About: I grew up with litters of German Shepherd puppies which sparked my lifelong love of animals. As adult, I raised and bred Labrador Retrievers. I now share my home with five cats, two Labs and six chickens. I'm also a proud grandparent to two wonderful grandchildren. Retired and living in Vermont. I'm recently retired and spending my time doing what I love most. Beling arond animals. I enjoy going on walks, playing and simply keeping pets company. If you ever need a little help with your furry friend whether it's a walk, some playtime, or just a visit while you're out. I can take them to the dog parks or to the waling paths.

About: I'm very experienced with high energy dogs as my previous dog was a Siberian Husky mix and my current dog, Korra, is pure Siberian Husky. Because of that I am very used to getting out and exploring as much as possible with either my dog or clients. Since my dog is not much of a toy dog I go on long walks or run with my her for her exercise and that is something I can offer to you as a client if you have a high energy dog or your dog is in need of a little weight loss. I also visit dog parks often to let my dog socialize and run around off leash as much as I can and is something I can provide for you as a client, given that your pet does well with car rides. My dog is on the older side now at 10 years and with that and my past experience in watching friends and family members pets, both puppy and elder dogs are welcome as well! Currently waiting to start my winter job at Stowe Ski Resort so I have complete open availability until that starts. Once that starts, I'll still have 3+ days a week for bookings on rover. I have a partially fenced in yard that my older husky does well to stay within the bounds but even when she doesn't she is well behaved and comes back or stops when called. While my dog can be off leash at times, I will never have a clients pet off leash while outside unless they are contained within a fenced in perimeter. I make sure to feed my dog well and don't over expose her with treats so as a client I will make sure your dog will be fed how you like it and won't overdo them with treats unless working on some form of training or playing.

About: I have taken care of my family and friend’s dogs for years. I just found out about Rover from a friend who’s been on Rover for some time and she’s told me just how fun and rewarding it is, so I am giving it a go! I have a Yellow Lab of my own “Jader” who loves going for hikes and swimming in my pond. Currently I am very flexible and would be able to provide walks, pet sitting, and potentially be willing to board on a case by case basis. I look forward to where this Rover journey takes me! At the time I am in flight school which is part time and I have quite a bit of flexibility. So days and evenings are doable. I live on a 100 acre horse farm at the end of quiet dirt road so there is very little traffic. When you come by for the first time you will think this is doggy heaven. My Lab Jader is very easy going and gets along with most dogs. Of course before entertaining any boarding I would have to see how Jader gets along with your dog. Other than that I am used to walking and hiking in public areas so walking the rec path or going up the Pinnacle would not be an issue.

About: My schedule is flexible so I'm able to spend time throughout the day with your fur baby. I'm active and happy to play fetch for hours! I like to take puppers for multiple walks and give lots of love and pets. The clients I sit for like the fact they can contact me last minute and I'm generally able to adjust my schedule to be available. My schedule changes from week to week but feel free to contact me to double check my availability no matter the season! I like when clients leave me detailed instructions on what their pets normal schedules are, that way there's less stress put on myself and on your fur friend! I'm able to work from home most days of the week, this allows me to be available for all pet needs - morning, lunch time, and after work walks are a part of my daily schedule when we have a dog to take care of. Lots of mental stimulation and training exercises throughout the day to keep them out of trouble helps too! I have a 9 year old cat in the house that tends to keep to herself in the bedroom when there's a dog around. Our home is on 5 acres of land with a big yard to do lots of sniffing around. I'm also located right on the rail trail for longer walks and adventures!

About: I have owned or cared for guinea pigs, rabbits, dogs, cats, ducks, baby chicks, and even a tortoise since the age of 11. I currently own 2 cats and have experience caring for and administering medicine to sick and/or elderly pets. I am considerate of individual animal’s boundaries and their unique needs. I typically have availability Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays but I have some flexibility on my off days. Reach out and I’ll see if I can make things work. I have lots of experience petsitting animals of very different personalities and needs. I am most familiar with cats and dogs. I am very communicative and follow instructions of the pet owner well.

About: Both dogs and cats have been in my life from a young age. Have previously walked and dog sat in Boston MA. Also had my own dog for 17 years until his recent passing. I am familiar with everything from energetic border collies to older dogs with medications and conditions. More than willing to hang with all dog types and breeds. I currently work making beer at the von Trapp brewery in Stowe, and live in Johnson. I can walk and visit during the late evening on weeknights, and can stop by any time on weekends with proper notice. In order for dogs - get home, bathroom time, play time, food time. Treats and love mandatory. For cats - definitely food first, check litter box, sit down and await their decision whether or not to sit on you.

About: I’ve spent a lot of time dog sitting and walking for friends and family. I have experience with puppies, seniors, and everything in between! I’ll be your dog’s new best friend! About: Hi, my name is Sam and I have over 10 years of experience pet sitting! I mostly pet sit for dogs and cats of many backgrounds - fostered kittens and retired race greyhounds, energetic dogs to elderly dogs and cats. I have experience administering medications and shots for diabetic dogs. I worked seasonly on a farm for 4 years in Vermont and I fed/cared for chickens and alpacas on the field. About: Hi, I’m Jess, I’ve had animals my entire life, currently have 2 pups of my own. I also have worked at an animal shelter for over 12 years, which included kennel care, dogs walks from puppy, easy walkers to harder walker that needed extra guidance. Also included socializing the dogs from super shy ones to clingy out going ones. Also have cat experience from shy timmed cats to also clingy out going ones. Have experience with having to give pets meds and recovery times if needed. I enjoy talking my pups for walks, hikes and play times, Hi, I’m currently a stay at home mom to my daughter who would need to come with me time to time. I would be able to do drop in visits or walks with your pets including photos and updates while we are there. I have a fenced yard for my pups, go on daily walks. And weekly hikes. Tons of love snuggles and playtime for them. I would make sure they get everything they needed rather it’s snuggling or getting the playtime zoomies out.

About: I promise to keep your fur baby safe and happy as can be while you're away. I will provide playtime, walks, cuddles and a lot of attention. I am very interactive and not afraid to be goofy in order to make a genuine connection with your pet. Don't be afraid to leave me detailed instructions- I get it and have fur and feathered babies of my own! I am able to walk up to 2 to 3 big dogs at a time and feel confident in my abilities to give commands and appropriate rewards/disciplines. If your pet(s) gets dirty, I will bathe them as well as clean up any messes that occur. I also will keep your home sweet home neat and tidy so you never come home to a mess. I have grown up with pets and have always owned one or two.. okay, maybe 3 at a time. I make genuine connections with animals (wild ones, too) and would love to give them the opportunity to get outside all season long (even in the winter). Walking, hiking, and fetch are our favorites. I have done house/ dog sitting for many friends and people in the past and now that my daughter is older I would love to get back to it. During your pet's stay, we will go for many walks as well as hikes on any of the surrounding trails. We live very close to the Rail Trail, our pup loves going for walks and jogs there. We have a nice backyard for outdoor play, we, unfortunately, do not have a fenced-in yard. Weekends are completely free for me, that's when I get free time to do fun outdoor activities with my daughter and our pup. Your fur baby will have 100% of my attention on weekends, During the week I have a full-time M-F job fairly close to home. I hope you consider our family for your fur babies' stay!
