House Sitting in Moscow

About: As a former medical coordinator in mental health, busy coffee shop manager, mother to two adult boys and companion of a 14 year old dog, I can promise you your pet and home will be in loving hands. I have taken care of multiple friends pets over the years including one dog that was blind and another who had diabetes. You can be assured your pet will be taken care of with love and patience. My pup will stay home with his older brother while I pet sit. I do work 40 hours a week at a coffee shop in Waterbury, VT. If local, I can adjust my schedule as needed but will need a couple days where I will be gone about 8 hours or so. Love going for long walks in the morning and afternoon. In addition to loving going for walks, I've been able to follow specific requests that are more personalized for the pet and the homeowner. Whether that be specific times for walks, medications or unusual feeding routines I've got you covered.

“Giuliana took care of our beloved dog, Rabbit, and our home. Rabbit is not the coziest dog with folks except usually her Mom and Dad. However, Giuliana won over Rabbit's heart, and they became pals quickly. The house was immaculate when we returned and Rabbit was taken on lots of walks and seemed very happy. About: We are Isa and Billy - newly weds living in Hershey who love adventures! We had dogs and cats in our lives since about 5 years old! We both grew up with multiple dogs (mostly labs) we now have a rescue of our own named Calla! She is a love bug who just wants to play and cuddle! We love training dogs and teaching them new tricks, we have experience with puppies and dogs in heat. If you want a loving couple who works from home to be with your pet while you are away, we are happy to help and take them on adventures! We go on dog walks 2-3 times per day, we also go for hikes or kayak rides on the weekends. We love taking our pup to the dog park too (only during off hours when there are max 2-3 dogs in the park) We have loads of beds and toys for pups to play with and be cozy in! We can feed and provide treats as often as you’d like since we work from home. We can provide baths, take dogs on runs, go swimming, etc! We have backgrounds in healthcare and can help with medicine administration and other medical pet needs.

“Our boys—our whippet Franky and our elderly cat Stieg—were in excellent hands with Anna for a 2nd time. Anna worked from home, from our home, so they had almost constant companionship. They both have idiosyncratic feeding needs, and Stieg gets a pill morning and night. None of this seems to be a challenge for Anna. And she also took great care of our home, leaving it at least as clean as we left it for her. We are very grateful for her services and care.”

I am happy to check in on them, take them for walks, make sure they are fed, provide overnight pet sitting (at your home). I had a pup of my own for fourteen years, but don’t have one at the moment. I look forward to the opportunity! I am available to walk, feed, and pet sit at your home. Long walks for exercise, spending time to be sure they are comfortable, whatever is required. I unfortunately do not have boarding at my home as the building I’ve lived in for nearly twenty years is designated a “historical landmark” and pets are prohibited.

About: I've owned and taken care of dogs my entire life. I'm proud to be one of the first people friends and family call when a petsitter is needed. I love walking, and I love dogs. This seems like the perfect opportunity to exercise and get my animal fix! I'm currently working full-time Monday through Friday. I can do evening walks after 5:00 PM (as weather allows) and I can do weekends between 9:00 AM - 6 PM. My current apartment doesn't allow pets, but I can housesit on weekends or in the evenings if the location is somewhat close to my work in Waterbury. I'm a long-time vegetarian, and have always had an extra sensitive heart when it comes to animals. I think that earning an animal's trust is such a privilege and gift, and I honor that. I cannot house pets in my current apartment, but I will follow the guidance and knowledge of the owners in their homes and while on walks.

She came over twice before the scheduled date in order to meet the gang and that really alleviated our fears. She sent photos daily at our request and the house was in perfect condition when we returned. We highly recommend Wendy!!”

I’ve loved and cared for many dogs of all sizes and personalities, and I genuinely enjoy making animals feel safe, comfortable, and cared for. I have a flexible schedule as I am in between jobs right now and have plenty of availability for pet care, walks, check-ins, and overnight stays. I try to keep pets as comfortable and relaxed as possible by sticking closely to their normal routines. We got our 3 year old shih tzu, Hermie, 10 months ago. We were nervous to leave him in an out of state, unfamiliar hotel room with a total stranger. Kim, surpassed our expectations, squashing our anxiety of leaving Hermie in our hotel room with her while keeping Hermie safe, busy, calm and happy till mommy and daddy got back.
