About: I have been fortunate enough to have grown up with dogs and then continue to own dogs for my entire life. While growing up we owned big dogs, little dogs, smart dogs, goofy dogs and everything in between. When I had a farm and family I continued the tradition of having all types, sizes and temperaments of dogs. I have been solely responsible for training, care and loving all these pups. To say I have learned a lot the old fashioned way would be an understatement. Currently,,I own six Australian Shepherds. I started a very small but very responsible breeding program in 2020. I would have one litter a year by different moms. After a lot of research and talking to different rescues I learned how this particular breed is very misunderstood and end up abandoned or turned over to shelters. I then immediately came to the conclusion I did not want to add to this situation but wanted to be part of the solution. I then turned my sights to rescuing. This has become my passion and I am still helping out Australian Shepherds Furever rescue 3 years later. I have raised pups for them and took the mothers as well. I have personally interviewed and filtered through possible adopters for the pups and the mothers when they were ready. I trained all of our puppies and continue the training processes with the fosters. I have also done some competing with my Aussies and have gained achievement rewards with them. I have a love and passion for all animals and respect each animal individually. Each one is different and learn, trust and love differently. It's this understanding that separates me from other individuals. I currently have 6 Aussies, three cats and all kinds of farm animals. My focus is mostly with the cats and dogs. I do work a full time job but when I'm at home I'm rotating dogs so each one can get the love, attention, stimulation and focus that they deserve. I am always working on training, repetition, and a schedule so days and nights run smoothly in the home. Every dog and cat gets the time and love that they deserve and seek. I'm looking to fill weekends currently and if it's close by I could pull off a week here and there to spend time with other's pets. During these times my other half is home and can show them the attention they need. We won't tell my other half but they enjoy mom time better... Wink wink While in a clients home and taking care of the clients fur babies I will keep the same schedule and routine that those fur babies are already use to. Additionally, if they need to be medicated I will follow those guidelines as well as any outdoor or exercise guidelines. The last thing that I want to do is upset those fur babies anymore than they may already be because mom and dad are gone. My goal is for those fur babies to become part of my large family of fur babies and except me as one of their own. HopefullyI will be liked and utilized enough by your family that me being there is like part of the family visiting.

For safety, all dogs wear secure harnesses when leaving the apartment—no collar slips on my watch! I also use a doggie seatbelt anytime we travel by car, because your pet’s safety is always my top priority. When your dog stays with me, I kindly ask that feeding and medication instructions be legible (typed is preferred) to make sure nothing gets missed. For overnight house sitting, I appreciate detailed, easy-to-read instructions about your pet’s routine and where to find supplies like food, medications, cleaning, and anything else I’ll need to keep your home running smoothly. About: I’ve spent a lot of time doing long term dogsitting as well as drop in feeding/walks. I have experience with puppies, seniors, and everything in between! I’ll be your dog’s new best friend! I work part time Sunday - Tuesday so I am usually available for sitting or drop in visits Wednesday - Friday, as my schedule allows. For overnight and day care for dogs I am available to travel to your home to sit for your pets. For walks I can travel to your home and walk them around your area, or I can pick your pup up and bring them on a hike or trail walk!

About: My family and I are pet lovers and have 2 of our own. We live in the outskirts of town in a quiet old farm house with a backyard so plenty of space for activities. Walking, hiking, and fetch are our favorites. I have done house/ dog sitting for many friends and people in the past and now that my daughter is older I would love to get back to it. During your pet's stay, we will go for many walks as well as hikes on any of the surrounding trails. We live very close to the Rail Trail, our pup loves going for walks and jogs there. We have a nice backyard for outdoor play, we, unfortunately, do not have a fenced-in yard. Weekends are completely free for me, that's when I get free time to do fun outdoor activities with my daughter and our pup. Your fur baby will have 100% of my attention on weekends, During the week I have a full-time M-F job fairly close to home. I hope you consider our family for your fur babies' stay! About: My schedule is flexible so I'm able to spend time throughout the day with your fur baby. I'm active and happy to play fetch for hours! I like to take puppers for multiple walks and give lots of love and pets. The clients I sit for like the fact they can contact me last minute and I'm generally able to adjust my schedule to be available. My schedule changes from week to week but feel free to contact me to double check my availability no matter the season! I like when clients leave me detailed instructions on what their pets normal schedules are, that way there's less stress put on myself and on your fur friend! I'm able to work from home most days of the week, this allows me to be available for all pet needs - morning, lunch time, and after work walks are a part of my daily schedule when we have a dog to take care of. Lots of mental stimulation and training exercises throughout the day to keep them out of trouble helps too! I have a 9 year old cat in the house that tends to keep to herself in the bedroom when there's a dog around. Our home is on 5 acres of land with a big yard to do lots of sniffing around. I'm also located right on the rail trail for longer walks and adventures!

About: I promise to keep your fur baby safe and happy as can be while you're away. I will provide playtime, walks, cuddles and a lot of attention. I am very interactive and not afraid to be goofy in order to make a genuine connection with your pet. Don't be afraid to leave me detailed instructions- I get it and have fur and feathered babies of my own! I am able to walk up to 2 to 3 big dogs at a time and feel confident in my abilities to give commands and appropriate rewards/disciplines. If your pet(s) gets dirty, I will bathe them as well as clean up any messes that occur. I also will keep your home sweet home neat and tidy so you never come home to a mess. I have grown up with pets and have always owned one or two.. okay, maybe 3 at a time. I make genuine connections with animals (wild ones, too) and would love to give them the opportunity to get outside all season long (even in the winter). I also have worked at an animal shelter for over 12 years, which included kennel care, dogs walks from puppy, easy walkers to harder walker that needed extra guidance. Also included socializing the dogs from super shy ones to clingy out going ones. Also have cat experience from shy timmed cats to also clingy out going ones. Have experience with having to give pets meds and recovery times if needed. I would be able to do drop in visits or walks with your pets including photos and updates while we are there. I have a fenced yard for my pups, go on daily walks. And weekly hikes. About: I love dogs! I grew up with a little black poodle named Cherry who is 18 years old now and is featured here! I have been a dog walker for my neighbors whenever they needed in the past. Very comfortable with dogs of all sizes. I am a full time physical therapist/strength train consistently, so very comfortable handling bigger girls and boys. Please contact me if your dog needs a walk or you need to leave your furry friend with me while you go on vacation! I often start late or end early so can be quite flexible depending on your needs.
