About: I will provide a on-the-ready daycare/check-in service. Check in's will include play time engagement, spending time with them if they have been alone, walks, administer medicine if need be, and overall quality check in. I can provide these services at a moments notice with being local to Burlington, and can also provide these services over an extended period of time to suite your schedule. Daily check in's can last anywhere from 30 mins to one hour, depending on your needs. I work full time but my schedule is flexible. I have watched and cared for multiple family friends cats and dogs since my teens, as well as now helping colleagues watch their pets while traveling out of town. My experience ranges from the simple check in's; walks, playtime, feeding - to administering shots, ear spray, tic and flea medicine, etc. I currently work a hybrid schedule Mon-Thurs in office and half-day Fridays from home, moving back to full-day Friday's from home come fall. Even when in office, my schedule is flexible and I am out of work by 4pm, and can step out quick if need be throughout the day, making sudden pop-in visits easy for me. And making scheduled visits even easier. I live on a quieter street and my apartment is set back from the road, giving peace of mind when out on walks or in the yard. Crating is always an option if you are more comfortable and familiar with that.

About: I am an enthusiastic and passionate sitter who will provide great care for your pets! I love being around and interacting with all different types of animals. Over the years I’ve pet sit for many different types of animals including dogs, cats, Guinea pigs, bunnies, rats, chickens and even a chameleon :). About: I've had pets my entire life. For over 40 years, I've raised puppies and kitties into well-behaved, loved members of my family. I have some experience giving medicine and training. I work from home 4 days of the work week and even on the day that I’m away, pets are never left alone for more than 5-6 hours a day, which is rare at that. I walk our dog daily and there is plenty of time to go out and play in a fenced yard multiples times during the day. As mentioned above, we lets our dogs get plenty of fresh air and exercise and they are rarely alone for long stretches at a time. If I'm taking care of a pet in their own home, those pets can get walks and regular visits based on their needs.

“Our 6 year old GSD, Flynn, has been with Chad since he was 4 months old. Up until a few months ago in a doggie day care, and now spending 2 days a week with him in a more 1:1 setting. Chad's calm, nurturing demeanor and unwavering patience and consistency with our often anxious and always energetic guy makes such a huge different for our family. Flynn's 2 days a week with Chad mean that he is a calmer, happier, less anxious dog at home. All of this being said, I think the biggest recommendation that we could give would be that whether it was at day care drop off or Chad pulling into our driveway for a visit, Flynn can never get to Chad fast enough. I would fit pet sitting into my daily/ weekly routine but ensuring all animals are fed and have water. I will give them some play time. If walks are needed I will ensure I arrive earlier to give any dogs walks. I have two cats. Athena and Vixen Both girls are on a strict routine. They get fed wet food twice a day and dry food once. Their wet food includes multivitamins, probiotics and allergy medications. Both cats have separate diets that best suit their needs. I ensure all things for them are done before starting my day. e.i Litterboxes, water refills, medications, food and play time. Upon arriving home I greet them and play for about 30min-1hr.

About: Grew up on a farm in rural Vermont, taking care of 15-20 barn cats, chickens, ducks, rabbits, a senior dog, and the occasional puppy! I currently work as a preK-8th music teacher, but I am free for pet care late afternoon-evening on weekdays, and free anytime Friday-Sunday. About: Hi! I’m Logan. A little bit about me- I am a junior at UVM studying art education. I currently work at a preschool summer camp in Richmond, VT. I’ve owned dogs and cats for my whole life and since I was old enough I have been taking care of my family pets. I currently live with my own cat here in Vermont and my family has 2 dogs and 1 cat in my hometown. When I was living at home I would regularly walk, play, feed, bathe, and love my pets. Right now I only do that for my cat! I have administered pill oral medication to my cat and dog; and have administered syringe oral meds to my cat. I have cared for my senior dog who passed away at 13 from old age. I have 2 years of experience in caring for senior horses. I would care for them by feeding, administering medication, preparing for farrier visits, grooming, and mucking stalls. Due to them being senior horses they were not able to be regularly exercised. I have always had a deep appreciation for all animals yet this experience made my heart grow bigger for all different types of animals. Reach out if you would like me to help care for your pets! I am available before 8am and after 5pm on M/T/W/Th for drop in visits. I am only able to do walks after 5pm on those days. I am available all day on F/S/Su for drop ins and walks. I care for my own cat by providing her with at least 15 minutes of play time 3 times a day. I feed her breakfast and dinner at a scheduled window of time each day. I give her the medication she needs put into her food with dinner daily, as well as cleaning her litter daily. The most important thing for me when caring for your pet is following your instructions and boundaries! In addition to that I will take them on walks, have play time, and feed them!
About: I love pets. Ever since I was little, playing with my pets and taking care of them gave me a sense of importance. To help do so for members of my community would be a great way to reconnect with the simple pleasures of quality pet time. I currently work full-time 4 days a week. The other three days of the week I have incredible flexibility. On the days that I do work, I can flexible in the mornings until 12, 12:30 latest. “This was our first time using Rover and my wife and I were a little uneasy about the service. However, as soon as we meet Alex and Pete, we knew they would take great care of our dog and they did. Our dog loved staying at Pete and Alex's place. Pete and Alex are very kind, caring, and loving dog sitters. They took wonderful care of our dog. Our dog also had a great time staying at their place and came home happy and tucker out from all the outdoors fun. We have a senior dog with a few health issues to pay attention to and Alex and Pete easily took care of our dogs needs. We fully recommend Pete and Alex and definitely ask them to watch our dog again. I think our dog had such a great time that he was a little disappointed to return to the city”
