House Sitting in Morrisville

About: I have been fortunate enough to have grown up with dogs and then continue to own dogs for my entire life. While growing up we owned big dogs, little dogs, smart dogs, goofy dogs and everything in between. When I had a farm and family I continued the tradition of having all types, sizes and temperaments of dogs. I have been solely responsible for training, care and loving all these pups. To say I have learned a lot the old fashioned way would be an understatement. Currently,,I own six Australian Shepherds. I started a very small but very responsible breeding program in 2020. I would have one litter a year by different moms. After a lot of research and talking to different rescues I learned how this particular breed is very misunderstood and end up abandoned or turned over to shelters. I then immediately came to the conclusion I did not want to add to this situation but wanted to be part of the solution. I then turned my sights to rescuing. This has become my passion and I am still helping out Australian Shepherds Furever rescue 3 years later. I have raised pups for them and took the mothers as well. I have personally interviewed and filtered through possible adopters for the pups and the mothers when they were ready. I trained all of our puppies and continue the training processes with the fosters. I have also done some competing with my Aussies and have gained achievement rewards with them. I have a love and passion for all animals and respect each animal individually. Each one is different and learn, trust and love differently. It's this understanding that separates me from other individuals. I currently have 6 Aussies, three cats and all kinds of farm animals. My focus is mostly with the cats and dogs. I do work a full time job but when I'm at home I'm rotating dogs so each one can get the love, attention, stimulation and focus that they deserve. I am always working on training, repetition, and a schedule so days and nights run smoothly in the home. Every dog and cat gets the time and love that they deserve and seek. I'm looking to fill weekends currently and if it's close by I could pull off a week here and there to spend time with other's pets. During these times my other half is home and can show them the attention they need. We won't tell my other half but they enjoy mom time better... Wink wink While in a clients home and taking care of the clients fur babies I will keep the same schedule and routine that those fur babies are already use to. Additionally, if they need to be medicated I will follow those guidelines as well as any outdoor or exercise guidelines. The last thing that I want to do is upset those fur babies anymore than they may already be because mom and dad are gone. My goal is for those fur babies to become part of my large family of fur babies and except me as one of their own. HopefullyI will be liked and utilized enough by your family that me being there is like part of the family visiting.

He provides informative and entertaining updates and we come home to a relaxed and content dog who is happy to see us but disappointed when Chad leaves.”

About: I truly enjoy the opportunity to care for dogs of all ages and of all types. It’s not just a source of income, but something I truly enjoy. I frequently dog and house sit for family and friends, and look forward to doing the same for you. I currently have open availability to dedicate to taking care of your pups. I am happy to check in on them, take them for walks, make sure they are fed, provide overnight pet sitting (at your home). I had a pup of my own for fourteen years, but don’t have one at the moment. I look forward to the opportunity! I am available to walk, feed, and pet sit at your home. Long walks for exercise, spending time to be sure they are comfortable, whatever is required. I unfortunately do not have boarding at my home as the building I’ve lived in for nearly twenty years is designated a “historical landmark” and pets are prohibited.

About: I’ve been around dogs and cats my whole life! I currently have 2 cat of my own. I’m the go-to dog sitter for my entire family. Between my siblings and I, we have 7 cats and 2 dogs! I’m a local teacher with a lot of free time in the summer. I’ll take your dog on long walks or cuddle with your cats if needed! I am a local teacher and have the summers off. I’m out of school most days around 3pm. Perfect for an afternoon walk! My availability is flexible! My cats enjoy a quiet and cozy living space. My services include drop-ins or dog walking. The more I see your pet, the better chance we have at building a trusting relationship!

About: Growing up in rural Vermont, my household was equal parts animals and humans. From an early age, I learned the care and attention that goes into caring for pets from the time they are an energetic puppy to well into their silver years. I’m well equipped to handle potting training, medication feeding, and leash pulling. Fun fact! My first job was as a neighborhood dog walker and my catch phrase was “Lydia B walking” because my last name starts with a B! I'm currently a student and I'm most available during the mornings on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. Depending on the distance and public transit accessibility, I could be more available! When it comes to caring for other people’s pets, I treat every pet like they’re my own. Which means making sure they are happy, healthy, and safe even after walk time is over. I understand and fully respect that your pet is part of your home and as such, I will follow every aspect of your (and their) routine. In your home, I will make sure doors, gates, and crates are secure, and I always leave things just the way I found them (or better!). I love getting to know each pet’s unique personality, and I’ll keep you in the loop with plenty of updates, pics, and funny moments along the way. You can relax knowing your furry friend is in good hands—and probably having a blast.

