âWe couldnât ask for a better experience with Chad. Our family stayed in Smugglersâ Notch/Stowe area and our resort (if you do timeshare, you understand) doesnât allow pets. We still wanted our dog close and finding Chad is awesome. He took the time to discuss ahead of boarding all necessary details about Pakun. He even asked for written notes and sent daily pictures and videos. We are kept updated especially with important details about our dogâs behavior. We could tell our Pakun was treated so well. Our English Springerâs hair was not tangled and he was clean when we picked him up. It is hard to believe since our dog has videos of walks, playing in the park and playdates with other dogs,he even did enrichment activities. Our dog is used to group boarding when we go on vacation, he usually comes back smelly and all tangled up. We are so pleased with our experience this time and we are so glad we brought him to have his own vacation with Chad.â

âRuby had the best time and was well taken care of during her 3 day stay with Barbara and Darryll! We got plenty of updates and it was so comforting knowing she was happy and safe so we could enjoy our vacation!â

About: I have taken care of my neighborâs dog and done many training classes with my golden, Fiona. I love letting them run around the local park and am capable of medicating. I have had puppy experience and have volunteered at the animal shelter for 13 years! I recently graduated college and am currently searching for a job. I am currently able to pet sit most days unless otherwise mentioned. I make sure my babies are happy and healthy! I have a fenced in yard for dogs, I also have a dog park nearby. My house is dog proofed and I have experience going to houses to pet sit as well. In the summer, I have a kiddy pool set up in the yard.
About: My schedule is flexible so I'm able to spend time throughout the day with your fur baby. I'm active and happy to play fetch for hours! I like to take puppers for multiple walks and give lots of love and pets. The clients I sit for like the fact they can contact me last minute and I'm generally able to adjust my schedule to be available. My schedule changes from week to week but feel free to contact me to double check my availability no matter the season! I like when clients leave me detailed instructions on what their pets normal schedules are, that way there's less stress put on myself and on your fur friend! I'm able to work from home most days of the week, this allows me to be available for all pet needs - morning, lunch time, and after work walks are a part of my daily schedule when we have a dog to take care of. Lots of mental stimulation and training exercises throughout the day to keep them out of trouble helps too! I have a 9 year old cat in the house that tends to keep to herself in the bedroom when there's a dog around. Our home is on 5 acres of land with a big yard to do lots of sniffing around. I'm also located right on the rail trail for longer walks and adventures!
âJulia was an excellent match for our two dogs for overnights. Large running and playing area and she took them for lots of walks. They obviously felt comfortable with her right away. Julia is an experienced dog professional and exudes the confidence and technique theater goes along with that. We will definitely call upon her again for dog care.â

âSonya is an absolute angel. She took exceptional care of our Tootsie, sent tons of adorable pictures, and truly went above and beyond. We could not be more grateful or recommend her more highly. Absolutely amazing!â

âJohn has been amazing. I was very nervous to leave my active, high-energy, anxious dog for a week but ended up feeling like she had the time of her life. She was SO happy with John. He provided frequent updates and photographs and gave her endless exercise and care. From the photos and her behavior afterwards, I can tell that she was so happy and well-cared for by John and his family. I would recommend him to anyone!â

âKevin is a trustworthy find. We left our young Pyredoodle with Kevin while we were abroad, confident our pooch was in good, capable, safe hands. Kevin and his Great Dane, Maki, very calm and easy-going, made perfect companions for our active 2-year-old doggie. When highways were closed due to an unforeseen norâeaster, Kevin without hesitation generously offered to keep Bentley on if necessary. We love that Kevin works at home so there would be someone with Bentley in a cozy, relaxed setting, a much better alternative to boarding at a kennel, especially for a social family dog like ours who needs regular loving human interaction. We would gladly call on Kevin again.â

âAllie watched our dog Cedar for an extended period while we were away on vacation. Allie is incredibly attentive and caring. From the very first meet & greet she was so kind and thoughtful, wanting to ensure the best stay for Cedar. During Cedar's stay I know she went out of her way to make him as comfortable as possible, and also sent frequent updates to us which was really sweet. Allies dogs, Biscuit and Livvy, are also wonderful and the sweetest playmates. We would absolutely book with Allie again. She was a home away from home for Cedar!â

