About: I’ve spent a lot of time doing long term dogsitting as well as drop in feeding/walks. I have experience with puppies, seniors, and everything in between! I’ll be your dog’s new best friend! I work part time Monday - Thursday so I am usually available for sitting or drop in visits Friday - Sunday, as my schedule allows. For overnight and day care for dogs I am available to travel to your home to sit for your pets. For walks I can travel to your home and walk them around your area, or I can pick your pup up and bring them on a hike or trail walk!
About: My family and I are pet lovers and have 2 of our own. We live in the outskirts of town in a quiet old farm house with a backyard so plenty of space for activities. Walking, hiking, and fetch are our favorites. I have done house/ dog sitting for many friends and people in the past and now that my daughter is older I would love to get back to it. During your pet's stay, we will go for many walks as well as hikes on any of the surrounding trails. We live very close to the Rail Trail, our pup loves going for walks and jogs there. We have a nice backyard for outdoor play, we, unfortunately, do not have a fenced-in yard. Weekends are completely free for me, that's when I get free time to do fun outdoor activities with my daughter and our pup. Your fur baby will have 100% of my attention on weekends, During the week I have a full-time M-F job fairly close to home. I hope you consider our family for your fur babies' stay! About: Dogs have always been a huge part of my life, and working with them brings me a real sense of purpose and joy. I’m a certified positive reinforcement dog trainer with over a decade of hands-on experience, including ten years focused specifically on training. Over the years, I’ve worked in boarding facilities, daycares, shelters, and with rescue groups—giving me the chance to work with all kinds of dogs, from the tiniest pups to big goofballs, each with their own quirks and personalities. For nearly ten years, I’ve served as the lead daycare attendant and trainer at a local dog daycare, helping dogs learn, grow, and have fun in a safe, structured environment. I’m certified in pet first aid and have built strong working relationships with local animal hospitals and rescue organizations. I’ve also completed specialized courses in training shelter dogs and teaching private lessons. I love getting outside with dogs—whether it’s a long walk on the trail, a fun game of fetch, or some playful training that builds confidence and good habits. I’m happy to provide references from past clients, coworkers, and employers who can speak to the care and attention I bring to every dog I work with. Thanks so much for considering me—I’d love to meet you and your pup! I proudly serve the Lamoille County area and am available 7 days a week, 365 days a year, based on availability. Whether it’s a weekend getaway or a holiday trip, I’m here to help when you need dependable care for your pets. While I don’t have a fenced-in yard, I do have access to a few quiet, safe dog parks that are perfect for playtime and structured walks. For safety, all dogs wear secure harnesses when leaving the apartment—no collar slips on my watch! I also use a doggie seatbelt anytime we travel by car, because your pet’s safety is always my top priority. When your dog stays with me, I kindly ask that feeding and medication instructions be legible (typed is preferred) to make sure nothing gets missed. For overnight house sitting, I appreciate detailed, easy-to-read instructions about your pet’s routine and where to find supplies like food, medications, cleaning, and anything else I’ll need to keep your home running smoothly. Your pet's care is always personalized, and clear instructions help me provide the same love and structure they’re used to at home!
About: My schedule is flexible so I'm able to spend time throughout the day with your fur baby. I'm active and happy to play fetch for hours! I like to take puppers for multiple walks and give lots of love and pets. The clients I sit for like the fact they can contact me last minute and I'm generally able to adjust my schedule to be available. My schedule changes from week to week but feel free to contact me to double check my availability no matter the season! I like when clients leave me detailed instructions on what their pets normal schedules are, that way there's less stress put on myself and on your fur friend! I'm able to work from home most days of the week, this allows me to be available for all pet needs - morning, lunch time, and after work walks are a part of my daily schedule when we have a dog to take care of. Lots of mental stimulation and training exercises throughout the day to keep them out of trouble helps too! I have a 9 year old cat in the house that tends to keep to herself in the bedroom when there's a dog around. Our home is on 5 acres of land with a big yard to do lots of sniffing around. I'm also located right on the rail trail for longer walks and adventures!
“Nicole is simply amazing. This was my first time ever using Rover and we got so lucky finding Nicole. My dog is very nervous around new people, and she did an amazing job respecting her boundaries and was so patient with her. Will definitely book with her again and recommend her to everyone!”

About: Hello! I’m Katie and I’m the woman petting the dog instead of socializing at the party. My fiancé Jonny and I just relocated back to Lamoille county and we’d love to watch your dog! Aside from having our own (a dachshund named Klaus, a chihuahua foster fail named Pig and two cats, Fats and Carl) for last nine years we have boarded dogs in our home. Before leaving Philly, Jonny worked for Happy Tails of Philly as a sitter & walker for 8 years. I was formerly the GM and Boarding Coordinator for a chain of dog daycares in Philadelphia, working for them for 4 years-so it’s safe to say we are well versed with canines! I was a foster parent with City of Elderly Love in Philly and hope to foster again now that I’ve relocated to Vermont. All of our dog experience can guarantee that not only is your dog going to be safe and comfortable with us, but will have as much fun possible! Whether that’s playing fetch in the yard, going for a walk or lounging on the couch, we are happy as long as the dogs around us are! Since becoming a foster parents to seniors dogs years ago, we have gained much knowledge and experience with special needs and administering different types of medications. I have a part time job but Jonny will be home full time for the pups with separation anxiety. If you board with us, our place will be your dog’s home away from home. 💕 I’m currently working part time but Jonny is working from home so you never have to worry about your pup being left unattended in a new place! Dogs staying with us will never be left outside unattended and will always be leashed. We do have crates for crate trained dogs. All dogs we watch must be dog and cat friendly. We are currently staying with my parents and they have chickens on the property but they are separated by a fence.

