About: I am incredibly attentive, responsible, reliable and have had dogs my whole life. I have administered medications to animals before as well as cared for dogs of various breeds and sizes. I am available to board your pet (s), (who have to be hypoallergenic or very low shedding due to minor allergies). I absolutely LOVE dogs - cuddling, playing, walking, brushing etc. I have extra doggie towels for when those feet get dirty, hypoallergenic shampoo for bath time if you'd like, organic soft treats, and extra poo bags! I have 10 years of experience in Healthcare. I am a loving, compassionate, and very responsible worker and person. You won't ever have to worry about last minute cancellations. I take pride in my work ethic in general and in how I conduct myself in the professional world. I am looking forward to meeting you and your pet(s)! About: In the last decade+ I've taken care of half a dozen dogs and nearly a dozen cats for friends and through word-of-mouth, including a very senior chihuahua who was blind and deaf and needed diapers changed. I always had cats and dogs around growing up, including two difficult dogs from shelters who had issues. I live with an energetic pit-lab mix, and my parents' three rescue cats are still my sweeties. In the past I volunteered at an animal shelter, helping to socialize cats and walk dogs. I hike every day if I can, so if your dog enjoys vigorous exercise on trails, I can provide that too! I'm an adjunct college professor and freelance writer, so my work is part-time or sporadic, with much of it being done at home. If I'm available, I'll have plenty of time to linger and give attention to your pets! I'll follow your lead on what situations you're comfortable with for your pet, in terms of where I bring your dog for a walk, how they interact with other animals and people, etc.
