About: I truly enjoy the opportunity to care for dogs of all ages and of all types. It’s not just a source of income, but something I truly enjoy. I frequently dog and house sit for family and friends, and look forward to doing the same for you. I currently have open availability to dedicate to taking care of your pups. I am happy to check in on them, take them for walks, make sure they are fed, provide overnight pet sitting (at your home). I had a pup of my own for fourteen years, but don’t have one at the moment. I look forward to the opportunity! I am available to walk, feed, and pet sit at your home. Long walks for exercise, spending time to be sure they are comfortable, whatever is required. I unfortunately do not have boarding at my home as the building I’ve lived in for nearly twenty years is designated a “historical landmark” and pets are prohibited.
About: Grew up around dogs, my family has always had one in our lives. Feel I have a special bond with dogs, big and small, and rarely do I experience coming across a dog that does not warm up to me. Experienced in all forms of taking care of dogs, from walking and feeding, to playing and living with, sitting for family and friends both in their home and ours. I work full time from home but have a lot of flexibility during the day. Early mornings and evenings can be accommodated with simple planning. My family currently has an older female beagle who is sweet as can be, and very lazy. She is not aggressive towards other dogs and is fine being around dogs. We have three little children who are completely accustomed to having dogs present, and love to help with feeding and play time. We live in a small house but could accommodate 1 dog for short stays if need be, preferably small-medium sized (less than 40lbs). We do not have a fenced-in yard but live near a dog park and excellent areas for walking.
“Colby took great care of our two dogs and our home while we were away. Both dogs got plenty of attention and exercise, especially our high-energy puppy. As a dog trainer, she was particularly attentive to supporting the puppy's needs and was careful to follow the same procedures that we use to be consistent with her training.”
“The best. We've had a number of folks house/pet sit in the past, but no one as engaged, down-to-earth, friendly, communicative, responsible, and just plain thoughtful as Anna. With her own dog along for the ride, Anna stayed with our dog and cat at the house here and took care of everything--not as a guest, but as we would have. Maybe better. (Okay, better.) In the end, really, leaving your pets in the care of another person isn't about the number of scoops of kibble or where the poop bags go. It's about trust. When we first met Anna, she immediately came across as a friend to trust. She of course proved herself in spades. We feel lucky to have found you! Thank you so much, Anna!”

“Alison did a great job with our two cats while we were away for a week. Very professional, understanding of feline behavior, and took the time to know them. We've asked her to come back & stay with Boo & Tyson when we do a short trip in September. I would recommend Alison to any pet parent.”

About: I've owned and taken care of dogs my entire life. I'm proud to be one of the first people friends and family call when a petsitter is needed. I love walking, and I love dogs. This seems like the perfect opportunity to exercise and get my animal fix! I'm currently working full-time Monday through Friday. I can do evening walks after 5:00 PM (as weather allows) and I can do weekends between 9:00 AM - 6 PM. My current apartment doesn't allow pets, but I can housesit on weekends or in the evenings if the location is somewhat close to my work in Waterbury. I'm a long-time vegetarian, and have always had an extra sensitive heart when it comes to animals. I think that earning an animal's trust is such a privilege and gift, and I honor that. I cannot house pets in my current apartment, but I will follow the guidance and knowledge of the owners in their homes and while on walks.
“Cheyenne did a great job watching our two small dogs in extremely cold and snowy weather. The dogs got their medications, meals and snacks. The dogs were calm and happy when we got home. She cleared a path for the girls to do their business and kept the house clean too. 10/10 highly recommend”

“We were so happy with Steph when she took care of our fur babies. She made sure they got lost of cuddles and care, especially for my dog who has quite a bit of anxiety. We highly recommend her and will use her again if we go out of town.”

