About: I have three dogs, have always loved to take care of dogs and am always helping friends and families with their dogs. I love to take animals on outdoor adventures with me such as hikes or runs!! I am studying for a nursing exam and have ample time work in spending time with animals around studying. I am open to work around any schedule I am needed for. I have had do all the aspects of animal care, have gone on vet trips, cleaned up messes and all the basic walking, feeding and baths a pet might need.

About: I’ve spent a lot of time doing long term dogsitting as well as drop in feeding/walks. I have experience with puppies, seniors, and everything in between! I’ll be your dog’s new best friend! I work part time Sunday - Tuesday so I am usually available for sitting or drop in visits Wednesday - Friday, as my schedule allows. For overnight and day care for dogs I am available to travel to your home to sit for your pets. For walks I can travel to your home and walk them around your area, or I can pick your pup up and bring them on a hike or trail walk!

About: Growing up in rural Vermont, my household was equal parts animals and humans. From an early age, I learned the care and attention that goes into caring for pets from the time they are an energetic puppy to well into their silver years. I’m well equipped to handle potting training, medication feeding, and leash pulling. Fun fact! My first job was as a neighborhood dog walker and my catch phrase was “Lydia B walking” because my last name starts with a B! I'm currently a student and I'm most available during the mornings on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. Depending on the distance and public transit accessibility, I could be more available! When it comes to caring for other people’s pets, I treat every pet like they’re my own. Which means making sure they are happy, healthy, and safe even after walk time is over. I understand and fully respect that your pet is part of your home and as such, I will follow every aspect of your (and their) routine. In your home, I will make sure doors, gates, and crates are secure, and I always leave things just the way I found them (or better!). I love getting to know each pet’s unique personality, and I’ll keep you in the loop with plenty of updates, pics, and funny moments along the way. You can relax knowing your furry friend is in good hands—and probably having a blast.

This was the first time we’ve used a service like Rover and left our furbaby Wendy with someone who was not a family member. Whitney put us at ease and Wendy immediately took to her and her daughter. Whitney and her daughter were fantastic with our little girl Wendy! They listened to our concerns and followed our care instructions for Wendy. Whitney was so flexible and accommodating as she watched our furbaby in our hotel room as we were at family events for 2 days. She was in constant contact with us and sent pictures whenever we requested and often time she sent on her own. We plan on visiting Vermont in the future and using Whitney again. “Kassandra went above and beyond for us and our pups!! Our flight coming back home was cancelled and Kassandra was awesome enough to stay another night with less than 24 hours notice. Upon getting home, we could tell the animals were all well taken care of and they were very happy. Our home was in spectacular order and it was clear she was very respectful of our space. Kassandra’s response time was quick and she sent plenty of pictures! We truly can’t thank Kassandra enough for helping us out in a pinch and taking the best care of our animals and home. “Anna was AMAZING! First time we’ve met her or worked with her, but we would now HIGHLY recommend her! She is a great communicator. She took our 1.5 year old pup on many adventures (walks around pond, in the woods, etc.)—even more than we usually can! She pilled and cared for our elderly cat like a pro. Both our boys were happy and healthy after her 8 days with them. But the cherry on top was how clean and tidy and well cared for she left our home! Floors vacuumed, sink scrubbed, towels and sheets (and even bathmats) washed/changed. We look forward to having Anna housesit for us again!!!”

About: Hello! I’m Katie and I’m the woman petting the dog instead of socializing at the party. My fiancé Jonny and I relocated back to Lamoille county a few years ago and we’d love to watch your dog! We currently have a senior chihuahua foster fail named Pig. Before leaving Philly, Jonny worked for Happy Tails of Philly as a sitter & walker for 8 years. I was formerly the GM and Boarding Coordinator for a chain of dog daycares in Philadelphia, working for them for 4 years-so it’s safe to say we are well versed with canines! I was a foster parent with City of Elderly Love in Philly and hope to foster again now that I’ve relocated to Vermont. All of our dog experience can guarantee that not only is your dog going to be safe and comfortable with us, but will have as much fun possible! Whether that’s playing fetch in the yard, going for a walk or lounging on the couch, we are happy as long as the dogs around us are! Since becoming a foster parents to seniors dogs years ago, we have gained much knowledge and experience with special needs and administering different types of medications. I have a part time job but Jonny will be home full time for the pups with separation anxiety. If you board with us, our place will be your dog’s home away from home. 💕 Dogs staying with us will never be left outside unattended and will always be leashed.
