About: I’ve grown up around dogs and cats my whole life and have experience with a variety of breeds and personalities. I was raised with Labs, Golden Retrievers, Doodles, and mixed breeds, and I currently have a pit mix of my own. Caring for animals has always come naturally to me, and I truly enjoy spending time with them. Whether I’m taking your dog for a walk, stopping by to check on your cat, or caring for your pet while you’re away, my goal is always the same: to make them feel safe, comfortable, and loved. I know how important it is to trust the person caring for your pet, and I’ll treat them with the same care and attention I’d want for my own. While I work everyday during the day, I have time in the evenings and all day on the weekends to either take your little ones for walks or feed them or play with them. My dog is allowed on any couch or bed, she doesn’t have many restrictions other than jumping on tables, she sleeps on our bed or the guest bed depending on her mood lol. When it comes to sitting at your house, I will make sure your pup stays on their routine and follows any house rules that are in place!

I’ve helped my aunt train her excited Chocolate Lab puppy, taken care of my friend’s barky, 11 pound Mini Pinscher while they were away, and helped feed, walk, and play with my own household’s anxious, raw diet mut, Sheila. I know how to love and take care of any type of dog—from loudly outgoing to shy! I just finished my sophomore year of college and am looking to help care for anyone’s pets this summer. I take that trust seriously. I follow your pet's routine closely, keep their environment calm and consistent, and send photo updates so you're never left wondering how they're doing. Whether it's a high energy dog who needs a good run or a senior cat who prefers quiet company, I adjust my approach to fit each pet's personality and needs. My focus is always on safety, comfort, and making sure your pet feels at ease while you're away. You'll come back to a happy animal and a home that's been well looked after. My work is fully flexible, so I have plenty of availability for overnight stays any day of the week. For walks and drop-in visits, I'm available Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. I work around your pet's normal routine to keep them comfortable and on track while you're away. When I stay in your home, it is extremely important to me that I prioritize keeping it clean and treating it as I would treat my own.

About: I grew up in rural Virginia, in a county bordering Shenandoah National Park. That area of Virginia is primarily known as being the horse capital of the country, and like every little girl, I fell in love with horses. In order to afford riding, I’d often trade farm work for time in the saddle; and so, I grew up surrounded by creatures great and small. Not only was I responsible for taking care of my family’s personal dogs and cats, but also the farm animals (in particular, 15+ horses at a time, farm dogs, and barn cats). My unique upbringing with horses and other animals has made me a versatile house sitter. Since I was 16 (5 years ago!), I have consistently been house sitting for families with dogs, cats, and horses. Moving to Burlington has brought me away from animals, as it is hard (nearly impossible) to care for a pet while being a full time student living in an apartment. Thus, I’ve joined rover in hopes of reconnecting with my four legged friends. I am happy to help care for your pets in whatever way you see fit! I love running, walking, hiking, or simply lounging, and am flexible to your pet’s needs. As an animal lover myself, I am committed to making sure your pet is happy and healthy! I work as a barista 4 days a week from roughly 7 or 9am (depending on my shift) to 3 or 5pm. My work schedule is usually planned a month in advance and any days that I am not working at the cafe I am available for dog walking or house sitting duties. In my free time, you can find me running, working out, reading, or painting. If your dog is an active creature, I would love to take them on runs or walks! If not, I am more that happy to care for them and keep them company while you’re away! I am not able to keep your pet at my apartment for extended periods of time due to my living situation with four roommates. However, I am more than happy to take them on adventures or visit your home to care for your pets!

About: I have 5+ years of experience with dogs and cats of all ages, sizes, and temperaments, including multi-dog homes. I also have experience giving medications and caring for pets with special needs (cones, diapers, etc) I stay calm, pay attention to details, and make sure each pet feels safe and comfortable. On Mondays and Tuesdays, I’m unavailable for about 6–8 hours at a time. Wednesday through Sunday, my schedule is flexible, allowing for frequent check-ins, walks, and potty breaks throughout the day. I try to keep pets on their normal routine as much as possible so they feel comfortable and less stressed while you’re away. That means sticking to their feeding schedule, walks, potty breaks, and whatever they’re used to at home. I pay close attention to their behavior and adjust based on their energy level and personality whether they want to play, go for a walk, or just relax. In a client’s home, I’m very respectful of the space and keep things clean and consistent. I also make sure pets get plenty of attention, and I always keep owners updated so they know how everything’s going.
