I've been an animal lover and taken care of pets my whole life! Growing up, we had the sweetest yellow lab named Pete. Now, my partner and I adopt old pets and care for them during their retirement. I love animals and will care for your pets as if they were my own. ****** PLEASE NOTE ****** that we have two dogs (an elderly deaf pug named Alice, and a senior terrier mix named Edie) and one cat. Our pets are friendly towards other dogs, cats, and people who come to visit/ stay with us. Please let me know if you have any concerns about your pet staying with our pets, or if they don't have experience with cats. We can discuss and ensure it'll be a good mutual fit.

Rebecca was a godsend in a pinch (wedding in the area, learned last minute our Airbnb was not pet friendly). Did not hesitate for a minute at taking on our active and kooky husky mix, sent constant updates - clearly he was loved like a member of the household and so happy in her care. We are grateful our dog agreed to leave on pickup 😂 and we wouldn’t hesitate to refer Rebecca let alone to place our dog with her again. Thank you Rebecca!!!

Programa
I am an educator at the local elementary school, and offer pet care services to neighbors and visitors to the area. My availability is generally flexible on the weekends, and can extend into the week on a case-by-case basis.

I generally offer 3-4 walks per day, including one longer adventure to mountain trails, or another nearby, dog friendly destination. I'm happy to bring your pup to any of their favorite spots (within reason). Of course, it goes without saying that pets are allowed on the furniture and more than welcome to snuggle in bed at night, also open to crating or any special care required.

Your pet would enjoy spending time and playing with our pets, playing outside in our fenced in yard, and going for walks on our quiet road. Depending on energy level we could do a longer walk or hike, or play games like fetch or tug-of-war. My goal is to ensure your pet has a lot of fun.
