About: What sets me apart... 1. I bring the full pet parent experience... [I've spent years caring for animals of all ages and energy levels—from spunky puppies to senior sweethearts with soulful eyes and slower strides.] 2. I’ve been a foster mom, matchmaker, and canine translator... [Many of the dogs I fostered found their forever homes within 48 hours. That experience taught me how to read dog body language, adapt quickly, and provide calm, confident care, no matter the dog’s temperament or background.] 2. I don’t take chances with safety... [Even the best-trained pups can get curious or spooked. That’s why I always use an AirTag when a dog is in my care. Just a little added peace of mind for us both. And, if you'd like... I would be more than happy to share our location with you too!] 3. My old dog (whose name is apparently a Rover security risk) taught me everything I know... [These days, I travel too much for a pup of my own, but I’ve still got all that dog parent energy, and nowhere to put it... except into caring for yours.] 4. I’m up with the sun (and also cool with twilight strolls). [Whether you need a one night stay or a longer stretch of house sitting, I’m flexible, reliable, and happy to keep your routines rolling.] 5. Sometimes, there’s bonus help... [Depending on his schedule, my partner (a longtime shelter volunteer) may be able to join me. He’s calm, gentle, and no joke, every cat so far has liked him more than me. Think of it as bonus ear scratches and nose boops. But your comfort comes first... just let me know your preference.] ***I am currently welcoming new clients through Rover in addition to the longtime private clients I’m lucky to work with. While I’m based in the Northeast Kingdom this summer, I’ve set my profile to Morristown to help broaden my booking radius. I regularly care for pets in the Waterbury/Stowe area and often travel to Charlotte, Jericho, and the Mad River Valley to support families I’ve built trusted relationships with.*** Here’s to belly rubs, tail wags, and all the joy our four-legged companions bring. I can’t wait to meet yours. I am working towards making animal care (dog/cat sitting and walking) my full time job... hence I have a flexible schedule and am available to care for your animals... be it on short notice or for extended periods. As a sincere pet lover with years of experience, you can trust that your four-legged ones will be in safe, capable, and loving hands. As a former innkeeper and park ranger, I bring a commitment to care and responsibility to every dog/kitty-sitting experience. I understand and appreciate how important your animal's routine is and will honor it to keep them feeling secure and happy while you’re away. I believe in the "leave no trace" philosophy, so when you return, the only sign of my visit will be a content, well cared for furry friend. Just as I took pride in leaving each space better than I found it in my previous roles, I’ll treat your home with the same respect and attention to detail. You can trust that your doggo/kitty's safety, comfort, and daily routine are my top priorities

About: Dogs have always been a huge part of my life, and working with them brings me a real sense of purpose and joy. I’m a certified positive reinforcement dog trainer with over a decade of hands-on experience, including ten years focused specifically on training. Over the years, I’ve worked in boarding facilities, daycares, shelters, and with rescue groups—giving me the chance to work with all kinds of dogs, from the tiniest pups to big goofballs, each with their own quirks and personalities. For nearly ten years, I’ve served as the lead daycare attendant and trainer at a local dog daycare, helping dogs learn, grow, and have fun in a safe, structured environment. I’m certified in pet first aid and have built strong working relationships with local animal hospitals and rescue organizations. I’ve also completed specialized courses in training shelter dogs and teaching private lessons. I love getting outside with dogs—whether it’s a long walk on the trail, a fun game of fetch, or some playful training that builds confidence and good habits. I’m happy to provide references from past clients, coworkers, and employers who can speak to the care and attention I bring to every dog I work with. Thanks so much for considering me—I’d love to meet you and your pup! I proudly serve the Lamoille County area and am available 7 days a week, 365 days a year, based on availability. Whether it’s a weekend getaway or a holiday trip, I’m here to help when you need dependable care for your pets. While I don’t have a fenced-in yard, I do have access to a few quiet, safe dog parks that are perfect for playtime and structured walks. For safety, all dogs wear secure harnesses when leaving the apartment—no collar slips on my watch! I also use a doggie seatbelt anytime we travel by car, because your pet’s safety is always my top priority. When your dog stays with me, I kindly ask that feeding and medication instructions be legible (typed is preferred) to make sure nothing gets missed. For overnight house sitting, I appreciate detailed, easy-to-read instructions about your pet’s routine and where to find supplies like food, medications, cleaning, and anything else I’ll need to keep your home running smoothly. Your pet's care is always personalized, and clear instructions help me provide the same love and structure they’re used to at home!