About: I have had dogs my whole life and have taken care of a variety of dogs since I was young, including puppies and senior dogs. I also have raised goats and chickens for years. I have a large fenced in yard for plenty of outdoor playtime and access to acres of wooded trails outside my backyard. I love hiking with dogs as well as playing outside. I treat each dog like a member of my family when they stay with me ensuring they are comfortable, loved, and getting their needs met. I look forward to getting to know your dog. I am available for boarding on the weekends and will customize the care to fit the need of your dog and take the lead from the owner. I have a fully fenced in yard for dogs to safely run around. I follow clear expectations provided by the owner and individualize care to the needs of each dog ensuring they are safe, happy, and comfortable.
About: I've been taking care of pets for two decades and will love them like I love my own. I believe the best way to teach a dog is positive reinforcement and will work with whatever routines you have established with your furry family member. I work from home 3 days per week and the days are flexible except Thursday when I have to be at my office in Montpelier. I can go home on my lunch breaks for walks on the days I'm in the office (and you're close to Montpelier) and can work from your home if I'm housesitting and you have internet. As a gal in her 40s I'm pretty low key and will be very happy spending my time with your pet in your home or taking them on adventures if that's what they prefer. I love hiking and walks and have lots of friends with dogs if socialization is something you'd like for your pup.
âWe were so happy to find someone who is fear free certified & uses positive reinforcement and were thrilled when Maria let us know she was available to watch our 7 month old puppy on short notice. Our puppy had never been alone or away from us so we were very nervous but when we arrived at Mariaâs home, we were put at ease when she let him approach her vs. coming over to greet him as he can be a bit shy at first. Our pup took to Maria fairly quickly and once we went inside, Maria introduced her dog Lalo. Lalo was very sweet and so patient with our pup who was extremely excited to have a friend to play with. We were worried our pup would have a hard time with us leaving but we were actually able to sneak out the door/leave while our pup played with Lalo! Our pup is a high energy breed and Maria made sure he got both physical and mental stimulation by bringing him on several walks and offering a Kong. He slept almost the whole 3 hour drive home! We received our first update from Maria shortly after we dropped off our pup and she continued to send frequent updates and texted back very quickly - again putting our worries at ease! We would absolutely recommend Maria and if we are ever in the area again, utilize her services!â

âShannon was great sitting my dog and cat as always! They both seem to enjoy staying with her very much, and get enough walks and attention that they don't mind when I have to leave them!â

âRebecca was a godsend in a pinch (wedding in the area, learned last minute our Airbnb was not pet friendly). Did not hesitate for a minute at taking on our active and kooky husky mix, sent constant updates - clearly he was loved like a member of the household and so happy in her care. We are grateful our dog agreed to leave on pickup đ and we wouldnât hesitate to refer Rebecca let alone to place our dog with her again. Thank you Rebecca!!!â

âOur dog, Baker, has stayed with Piper multiple times and always has the best time. Piper gives him so much outside time and is really in tune with Bakerâs needs. I also love that Piper gives us lots of daily updates and photos. Piper is our most trusted dogsitter and I never hesitate to see if sheâs available when we need to travel!â

âWe had a wonderful experience with Danielle caring for Leo our Maltipoo recently. So good in fact that we quickly rebooked her for three nights in August. Leo took to Danielle and AJ instantly and during Leoâs stay Danielle sent us photos and updates. In addition to staying in her lovely home Leo got plenty of exercise with long walks in the neighborhood. Danielle and AJ are calm and pleasant people who genuinely enjoy caring for others' pets.â

âSarah was as fabulous as all of the reviews I read said! Her home and property are so welcoming and every dog's dream: Plenty of room to play! Sarah is kind and really seems to love dogs, and she gives lots of attention. My Walter immediately went to bed as soon as I picked him up from his two nights there, he was so tired from all of the fun! I especially loved the photos Sarah shared with me of their morning walk- it was nice to see Walt enjoying himself. I can't recommend Sarah highly enough!â

Kim was an amazing dog boarder for us. We had a family emergency that surprised us and she was available and willing to care for our dogfor an extended amount of time with almost zero notice. Her communication was fantastic, and we know that our dog had the best time playing at Kimâs, and with her dog as well. We are so grateful to have found Kim through here as she was a true life saver for us. Would highly recommend her for dog boarding/sitting!
