2. Julia & Jason T.
“Animal lovers at heart, Julia and Jason care for dogs as if they’re her own. They're knowledgeable, responsible, trustworthy and reliable. Their care is personalized to each pet’s needs. The kindness they've shown my dog Murphy over the years is invaluable to me. He suffers from anxiety. Julia and Jason are attentive to his needs and routine, putting us both at ease. Whether a daily walk or extended stays, when I’m traveling, I receive pictures and updates regularly. Knowing Murphy’s in the best of hands when I’m away is comforting. Sometimes he doesn’t want to leave their company! I highly recommend Julia and Jason to anyone looking for pet care, sitting and/or walking.”

“Chelsea is everything you can want in a dog sitter. While traveling we needed a dog sitter for us to have a “city day.” Chelsea responded promptly and politely. She was friendly and had great communication with lots of photos throughout our dogs stay. She set up a home base for him to relax near her during the stay. He was happy and relaxed when we picked him up. We will definitely use her services again next time we are in the area.”
7. Claire B.
About: My name is Claire! I am a nursing student at the University of Vermont and I am looking to take care of some pets! I grew up taking care of three of my own family dogs. I also have a cat now who I absolutely adore. I have a lot of availability right now, so I can be as flexible as you need me to be! The only days I have classes this semester are Mondays and Tuesdays, so those days will most likely not work for me. I always make sure each animal is being paid attention to and that their individual needs are met. If they want to play, we play. If they want to rest, we rest.
8. Alma P.
“Alma is caring, loving and attentive. She provided a safe space for our Sadie. We will not hesitate to book with Alma when visiting Burlington again. I highly recommend Alma.”

10. Lisa C.
“Lisa is AWESOME! We were nervous to leave our puppy, Felix, with someone we did not know well. Lisa offered to have us come over on a weekend to meet her and introduce Felix to her house/yard. He felt right at home right away! She is very attentive to Felix's needs and is super flexible when our schedule changes. Lisa has a great fenced in yard that Felix gets to run around and play in. He always looks forward to being at Lisa's and sleeps like a baby when he gets home! Lisa sends us updates and pictures when Felix is with her which we really appreciate too. Most importantly, we can tell that Lisa truly loves dogs and takes care of Felix just as we would. Can't say enough great things about her! I would 110% recommend Lisa to anyone looking for a dog sitter!”
11. Christina K.
“Christina was wonderful. She was so kind and considerate and thoughtful. She welcomed my very large boxer into her home, and took great care of him. She really went above and beyond and sent me pictures and updates to let me know how he was doing. I highly recommend her!”

About: I have worked with animals most of my life, starting young when my family fostered dogs and worked in shelters. I spent most of my free time volunteering, working with shy dogs and cats and exercising the more energetic ones until I was about 14. As I got older I searched for more ways of working with animals and convinced my family to get a wildlife rehabilitation license, which we got! I then spent the next four years fully dedicated to the care of dozens of orphaned and injured small mammals and birds. Eventually I had to turn my focus on moving forward with my personal development and spent several years working in different doggy daycares and training centers. I also have worked with more exotic animals such as birds, snakes and lizards. Now I am looking forward to working with animals still, but in a more flexible, relaxed way! I work from home and have very flexible hours. So I am very free and flexible to meet each individual person and pets needs, just ask for what you need! When working with animals I strive to work in a positive way. I have worked in facilities that use LIMA (least intrusive, minimally aversive) and strive to follow that on my own. At my last job in a dog training facility I was in charge of overseeing the safety and wellbeing of each dog. I am well trained in reading dog body language and can confidently identify when a dog is stressed and have skills to help mitigate stress, fear and over arousal. I also have taken classes on dog first aid and CPR. I am confident walking many dogs with different behaviors, such as fear and mild reactivity, so long as it is discussed and I have the right tools.
13. Colby W.
“Colby is awesome! She took great care of my dog Astra. Colby sent pictures, videos, and updates throughout the day to let me know that Astra was happy and doing well. Astra needs a lot of activity and it was clear when I picked her up at the end of the day that she got plenty. I will definitely be using Colbys services again.”

