessed. From taking care of newborn puppies and experiencing the birthing process to helping my senior dogs find comfort in their final days, I have seen it all. I learned a lot of what I know from firsthand experience but also from reading many books of dog behavior and from being taught training techniques from a close family friend and dog trainer. Nothing makes me happier than a dog and nothing makes my dog happier than being with other dogs! I hope to ease the stress that can come from managing life and wanting the best for your pup by providing a safe space for them to have fun! I am currently a student at University and my schedule takes me away from the home for 6 hours a day 5 days a week. I am always providing enrichment activities for my dog while I am away from the house and we go on a long walk when I return. I have a big yard that is partially wooded for the dogs to play around in, whether your dog is good off leash or not. I have a run for my dog that he stays on when outside in the yard but he usually sticks with me so he’s not always attached. In the home are multiple dog beds and comfy places for the pups to rest after a long day. There is always access to water, inside and out. My dog is very easy going so we are willing to be adaptable on a pet to pet basis.

She watched our very enthusiastic 1.5 year old golden retriever for the weekend, and took him on hikes, had him splashing in brooks and meeting goats. “My baby girl had yet another fun, snuggle, and love-filled stay with Julian and Jocelyn! This was the fifth time Brooklyn has stayed with them, and she got very excited as we were approaching their apartment building on the day of the drop off. Once there, Brooklyn was so happy to see this warm and lovely couple and made herself at home right away. During the stay, I received daily detailed updates accompanied by amazing photos, and was kept updated on what seemed to be a rash that my baby was developing; I know Brooklyn had a better time hanging with Julian and Jocelyn than she does at home which was just so comforting while away. I can't say enough wonderful things about this couple, and the fact that I check their availability whenever I have flexibility, before booking my vacation speaks volume on how much Brooklyn and I adore and trust this couple! You will not find a better host than them and I highly recommend them especially who, like me, tend to get nervous about leaving their fur babies when going away, as Julian and Jocelyn have me cured :)! And did I mention that they are always, always super accommodating with pick up and drop off and even picked up my baby for one of the stays which made my life so much easier! ”