“Tania was awesome - I am a nervous wreck when I leave town for business, and she immediately made those nerves disappear. I got frequent communications, pics and comments that made me feel much better. My dog loves her and is maybe even a bit sad that I am home and he's back to his old routine. Will definitely book with her again.”
About: Hi, I’m Jess, I’ve had animals my entire life, currently have 2 pups of my own. I also have worked at an animal shelter for over 12 years, which included kennel care, dogs walks from puppy, easy walkers to harder walker that needed extra guidance. Also included socializing the dogs from super shy ones to clingy out going ones. Also have cat experience from shy timmed cats to also clingy out going ones. Have experience with having to give pets meds and recovery times if needed. I enjoy talking my pups for walks, hikes and play times, Hi, I’m currently a stay at home mom to my daughter who would need to come with me time to time. I would be able to do drop in visits or walks with your pets including photos and updates while we are there. I have a fenced yard for my pups, go on daily walks. And weekly hikes. Tons of love snuggles and playtime for them. I would make sure they get everything they needed rather it’s snuggling or getting the playtime zoomies out.
About: Hi, my name is Sam and I have over 10 years of experience pet sitting! I mostly pet sit for dogs and cats of many backgrounds - fostered kittens and retired race greyhounds, energetic dogs to elderly dogs and cats. I have experience administering medications and shots for diabetic dogs. I worked seasonly on a farm for 4 years in Vermont and I fed/cared for chickens and alpacas on the field. I also have experience caring for reptiles - I had a gecko and amphibians for 17 years. I have a very flexible schedule as of right now, so my schedule will most likely fit your pets needs! On weekends, I am more flexible about timing. I am a big outdoor enthusiast - mountain biker, skier, hiker. If you need a dog walker or sitter, I would love for your dog to come join in on the fun! I can walk your pet outside in the neighborhood if you just need a drop in. If you have a routine for your pet/s, I am happy to stick with that to help them feel comfortable and at home. If you need help with overnights, I am happy to discuss the length of days needed. I will send photos and videos while you are away!
About: I promise to keep your fur baby safe and happy as can be while you're away. I will provide playtime, walks, cuddles and a lot of attention. I am very interactive and not afraid to be goofy in order to make a genuine connection with your pet. Don't be afraid to leave me detailed instructions- I get it and have fur and feathered babies of my own! I am able to walk up to 2 to 3 big dogs at a time and feel confident in my abilities to give commands and appropriate rewards/disciplines. If your pet(s) gets dirty, I will bathe them as well as clean up any messes that occur. I also will keep your home sweet home neat and tidy so you never come home to a mess. I have grown up with pets and have always owned one or two.. okay, maybe 3 at a time. I make genuine connections with animals (wild ones, too) and would love to give them the opportunity to get outside all season long (even in the winter). If your pet would like an adventure buddy and companion who will distract them from your absence then give me a shout. Feel free to contact me with questions and concerns. I would be more than happy to chat with you!
“Fantastic, 10/10! Thank you! We reached out to Alaysha & Alexander super last minute when a family emergency required us to leave town for the day, and they responded promptly, and were able to take our dog for a lovely-seeming hour long walk. Would definitely recommend, hope we can use them again in the future!”

About: I have owned or cared for guinea pigs, rabbits, dogs, cats, ducks, baby chicks, and even a tortoise since the age of 11. I currently own 2 cats and have experience caring for and administering medicine to sick and/or elderly pets. I am considerate of individual animal’s boundaries and their unique needs. I typically have availability Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays but I have some flexibility on my off days. Reach out and I’ll see if I can make things work. I have lots of experience petsitting animals of very different personalities and needs. I am most familiar with cats and dogs. I am very communicative and follow instructions of the pet owner well.
“Giuliana was wonderful with our dog Pip! Very communicative and took great care of our senior dog. Took her on a wonderful hour long walk and she was very happy when we got home. Definitely recommend!”

About: I’ve had dogs in my family my whole life. I have a weiner dog named Vinny that I adore. I jump at all opportunities to dog sit for friends and family. I am a mom looking for extra income to better support my growing family. I am open to any opportunities, and look forward to hearing from you! I will show your furry family members nothing but love! I love going on walks, so It would be nice to have a walking buddy!
About: I have taken care of my family and friend’s dogs for years. I just found out about Rover from a friend who’s been on Rover for some time and she’s told me just how fun and rewarding it is, so I am giving it a go! I have a Yellow Lab of my own “Jader” who loves going for hikes and swimming in my pond. Currently I am very flexible and would be able to provide walks, pet sitting, and potentially be willing to board on a case by case basis. I look forward to where this Rover journey takes me! At the time I am in flight school which is part time and I have quite a bit of flexibility. So days and evenings are doable. I live on a 100 acre horse farm at the end of quiet dirt road so there is very little traffic. When you come by for the first time you will think this is doggy heaven. My Lab Jader is very easy going and gets along with most dogs. Of course before entertaining any boarding I would have to see how Jader gets along with your dog. Other than that I am used to walking and hiking in public areas so walking the rec path or going up the Pinnacle would not be an issue.
