“My first experience with Rover with John was unbelievably perfect. John sent pictures and videos, gave exercise to my puppy for two days of daycare, and both days Honey came back exhausted and happy! John’s family helped to keep an eye on Honey too, while the pups were a perfect match for her. I HIGHLY recommend john to anyone who needs help watching their dog!”

“Our 6 year old GSD, Flynn, has been with Chad since he was 4 months old. Up until a few months ago in a doggie day care, and now spending 2 days a week with him in a more 1:1 setting. Chad's calm, nurturing demeanor and unwavering patience and consistency with our often anxious and always energetic guy makes such a huge different for our family. Flynn's 2 days a week with Chad mean that he is a calmer, happier, less anxious dog at home. All of this being said, I think the biggest recommendation that we could give would be that whether it was at day care drop off or Chad pulling into our driveway for a visit, Flynn can never get to Chad fast enough. For us- that says it all!”

About: I'm someone who enjoys being around dogs and I love being able to make them happy. I have experience owning large and small dogs. I make sure to get them the exercise, play, and attention they need (and deserve)! I currently work from home and have availability during the work day to take breaks and get outside (rain or shine). I have my own dog so it is part of my routine to spend time caring for her. I live in a cold-a-sac neighborhood and have over a half acre of land. I enjoy playing fetch with dogs, walking with them, or just sitting side by side being buddies. I make sure they are fed enough and always have water in their bowls!
“Hannah was fantastic and her home, neighborhood and garden were a beautiful spot for Wally to spend the day! When I picked him up at the end of the day I could see he loved Hannah and he was happy and calm. I couldn't recommend Hannah's dog sitting more - we are definitely going back!”

Unplanned overages may be charged. MUST LOVE DOGS & CATS Boarding + Daycare in our home I live with four other people: one human (my partner Jason), one canine (a 2-year-old Border Collie Poodle girl), and two felines (a 1-year-old girl and a 13-year-old queen). All of them are very friendly and well socialized. However, this means that if I board your dog, or take them in for daycare, they have to be familiar and respectful with cats, and well-socialized with dogs. Ideally they love playing and chasing (but not the cats). I work from home on my budding dog business, and I am enrolled in two different prestigious academies, studying canine behavior and training. It is easy for me to have another dog around, but I will require a visit to my house first to ensure the dogs get along, and your dog won't chase my cats. Ideally, we go for a walk together first, to give the dogs the opportunity to meet on neutral turf. I will only take one guest dog at a time. They'll get to play to their heart's content with my dog in a fully fenced large yard. My partner Jason and I just love all animals. I will be your sitter / primary caretaker, but in our home, Jason will give a lot of additional affection and attention, when he's around. I’ve been a dog parent for over 20 years, and have lots of experience with all ages and special needs. I am very diligent about catering to your dog’s specific needs and keeping you updated as frequently as you like, including lots of pictures. FORCE-FREE POLICY I will never use choke, prong, slip, or e-collars of any kind. If you want me to take your dog on walks, please bring a harness for safety. I usually drive my own dog to various trails in the area every morning and we go 3+ miles, I'd be happy to take yours on hikes, too, if they like car rides and can handle the exercise. Your dog will be with me and my dog all day long. Throughout the day, I take frequent breaks and let them out, be it for more walks, or a game of fetch or chase in our large yard. As soon as I'm certified as a dog trainer, I'll be happy to take on training as well. I will watch your dog in my home. I’ll adhere to their normal schedule and needs. They'll have a friendly play buddy in my own dog.
“Michele is a wonderful and thoughtful sitter. I have always felt very comfortable leaving my pup with her. He gets lots of time outside and joins them on walks when appropriate. I recommend her highly to anyone looking!”

“Maria was amazing with our dog Lena! Lena was never upset when we dropped her off and never seemed anxious when we picked her up, which is saying a whole lot for Lena. Maria was awesome with the Rover reports, giving us lots of photos, a summary of her day, and a recount of her many walks and potty breaks. Maria is sweet as can be and really just everything you could hope for in a sitter for your pup. She gave us a complete peace of mind that our girl was in great hands. Thank you so much Maria!”

