About: I am comfortable walking and/or caring for on any size dog. I’ve been a dog owner for most of my life, and am willing to take care of your pup in whatever way works best for you! I work from home so I have a very flexible schedule to accommodate your pet's needs. I work a 9-5 job from home, so I can accommodate almost any schedule that works best for your pet care needs, including midday walks or check ins. I live in an apartment and can watch small dogs in my home. I also have one dog at home, a 45-pound cattle dog mix, who gets along well with medium and small sized dogs. If you have a large or extra large dog I am happy to care for your pet in your home.
About: I have 8 years of pet care experience, starting at age 15. I’ve had animals my whole life, and would love to share my love for my animals to provide attentive, reliable care. I’m a part time nanny with very flexible hours which gives me lots of availability for walks, drop in’s, feeling and playtime throughout the day. I am happy to care for your pet in their own home where they’re most comfortable. I care for pets with love and attention upon each animals preference. I’m not able to care for pets in my own home at the moment.

About: I tend to pet sit for family and friends. They request me personally due to loving animals and how I get along with their animals. I am out of work due to surgery. I can drop in anytime. About: Fueled by a genuine and passionate love for animals, I was a small-animal veterinary technician for 9 years. This led me to earning a pre-veterinary science degree from the University of Vermont followed by a job working at Cornell University Veterinary Specialists' small animal hospital. I have since changed my career but still pursue animal care in my free-time. This includes pet sitting, dog walking, and anything else you may need. From dogs and cats to bunnies and birds, I had it all growing up and this pet hobby has transcended into my adult life. I'm confident administering medications, trimming nails, scrubbing your fish tank, or simply walking and playing with your pets. My friends, coworkers, and family have relied on me for years for top notch pet care. I currently work from home full-time and therefore have a lot of flexibility to come care for and play with your pets! I take my own dog on walks, hikes, or to the dog park every day and would be glad to do the same with yours. Ample exercise = a happy pet! I care deeply for animals and will do all I can to keep them safe, happy, and health. I have a fenced-in yard in the New North End of Burlington that is perfect for supervised dog play and exploration. We are also just a 5 minute walk from the Starr Farm Dog Park. I follow all leash rules and will never let a dog go unsupervised while playing with a toy or eating a treat to eliminate choking hazards. I am an excellent rule-follower so if you have a special request for in-home care, let me know and I'll follow it to a T.
About: Hello! I'm excited to spend some time caring for your furry loved ones! I've had animals all my life, ranging from birds, frogs, and sugar gliders- to cats and dogs! I love animals of all shapes and sizes. Basically, if you need it done, I can do it. I’m incredibly observant and in tune with the needs of animals mentally and physically. I'm here on a mission to provide my pup Murphy with the backyard, and time off, that he deserves! We are a manners first, and positive reinforcement household. I really enjoy training time for simple things, like waiting patiently to be released, and food time manners. You and your pets will receive far more than a walk and some love with me on the job!
About: Even though this is my first year being a sitter, I’ve had pets in my whole life so I know how to have really good pet care and I also love animals over humans so I have a lot of experience with taking care of animals no matter what. Also, I am majoring in a degree to where I could graduate to go take care of animals in the future! It helps me experience and help me for my future, and it also gives me a time to get stuff off of my brain after classes, kinda like a reset of my day! I make sure they eat when they want to take them out when they need to whether it means just taking them out in the front yard to play, use the bathroom or to go on a walk. I also love spending time with my animals and other peoples animals, so I’ll take the time to play with them inside if needed and give them all the love in the cuddles needed!

Meet & Greets can take place in person or virtually. If you are booking with a sitter for the first time, we recommend in-person Meet & Greets to get a clearer sense of how your sitter interacts with your pet or the new environment.
During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Meet & Greets are a great way to prepare your pet and sitter for longer stays or first-time bookings. Read our tips for your first Meet & Greet .
sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy , which you can find on their profile under their contact information. Sitters may set a same-day, one-, three-, or seven-day cancellation policy. Cancelling within your sitter’s cancellation policy qualifies you for a full refund.
Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement sitter.
