About: I’ve been around dogs and cats my whole life! I currently have 2 cat of my own. I’m the go-to dog sitter for my entire family. Between my siblings and I, we have 7 cats and 2 dogs! I’m a local teacher with a lot of free time in the summer. I’ll take your dog on long walks or cuddle with your cats if needed! I am a local teacher and have the summers off. I’m out of school most days around 3pm. Perfect for an afternoon walk! My availability is flexible! My cats enjoy a quiet and cozy living space. My services include drop-ins or dog walking. We got our 3 year old shih tzu, Hermie, 10 months ago. We were nervous to leave him in an out of state, unfamiliar hotel room with a total stranger. Kim, surpassed our expectations, squashing our anxiety of leaving Hermie in our hotel room with her while keeping Hermie safe, busy, calm and happy till mommy and daddy got back. This was the first time we’ve used a service like Rover and left our furbaby Wendy with someone who was not a family member. Whitney put us at ease and Wendy immediately took to her and her daughter. Whitney and her daughter were fantastic with our little girl Wendy! They listened to our concerns and followed our care instructions for Wendy. Whitney was so flexible and accommodating as she watched our furbaby in our hotel room as we were at family events for 2 days. She was in constant contact with us and sent pictures whenever we requested and often time she sent on her own. We plan on visiting Vermont in the future and using Whitney again. Unfortunately, other than Cara, my landlord has a no pets policy so I cannot host. We can go for car rides though, or to the park, or a nice long walk!

“Pete was an amazing pet sitter 🤩 We visited Stowe with our special needs Frenchie and Pete came to our lodging and cared for her when we had plans that didn’t support a doggo tagging along. He kept us up-to-date on how she was doing, shared pictures, and made her as comfortable as possible while we were away. He was incredibly communicative prior to the booking, even offering suggestions of places to visit. And after the pet sitting service he loaned us ice spikes for a winter hike. Super nice guy. I work for myself from home (consulting) so I have a lot of flexibility and control of my schedule. I only take on sitting gigs when I can give the proper attention. My previous dog was a magician and could get into stuff pretty much anywhere, including maybe even on top of the fridge. So we are well versed in creating a pet-safe environment and do not leave anything to chance.

About: I promise to keep your fur baby safe and happy as can be while you're away. I will provide playtime, walks, cuddles and a lot of attention. I am very interactive and not afraid to be goofy in order to make a genuine connection with your pet. Don't be afraid to leave me detailed instructions- I get it and have fur and feathered babies of my own! I am able to walk up to 2 to 3 big dogs at a time and feel confident in my abilities to give commands and appropriate rewards/disciplines. If your pet(s) gets dirty, I will bathe them as well as clean up any messes that occur. I also will keep your home sweet home neat and tidy so you never come home to a mess. I have grown up with pets and have always owned one or two.. okay, maybe 3 at a time. I make genuine connections with animals (wild ones, too) and would love to give them the opportunity to get outside all season long (even in the winter).