“Kim provided doggie daycare to my doodle Rooney while I hit the slopes on our VT vacay. Roo came home happy & tired after playing w/ his friends all day. Kim even provides pick-up/drop-off services which are very convenient & much appreciated! Highly recommend!”
“Danielle was wonderful. She accommodated our repeatedly changing schedule and was excellent to deal with. Danielle’s manor is calm and peaceful. Both dogs took extremely well to her. Danielle sent photos and videos. I would definitely recommend Danielle and hire her again.”

About: My schedule is flexible so I'm able to spend time throughout the day with your fur baby. I'm active and happy to play fetch for hours! I like to take puppers for multiple walks and give lots of love and pets. The clients I sit for like the fact they can contact me last minute and I'm generally able to adjust my schedule to be available. My schedule changes from week to week but feel free to contact me to double check my availability no matter the season! I like when clients leave me detailed instructions on what their pets normal schedules are, that way there's less stress put on myself and on your fur friend! I'm able to work from home most days of the week, this allows me to be available for all pet needs - morning, lunch time, and after work walks are a part of my daily schedule when we have a dog to take care of. Lots of mental stimulation and training exercises throughout the day to keep them out of trouble helps too! I have a 9 year old cat in the house that tends to keep to herself in the bedroom when there's a dog around. Our home is on 5 acres of land with a big yard to do lots of sniffing around. I'm also located right on the rail trail for longer walks and adventures!
About: I've been an animal lover and taken care of pets my whole life! Growing up, we had the sweetest yellow lab named Pete. Now, my partner and I adopt old pets and care for them during their retirement. I love animals and will care for your pets as if they were my own. ****** PLEASE NOTE ****** that we have two dogs (an elderly deaf pug named Alice, and a senior terrier mix named Edie) and one cat. Our pets are friendly towards other dogs, cats, and people who come to visit/ stay with us. Please let me know if you have any concerns about your pet staying with our pets, or if they don't have experience with cats. We can discuss and ensure it'll be a good mutual fit. I am an educator at the local elementary school, and offer pet care services to neighbors and visitors to the area. My availability is generally flexible on the weekends, and can extend into the week on a case-by-case basis. I generally offer 3-4 walks per day, including one longer adventure to mountain trails, or another nearby, dog friendly destination. I'm happy to bring your pup to any of their favorite spots (within reason). Of course, it goes without saying that pets are allowed on the furniture and more than welcome to snuggle in bed at night, also open to crating or any special care required.
“I highly recommend Katie! Very easygoing and I felt comfortable leaving my Chewbear with her. She was flexible with my time period and I did not feel rushed. If I had more energy I would have done more. Katie was very responsive to my texts and I even got a "report card" letting me know more about his time there. So nice to have peace of mind for your animal with severe separation anxiety. She is a godsend. Would definitely let Chewy visit again. Thank you Katie!”

About: I have taken care of my family and friend’s dogs for years. I just found out about Rover from a friend who’s been on Rover for some time and she’s told me just how fun and rewarding it is, so I am giving it a go! I have a Yellow Lab of my own “Jader” who loves going for hikes and swimming in my pond. Currently I am very flexible and would be able to provide walks, pet sitting, and potentially be willing to board on a case by case basis. I look forward to where this Rover journey takes me! At the time I am in flight school which is part time and I have quite a bit of flexibility. So days and evenings are doable. I live on a 100 acre horse farm at the end of quiet dirt road so there is very little traffic. When you come by for the first time you will think this is doggy heaven. My Lab Jader is very easy going and gets along with most dogs. Of course before entertaining any boarding I would have to see how Jader gets along with your dog. Other than that I am used to walking and hiking in public areas so walking the rec path or going up the Pinnacle would not be an issue.
