About: I have been fortunate enough to have grown up with dogs and then continue to own dogs for my entire life. While growing up we owned big dogs, little dogs, smart dogs, goofy dogs and everything in between. When I had a farm and family I continued the tradition of having all types, sizes and temperaments of dogs. I have been solely responsible for training, care and loving all these pups. To say I have learned a lot the old fashioned way would be an understatement. Currently,,I own six Australian Shepherds. I started a very small but very responsible breeding program in 2020. I would have one litter a year by different moms. After a lot of research and talking to different rescues I learned how this particular breed is very misunderstood and end up abandoned or turned over to shelters. I then immediately came to the conclusion I did not want to add to this situation but wanted to be part of the solution. I then turned my sights to rescuing. This has become my passion and I am still helping out Australian Shepherds Furever rescue 3 years later. I have raised pups for them and took the mothers as well. I have personally interviewed and filtered through possible adopters for the pups and the mothers when they were ready. I trained all of our puppies and continue the training processes with the fosters. I have also done some competing with my Aussies and have gained achievement rewards with them. I have a love and passion for all animals and respect each animal individually. Each one is different and learn, trust and love differently. It's this understanding that separates me from other individuals. I currently have 6 Aussies, three cats and all kinds of farm animals. My focus is mostly with the cats and dogs. I do work a full time job but when I'm at home I'm rotating dogs so each one can get the love, attention, stimulation and focus that they deserve. I am always working on training, repetition, and a schedule so days and nights run smoothly in the home. Every dog and cat gets the time and love that they deserve and seek. I'm looking to fill weekends currently and if it's close by I could pull off a week here and there to spend time with other's pets. During these times my other half is home and can show them the attention they need. We won't tell my other half but they enjoy mom time better... Wink wink While in a clients home and taking care of the clients fur babies I will keep the same schedule and routine that those fur babies are already use to. Additionally, if they need to be medicated I will follow those guidelines as well as any outdoor or exercise guidelines. The last thing that I want to do is upset those fur babies anymore than they may already be because mom and dad are gone. My goal is for those fur babies to become part of my large family of fur babies and except me as one of their own. HopefullyI will be liked and utilized enough by your family that me being there is like part of the family visiting.

About: Growing up in rural Vermont, my household was equal parts animals and humans. From an early age, I learned the care and attention that goes into caring for pets from the time they are an energetic puppy to well into their silver years. I’m well equipped to handle potting training, medication feeding, and leash pulling. Fun fact! My first job was as a neighborhood dog walker and my catch phrase was “Lydia B walking” because my last name starts with a B! I'm currently a student and I'm most available during the mornings on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. Depending on the distance and public transit accessibility, I could be more available! When it comes to caring for other people’s pets, I treat every pet like they’re my own. Which means making sure they are happy, healthy, and safe even after walk time is over. I understand and fully respect that your pet is part of your home and as such, I will follow every aspect of your (and their) routine. In your home, I will make sure doors, gates, and crates are secure, and I always leave things just the way I found them (or better!). I love getting to know each pet’s unique personality, and I’ll keep you in the loop with plenty of updates, pics, and funny moments along the way. You can relax knowing your furry friend is in good hands—and probably having a blast.

About: As a former medical coordinator in mental health, busy coffee shop manager, mother to two adult boys and companion of a 14 year old dog, I can promise you your pet and home will be in loving hands. I am comfortable with most ranges of pets and enjoy high energy pooches. I am adaptable and willing to learn what will make your companion thrive while you are away. I have taken care of multiple pets over the years including a dog that was blind and another who had medical complications. My own rescue dog struggles with thunder, loud noises and balloons 🤣. You can be assured your pet will be taken care of with love and patience. My pup will stay home with his older brother while I pet sit, so your animals receive my full attention. I work 40 hours a week at a coffee shop in Waterbury, VT. If the stay is local, I can adjust my schedule as needed though there may be a day I need to be gone about 8 hours or so. If with in a ten minute radius, walks and check ins are available for stays or drop ins. I truly love going for long walks in the morning and afternoon. If you have a feline companion, we know it is all about their schedule and will be mindful of keeping the quirks and timing on track. In addition to loving going for walks, I've been able to follow specific requests that are more personalized for the pet and the homeowner. Whether that be specific times for walks, cleaning up the litterbox multiple times a day, oral and injectable medications or unusual feeding routines, I've got you covered. I am there for your pet and take that seriously. If it is a day off work, that day is tailored to your pet. That looks like a beach day, hike it the woods, cuddles on the couch or going to the dog park. What ever will make their tail wag. I am also very communicative regarding either the schedule, what we are up to and letting you know about your pets well being. Lots of pictures, communicating the daily activities and peace of mind while away.

About: Hello! I’m Katie and I’m the woman petting the dog instead of socializing at the party. My fiancé Jonny and I relocated back to Lamoille county a few years ago and we’d love to watch your dog! We currently have a senior chihuahua foster fail named Pig. Before leaving Philly, Jonny worked for Happy Tails of Philly as a sitter & walker for 8 years. I was formerly the GM and Boarding Coordinator for a chain of dog daycares in Philadelphia, working for them for 4 years-so it’s safe to say we are well versed with canines! I was a foster parent with City of Elderly Love in Philly and hope to foster again now that I’ve relocated to Vermont. All of our dog experience can guarantee that not only is your dog going to be safe and comfortable with us, but will have as much fun possible! Whether that’s playing fetch in the yard, going for a walk or lounging on the couch, we are happy as long as the dogs around us are! Since becoming a foster parents to seniors dogs years ago, we have gained much knowledge and experience with special needs and administering different types of medications. I have a part time job but Jonny will be home full time for the pups with separation anxiety. If you board with us, our place will be your dog’s home away from home. 💕 Dogs staying with us will never be left outside unattended and will always be leashed. About: I’ve spent a lot of time doing long term dogsitting as well as drop in feeding/walks. I have experience with puppies, seniors, and everything in between! I’ll be your dog’s new best friend! I work part time Monday - Thursday so I am usually available for sitting or drop in visits Friday - Sunday, as my schedule allows. For overnight and day care for dogs I am available to travel to your home to sit for your pets.
