“Chelsea is everything you can want in a dog sitter. While traveling we needed a dog sitter for us to have a “city day.” Chelsea responded promptly and politely. She was friendly and had great communication with lots of photos throughout our dogs stay. She set up a home base for him to relax near her during the stay. He was happy and relaxed when we picked him up. We will definitely use her services again next time we are in the area.”

About: Hello!! I have two furry babies of my own ( a lab and husky) and they both have unlimited energy! Me and my boyfriend are a very active couple and love taking them for walks twice a day, to the dog park and to the beach. We have a nice walking path at our apartment complex that is perfect for this! I love watching a variety of dogs ( small to large) and both of my dogs love to play with other dogs! For the dogs I have watched, I send daily photos and updates as needed. You’re dog would get the utmost attention here( nightly cuddles and daily activities) to reduce stress while traveling! About: Having been a pet owner for all my life, I am familiar with all sizes and temperaments of dog and cat breeds. I look forward to meeting your fur-baby. I’m recently retired so I’ll have plenty of time to spend with your pets. My house is available if you need boarding or I can come to you. I take my dog out on leash for walks as I live in a rural setting with lots of great trails and back roads for safe exercise and opportunities to explore.

“Maria was great with our high-energy dog! They went on a hike and went to the dog park, and Maria’s pups were great playmates. Freyja came home exhausted and went straight to sleep. You know what they say; a tired dog is a good dog. Maria was very accommodating with Freyja’s specific needs, too! Freyja would go back in a heartbeat!”

About: I knew from an early age I wanted to work with animals. I started horseback riding lessons when I was ten and went on to working off my lessons by caring for the lesson horses. This led me to manage a boarding barn and earn my riding instructor license. When I moved to VT I worked at an animal shelter for dogs and cats. This inspired me to go back to college for a degree in Veterinary Technology. I worked as a Certified Vet Tech for 12 yrs. Now I would like to focus on working from home and helping pets be comfortable and safe when their people are away. I'm currently working part-time so I have plenty of time for walks and visits. I'm available on the weekends for boarding and a couple of days during the week. I have a fenced in yard and two dogs to keep your family member company. We have lots of land and trails to walk on. I have a large crate available if needed.