He kept us up-to-date on how she was doing, shared pictures, and made her as comfortable as possible while we were away. He was incredibly communicative prior to the booking, even offering suggestions of places to visit. And after the pet sitting service he loaned us ice spikes for a winter hike. Super nice guy. About: I’ve taken care of animals my whole life. I value the love you give to your babies, so I strive to do the same! I have taken care of a variety of animals and care for them as my own. I am experienced in administer medication and maintain a similar schedule to what you have. Research shows animals have less anxiety staying in their environment when owners are away. I strive to maintain that when you’re gone I work from home part of the time and travel the NEK the other part. I’m a social worker for my regular job but I am flexible with my schedule. I have days off on Sundays and Mondays to help with that. I follow as close to their normal schedule as you do. It helps with their anxiety and transition. If you walk them in the mornings, I will do the same. I prefer to watch animals in their home to make them more comfortable.

“We booked Whitney as we were traveling out of state for a wedding and the hotel did not allow dogs to be left unattended. This was the first time we’ve used a service like Rover and left our furbaby Wendy with someone who was not a family member. Whitney put us at ease and Wendy immediately took to her and her daughter. Whitney and her daughter were fantastic with our little girl Wendy! They listened to our concerns and followed our care instructions for Wendy. Whitney was so flexible and accommodating as she watched our furbaby in our hotel room as we were at family events for 2 days. She was in constant contact with us and sent pictures whenever we requested and often time she sent on her own. We plan on visiting Vermont in the future and using Whitney again. We would highly recommend Whitney if you’re in the area!”

About: I have taken care of my family and friend’s dogs for years. I just found out about Rover from a friend who’s been on Rover for some time and she’s told me just how fun and rewarding it is, so I am giving it a go! I have a Yellow Lab of my own “Jader” who loves going for hikes and swimming in my pond. Currently I am very flexible and would be able to provide walks, pet sitting, and potentially be willing to board on a case by case basis. I look forward to where this Rover journey takes me! At the time I am in flight school which is part time and I have quite a bit of flexibility. So days and evenings are doable. I live on a 100 acre horse farm at the end of quiet dirt road so there is very little traffic. When you come by for the first time you will think this is doggy heaven. My Lab Jader is very easy going and gets along with most dogs. Of course before entertaining any boarding I would have to see how Jader gets along with your dog. Other than that I am used to walking and hiking in public areas so walking the rec path or going up the Pinnacle would not be an issue.

About: I love dogs, and love to be around them! I can provide dog walking, doggie playtime, take them to the dog park for you, feed them, or just give them lots of snuggles! I have had pets all my life, and dogs for most of that. I used to own my own petsitting business, and loved every minute of it. I am very trustworthy and responsible. I specialize in small dogs, especially dachshunds, but all dogs are amazing and are welcome! I try my best to accomodate everyone! I am self employed so very flexible! I will also come care for your feline companions if needed! hope to hear from you and I can't wait to help you and your canine family! Thank you in advance for your business! Unfortunately I cannot host as my landlord doesn't allow pets (Cara is an exception). Keep in mind that during house sitting <especially 24 hr house suits> I will need to bring Cara with me. She LOVES other dogs so that is not an issue at all! I am available anytime to watch your furry companions! I work for myself so I am extremely flexible! I can't wait to meet your babies! Unfortunately, other than Cara, my landlord has a no pets policy so I cannot host. We can go for car rides though, or to the park, or a nice long walk!

About: I promise to keep your fur baby safe and happy as can be while you're away. I will provide playtime, walks, cuddles and a lot of attention. I am very interactive and not afraid to be goofy in order to make a genuine connection with your pet. Don't be afraid to leave me detailed instructions- I get it and have fur and feathered babies of my own! I am able to walk up to 2 to 3 big dogs at a time and feel confident in my abilities to give commands and appropriate rewards/disciplines. If your pet(s) gets dirty, I will bathe them as well as clean up any messes that occur. I also will keep your home sweet home neat and tidy so you never come home to a mess. I have grown up with pets and have always owned one or two.. okay, maybe 3 at a time. I make genuine connections with animals (wild ones, too) and would love to give them the opportunity to get outside all season long (even in the winter).