About: As a former medical coordinator in mental health, busy coffee shop manager, mother to two adult boys and companion of a 14 year old dog, I can promise you your pet and home will be in loving hands. I have taken care of multiple friends pets over the years including one dog that was blind and another who had diabetes. You can be assured your pet will be taken care of with love and patience. My pup will stay home with his older brother while I pet sit. I do work 40 hours a week at a coffee shop in Waterbury, VT. If local, I can adjust my schedule as needed but will need a couple days where I will be gone about 8 hours or so. Love going for long walks in the morning and afternoon. In addition to loving going for walks, I've been able to follow specific requests that are more personalized for the pet and the homeowner. Whether that be specific times for walks, medications or unusual feeding routines I've got you covered.

“Elise watched our pack this weekend and did such a great job! Leading up to the weekend Elise was very proactive in getting information on them and asking important questions. We were kept up to date on a regular basis with pics!! This made for a stress free weekend and allowing us to enjoy the wedding out of town! Highly recommend!!”

“Taylor was a wonderful pet sitter! She was incredibly communicative before and during our time away and shared lots of daily updates. Our pets seemed immediately comfortable with her and she took great care of our space. We won't hesitate to book with Taylor again!”

“Molly was conscientious and very communicative. She followed our instructions for administering medication to our elderly dog Ben. Molly sent us photos of Ben while we were away. She left the house neat and clean.”

“Giuliana is an excellent dog and house sitter. She exceeds all expectations that I would have had for anyone taking care of our dogs. We actually could have a vacation and a rest away, without thinking about our animals, who seem to have had a blast without us. Giuliana cares deeply about the animals and will be a thoughtful, bright and very attentive caretaker of your dog(s).”

About: Growing up in rural Vermont, my household was equal parts animals and humans. From an early age, I learned the care and attention that goes into caring for pets from the time they are an energetic puppy to well into their silver years. I’m well equipped to handle potting training, medication feeding, and leash pulling. Fun fact! My first job was as a neighborhood dog walker and my catch phrase was “Lydia B walking” because my last name starts with a B! I'm currently a student and I'm most available during the mornings on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. Depending on the distance and public transit accessibility, I could be more available! When it comes to caring for other people’s pets, I treat every pet like they’re my own. Which means making sure they are happy, healthy, and safe even after walk time is over. I understand and fully respect that your pet is part of your home and as such, I will follow every aspect of your (and their) routine. In your home, I will make sure doors, gates, and crates are secure, and I always leave things just the way I found them (or better!). I love getting to know each pet’s unique personality, and I’ll keep you in the loop with plenty of updates, pics, and funny moments along the way. You can relax knowing your furry friend is in good hands—and probably having a blast.

“Steven is great! He’s friendly and our dogs couldn’t have been happier and more well taken care of when we got home. He was quick to take our sitting job in a pinch and we look forward to having him hang with our dogs again in the future!”

“Kelly is who you want to sit your pets and your house. She's so nice, so patient with all my communication, so responsive and responsible... It's obvious she loves animals, she immediately connected with my cat and my puppy, and they with her. And let me tell you, my puppy is not an easy dog to take care of right now. She's 16 weeks old and in full crazy teething, biting, nipping mode. It's definitely a challenge to be with this land shark. But Kelly handled her with grace. She also left our house spotless. I will definitely ask her to watch my babies again!”

“We have five animals (4 dogs and 1 cat) and we are always nervous every time we go out of town wondering if they are “too much” for whomever is staying with them. We didn’t have that with Wendy. She came over twice before the scheduled date in order to meet the gang and that really alleviated our fears. She sent photos daily at our request and the house was in perfect condition when we returned. We highly recommend Wendy!!”

About: I grew up on a farm around all kinds of animals, so caring for them has always been second nature to me. I’ve loved and cared for many dogs of all sizes and personalities, and I genuinely enjoy making animals feel safe, comfortable, and cared for. I have a flexible schedule as I am in between jobs right now and have plenty of availability for pet care, walks, check-ins, and overnight stays. I try to keep pets as comfortable and relaxed as possible by sticking closely to their normal routines. Whether I’m caring for pets in their home or mine, I make sure they get plenty of attention, exercise, play, affection, and a calm environment. I also understand how important communication is, so I like to keep owners updated with photos and check-ins while they’re away.
