I am an undergraduate student at UVM pursuing an animal-science degree with an interest in behavior, conservation, and research. I work at a public farm back home over the summer where I take care of a wide variety of both farm and companion animals (including horses, cows, pigs, sheep, goats, rabbits, chickens, ducks, barn cats, etc.) and I also used to work at Rub-a-Dub Dog (self-serve dog wash shop) throughout high school. Additionally, I started a local business in 2018 and have been pet sitting, dog walking, and house sitting ever since. I have experience with dog, cat, rabbit, bird, fish, and reptile care, and am more than willing to learn how to meet the specific needs of your pet! I have worked with dogs and cats of all ages, along with reactive dogs, and have experience administering oral medicine in cats and dogs. I absolutely love photographing animals so you can expect tons of cute photo and video updates while I am with your furry (or scaly) loved one :)

My goal is to provide care that puts you at ease while also helping to make your pet feel as comfortable as possible while they are away from their person. I am not offering boarding at my own house, but am able to hang out and spend the night at your house with your pet! I am able and willing to adapt in any way that best fits you and your pets needs.

Jillian was great. She was calm and patient with our anxiety mutt. We wanted to see if our dog could handle a sitter (he's timid and very scared of strangers) and she gave him the best possible first experience. He chose to go be in another room from her and she let him chill but checked on him periodically. Exactly what he needed. Apparently our cats had no such need for space and kept her company. Thanks Jillian.
Jillian watched our pup while we were out of town and our girl was in recovery from spay surgery. We were nervous to leave but Jillian eased our minds. She was so sweet and sent us multiple updates throughout each day. Her communication was incredible and her love and care for our girl was impeccable. She treated Mabel as her own and as helicopter dog parents, that's just you want in a sitter! Cannot recommend Jillian enough!!

Schedule
I love spending time with animals both inside and outside. I will hang out with your pet and/or provide exercise for as long as you desire and am very enthusiastic and interested in animal care.
