About: I have actively been taking care of dogs since I was a teenager, and in doing so I have worked with a variety of breeds, sizes, and dog of different ages. My manner of minding focuses on building a connection with the dog while uniquely understanding the breed and the specific needs they may need met. I'm very active and thus great with dogs who are looking to get in shape or have high energy levels. I have experience working with dogs who have been abused or neglected and re-socialising them. My home is large enough for multiple dogs of many sizes to be comfortable in as well as a short walk away from multiple parks. Both mornings as well nights are currently available Monday-Sunday.

About: In the last decade+ I've taken care of half a dozen dogs and nearly a dozen cats for friends and through word-of-mouth, including a very senior chihuahua who was blind and deaf and needed diapers changed. I always had cats and dogs around growing up, including two difficult dogs from shelters who had issues. I live with an energetic pit-lab mix, and my parents' three rescue cats are still my sweeties. In the past I volunteered at an animal shelter, helping to socialize cats and walk dogs. I hike every day if I can, so if your dog enjoys vigorous exercise on trails, I can provide that too! I'm an adjunct college professor and freelance writer, so my work is part-time or sporadic, with much of it being done at home. If I'm available, I'll have plenty of time to linger and give attention to your pets! I'll follow your lead on what situations you're comfortable with for your pet, in terms of where I bring your dog for a walk, how they interact with other animals and people, etc.

About: I’ve been working with dogs, cats, and exotic animals for over 10 years! All ages, sizes, and temperaments! Including administrating medications, baths, and nail trims! I’m currently am only working part time as a veterinary assistant so will have plenty of time to spend with your pet ! I’m am available weekends / holidays. I provide in home pet care for dogs and cats, house sitting, drop in visits, walks, etc. I do not typically take pets in my home.

About: I grew up around animals of all kinds on a farm and had the privilege of owning and loving our dog, Betty Lou for 14 years. I work from home and am looking for ways to make extra money while staying active and fitting in with my kids' school schedule (9 am-3 PM). About: Ive taken care of dogs for my whole life. I love spending time with dogs that includes taking them for walks, running around with them, scratching their belly, giving them treats :) I just love the companionship they offer and the happiness they give people. I work full time Monday through Friday but am available on the weekends or evenings for either overnight stays, day stays or just walking the pups. We live in a rather rural area- we are not close to any roads or dangerous traffic. We have cross country trails behind our house that are great to take dogs out on. We have a little female cairne terrier named Libby who is a sweetheart and loves playing with other dogs.

About: I have had pets my whole life. I currently have a small farm. I have chickens, ducks, turkies, pigs, dogs and cats. Alone with rabbits and guinea pigs. we are a very pet friendly area. Live in a wooded area on a dead end street. I currently work from home and have time for pet care. My youngest daughter is also in the home. Also have my granddaughter here on the weekends. she is 11. I will provide care in my home since I work from home this is the best for me at this time. I also have my 11 yr old granddaughter here on weekends.

About: Life long dog owner and volunteer Adoption Coordinator with local Dog Rescue -expertise with small dogs! Avid hiker, runner and dog lover! Fully fenced yard and 2 dogs for company! I volunteer full time remotely for a local dog Rescue. I offer a flexible schedule and can provide dog care in my home or yours as needed. I have a small dog and a “small dog friendly” medium sized dog for playmates as well as a large fenced yard! I am very cautious to leave my dogs with sitters and understand the added stress of leaving a small dog or puppy in care. I offer 100 percent supervision and safety when I care for pets! I have years of experience with training dogs and knowledge of dog behaviors. I offer care specific to your dog’s needs and can provide drop in visits, walks or hikes and daycare or overnight stays in my home. We have a fully fenced yard in the woods.

About: I’ve had dogs for my entire life! I’ve been dog ansitting for neighbors as well as family since I was 14. I am a total animal lover and look forward to being around them. I’m also a medical studying student for those who may need elderly dog or just general care. I’ve also been a house sitter for families in my general area for very long. I’m currently a student however I do not have classes MWF so I am available throughout those days! I also get out of class at 4 PM on TTH so I have evenings then. My weekends are typically always free. I also need to unwind under my classes so it’s perfect to find a hobby and job doing something I love to aid that! I do not have any dogs living with me in VT currently but I have a TON of play and yard space for dogs!! I am someone that will always be keeping a close eye. I’m very responsible and I pride myself on that!!

About: My experience taking care of dogs goes back to my childhood. When I was 8 we got a new puppy and from that moment on I have been obsessed. From taking care of newborn puppies and experiencing the birthing process to helping my senior dogs find comfort in their final days, I have seen it all. I learned a lot of what I know from firsthand experience but also from reading many books of dog behavior and from being taught training techniques from a close family friend and dog trainer. Nothing makes me happier than a dog and nothing makes my dog happier than being with other dogs! I hope to ease the stress that can come from managing life and wanting the best for your pup by providing a safe space for them to have fun! I am currently a student at University and my schedule takes me away from the home for 6 hours a day 5 days a week. I am always providing enrichment activities for my dog while I am away from the house and we go on a long walk when I return. I have a big yard that is partially wooded for the dogs to play around in, whether your dog is good off leash or not. I have a run for my dog that he stays on when outside in the yard but he usually sticks with me so he’s not always attached. In the home are multiple dog beds and comfy places for the pups to rest after a long day. There is always access to water, inside and out. My dog is very easy going so we are willing to be adaptable on a pet to pet basis.

About: I take care of my mom’s house and farm, with two dogs and two cats, when she travels for work. Now I have started to do the same for my sister and friends. I work part time and create my own schedule. I have plenty of downtime and energy for house and pet care! My schedule is flexible. I have had several dogs, and now a cat, in my past who were escape artists, so I am cautious in that regard. I’m also from a big city and take all the precautions when it comes to securing a home, especially one with animals.

About: I've had dogs and cats my whole life and would like a side job where I can help myself and also help someone else. It's hard to find rewarding jobs that fit with your 9 - 5 and I'm hoping I can find something like that here. I'm really good with all animals, and love children (which is good when you walk dogs kids always try to pet them). I'm loving, kind, reliable and have a flexible schedule. I'm open to whatever is needed and want to build a stable relationship for the dog owners who select me to help them out. I also have a degree in psychology and my family still has pets, I get to help with them as well lucky for me :) I work remote from home so I'm available all the time, which is great for pet care! My schedule is very flexible and can take lots of breaks as needed. I live alone with no pets so it's the perfect spot to board animals. I also have no problem staying at your home if that is what is needed.