About: I've been an animal lover and taken care of pets my whole life! Growing up, we had the sweetest yellow lab named Pete. Now, my partner and I adopt old pets and care for them during their retirement. I love animals and will care for your pets as if they were my own. ****** PLEASE NOTE ****** that we have two dogs (an elderly deaf pug named Alice, and a senior terrier mix named Edie) and one cat. Our pets are friendly towards other dogs, cats, and people who come to visit/ stay with us. Please let me know if you have any concerns about your pet staying with our pets, or if they don't have experience with cats. We can discuss and ensure it'll be a good mutual fit. I am an educator at the local elementary school, and offer pet care services to neighbors and visitors to the area. My availability is generally flexible on the weekends, and can extend into the week on a case-by-case basis. I generally offer 3-4 walks per day, including one longer adventure to mountain trails, or another nearby, dog friendly destination. I'm happy to bring your pup to any of their favorite spots (within reason). Of course, it goes without saying that pets are allowed on the furniture and more than welcome to snuggle in bed at night, also open to crating or any special care required.

About: I grew up with litters of German Shepherd puppies which sparked my lifelong love of animals. As adult, I raised and bred Labrador Retrievers. I now share my home with five cats, two Labs and six chickens. I'm also a proud grandparent to two wonderful grandchildren. Retired and living in Vermont. I'm recently retired and spending my time doing what I love most. Beling arond animals. I enjoy going on walks, playing and simply keeping pets company. If you ever need a little help with your furry friend whether it's a walk, some playtime, or just a visit while you're out. I can take them to the dog parks or to the waling paths.

About: Hi! I’ve been pet sitting and had my own dog for many years. Now, I have experience from drop-in visits to extended overnight stays, with many different types of needs. I’m dedicated to caring for a pet the same way their owner would and look forward to spending time with animals. I work from home most days and can accommodate a flexible potty schedule and activity level. I enjoy taking breaks to spend with pets, to get outside or tuck in on the sofa! I have an enclosed garden and large, unfenced yard. We are well back from the main road so pets are welcome to explore the neighborhood.

About: I’ve been pet sitting for about 15 years now. Briefly owning my own pet sitting and dog walking company many years ago before having children. My family and I have been fostering dogs for just over a year now and have had the joy of finding 6 dogs their forever homes. Now being a stay at home mom with some spare time on my hands, I’m looking to get into pet sitting and dog walking again to share the love of animals with my kiddos! Flexible availability as I am home most days all day. Mid mornings and early afternoons are best for walks. Overnight care in our home is available any day and night! We have 10 acres off a private road with ample space to run and enjoy walks. We also have an entirely fenced in yard for the dogs to romp as they please!

“Jordin is a great communicator and answered my messages right away. She followed all of my directions perfectly and my dog Lalo had a blast with her and her dog. I wouldn’t hesitate to book again and I highly recommend.”

About: Hello! I’m Katie and I’m the woman petting the dog instead of socializing at the party. My fiancé Jonny and I just relocated back to Lamoille county and we’d love to watch your dog! Aside from having our own (a dachshund named Klaus, a chihuahua foster fail named Pig and two cats, Fats and Carl) for last nine years we have boarded dogs in our home. Before leaving Philly, Jonny worked for Happy Tails of Philly as a sitter & walker for 8 years. I was formerly the GM and Boarding Coordinator for a chain of dog daycares in Philadelphia, working for them for 4 years-so it’s safe to say we are well versed with canines! I was a foster parent with City of Elderly Love in Philly and hope to foster again now that I’ve relocated to Vermont. All of our dog experience can guarantee that not only is your dog going to be safe and comfortable with us, but will have as much fun possible! Whether that’s playing fetch in the yard, going for a walk or lounging on the couch, we are happy as long as the dogs around us are! Since becoming a foster parents to seniors dogs years ago, we have gained much knowledge and experience with special needs and administering different types of medications. I have a part time job but Jonny will be home full time for the pups with separation anxiety. If you board with us, our place will be your dog’s home away from home. 💕 I’m currently working part time but Jonny is working from home so you never have to worry about your pup being left unattended in a new place! Dogs staying with us will never be left outside unattended and will always be leashed. We do have crates for crate trained dogs. All dogs we watch must be dog and cat friendly. We are currently staying with my parents and they have chickens on the property but they are separated by a fence.

“Fantastic, 10/10! Thank you! We reached out to Alaysha & Alexander super last minute when a family emergency required us to leave town for the day, and they responded promptly, and were able to take our dog for a lovely-seeming hour long walk. Would definitely recommend, hope we can use them again in the future!”