About: Ever since I got my first pup, a golden retriever, in 2011, I realized how important dogs are in my life. They make my life worth living! I relate to dogs more than I do to most people, and I am passionate about giving them what they need. Do they need an off leash walk? A run on leash? A walk where they can stop frequently to sniff? Lots of lovies? (This is usually a given!) Relatively rough play with toys?! (No serious biting though :) ) If they are more low energy, I can match that as well and give them what they need. Whatever your dogs’ wants and needs, as long as it's safe for both of us, I'm on it!! If you are looking for boarding or day sitting, your pup will just have to get along with our two high energy pups for it to be a match :) I currently work at home and am available during the evenings and early mornings to help take care of your pup. If I am boarding a dog I can take them out every 2-4 hours during the day (sometimes more often). If you live close and you just need a brief walk/play and being let out, I could do that midday as well. I’m available to do dog running as well- message me for more information about that. I would love to care for pets in my home as long as the dog gets along with my dogs, isn't aggressive towards humans, and isn’t destructive. We have a fenced in backyard where we can play ball. I live in a house with my husband and two of our own pups, no children, and we both love dogs. I also have a dog ramp for the car.
15. Maria C.
“Maria was amazing with our dog Lena! Lena was never upset when we dropped her off and never seemed anxious when we picked her up, which is saying a whole lot for Lena. Maria was awesome with the Rover reports, giving us lots of photos, a summary of her day, and a recount of her many walks and potty breaks. Maria is sweet as can be and really just everything you could hope for in a sitter for your pup. She gave us a complete peace of mind that our girl was in great hands. Thank you so much Maria!”
16. Meghan J.
“Meghan was great! Butters felt right at home immediately which made me comfortable and happy. Also Meghan was super easy going with our late night pick-up. Five stars!”
17. Katie V.
“Katie took great care of my dog Ace and sent me photos of him looking happy and kept me updated while I was at work. I'll definitely be bringing Ace back again!”
18. Shelby M.
About: Hello!! I have two furry babies of my own ( a lab and husky) and they both have unlimited energy! Me and my boyfriend are a very active couple and love taking them for walks twice a day, to the dog park and to the beach. We have a nice walking path at our apartment complex that is perfect for this! I love watching a variety of dogs ( small to large) and both of my dogs love to play with other dogs! For the dogs I have watched, I send daily photos and updates as needed. You’re dog would get the utmost attention here( nightly cuddles and daily activities) to reduce stress while traveling! If you have any questions or concerns you are welcome to ask!
19. Meredith R.
“Meredith is a kind, loving, and responsible person who absolutely loves animals. As my neighbor, I often saw her with her own dogs out walking, playing, and snuggling. Both pups needed a little extra care when it came to medications, supplements, etc. and she always made sure they were getting exactly what the vet recommended. She also watched my cat and rabbit on many occasions and went above and beyond when making sure the animals were happy and healthy. I highly recommend Meredith as your dog caregiver!”
20. Denise O.
About: I knew from an early age I wanted to work with animals. I started horseback riding lessons when I was ten and went on to working off my lessons by caring for the lesson horses. This led me to manage a boarding barn and earn my riding instructor license. When I moved to VT I worked at an animal shelter for dogs and cats. This inspired me to go back to college for a degree in Veterinary Technology. I worked as a Certified Vet Tech for 12 yrs. Now I would like to focus on working from home and helping pets be comfortable and safe when their people are away. I'm currently working part-time so I have plenty of time for walks and visits. I'm available on the weekends for boarding and a couple of days during the week. I have a fenced in yard and two dogs to keep your family member company. We have lots of land and trails to walk on. I have a large crate available if needed.
