“Our sweet Vera was recovering from ACL repair, and we are deeply grateful to Deb for taking care of her so beautifully while we attended a 3 day series of wedding events. She made sure Vera had walks of the length and nature she is permitted and cuddled her at night when she needed reassurance about our absence. Her home is incredibly suited to doggie fun and safety with a fenced play yard and even a poo;l on her deck for hot days. Vera loved sitting in the pool while cooling off during our recent heat spell. Deb's extensive knowledge of dog behavior provided new insights to us; she helped us understand some of Vera's responses when we arrived and affirmed the findings of our pet shrink (yes we had one when she was a puppy). Frequent photos and updates from Deb not only exceeded expectations but they also reassured us during a difficult time for leaving Vera. About: As a lifelong animal lover with years of experience, I have had the pleasure of caring for a wide range of pets, including dogs, cats, and small animals. About: I am hoping to find a family with a dog (or dogs) that I can walk a few days a week every week. I grew up with a Saint Bernard and now two corgis, so I am used to all shapes and sizes of dogs. I have a big fluffy black cat of my own named King Louis. “Bianca was kind and came by beforehand for a rundown, which was much appreciated! She is clearly a cat person who is dedicated to her pet sitting commitments. I removed a star because she had a last minute mix up with her work schedule and texted us the morning we were leaving to let us know she could not come within the agreed upon time window, which left us scrambling calling neighbors and friends asking for backup. She ended up getting her work schedule moved around to make it work, which we really appreciated, but she was not able to stay the full 30 minutes at that time. This delayed us leaving on our trip by about two hours, which was a challenging start for us. With that being said, we really appreciated Bianca going above and beyond to get her work schedule moved around when things went awry.”

About: I've had pets my entire life. For over 40 years, I've raised puppies and kitties into well-behaved, loved members of my family. I have some experience giving medicine and training. I work from home 4 days of the work week and even on the day that I’m away, pets are never left alone for more than 5-6 hours a day, which is rare at that. I walk our dog daily and there is plenty of time to go out and play in a fenced yard multiples times during the day. As mentioned above, we lets our dogs get plenty of fresh air and exercise and they are rarely alone for long stretches at a time. If I'm taking care of a pet in their own home, those pets can get walks and regular visits based on their needs.

About: I grew up with many animals, both my own pets, and animals on my grandfather's dairy farm (he was also a vet). I live in the country in Richmond, and have cats, young kids and animals Rover won't let me name in the description...but they provide eggs. We have dogs in our "extended family" and we are well accustomed to dogs but we do not have one ourselves at this time. If your dog is 100% safe with those people and pets and well-behaved, let's talk! Independently insured. We enjoy hosting dogs, and are home most days of the week for most of the day. We enjoy walking with dogs and playing fetch (if dogs like to do that) on our hill in our yard. We would need to do a meet & greet to make sure it is a good match. Our yard is not fenced, and we are on a dirt road in the country with woods on the property and surrounding it, so dogs should not be prone to bolting etc. They must be 100% safe with young kids, cats and free range egg producers. No aggressive or reactive dogs please.

About: I have a great amount of experience with animals. I have cared for Bunnies,Rats, Birds, Reptiles, Cats and dogs as well. I’m familiar with treating senior dogs and cats. As well as younger animals. I’ve had animals my entire life. Starting May 15th. I will have a flexible availability. I would fit pet sitting into my daily/ weekly routine but ensuring all animals are fed and have water. I will give them some play time. If walks are needed I will ensure I arrive earlier to give any dogs walks. I have two cats. Athena and Vixen Both girls are on a strict routine. They get fed wet food twice a day and dry food once. Their wet food includes multivitamins, probiotics and allergy medications. Both cats have separate diets that best suit their needs. I ensure all things for them are done before starting my day. e.i Litterboxes, water refills, medications, food and play time. Upon arriving home I greet them and play for about 30min-1hr.

“Had a great experience booking daily walks for three days with Jenna. Had to book super last minute and she was kind enough to accept and be flexible with us. She provided a rover card for each walk showing how far and long they walked as well as if my dog pooped 1-2x which was rlly helpful for me. jenna also went the extra mile of feeding him and making sure he ate after his walks while also keeping him company for a good amount of time afterwards too. All of which was rlly appreciated, well communicated, and shows how much she cares! I also received a daily picture which I looked forward to everyday :) not many dog walkers would do all of this but she did. Also, it was rlly important that my dog goes on a 30 min walk once every 24 h or else he won’t eat and starts throwing up from starving himself and she responsibly did show up within the asked/ flexible time frame:) Would book another walk with her in the future”

About: I've taken care of all types of dogs throughout my life, personally owning a large Newfoundland and an Australian Cattle dog, so I have experience dealing with extremely high and low energy breeds. Im a life long animal lover who is currently pursuing my undergraduate in Animal Sciences with a focus on pre veterinarian medicine. Having 4 dogs in one home has really taught me how to read different behaviors, making sure they all feel respected and loved, I’ve learned to always keep them trained with commands and above all to make sure they’ve gotten their energy out. I currently only work 8 hour shifts on Wednesday and Fridays, all other days in the week I am available to care for your pet/s. I make sure to follow every instruction provided when caring for a pet in someone’s home. The pet’s human knows them best and it’s essential to follow all instructions to a tee. I make sure to be present with the animal during all aspects of the visit including play/free time. I’m very careful and safe with animals and I try to make sure the dog/cat’s needs are met before leaving the home.
About: I've always loved animals and have experience caring for a variety of pets, including dogs, cats, rabbits, and fish. Although I haven't owned a dog myself, I've spent years helping neighbors and friends by feeding, walking, playing with, and caring for their pets while they were away. I carefully follow all care instructions, including feeding schedules, medications (if needed), exercise routines, and any household rules you've established. I always keep dogs securely leashed on walks unless in a designated enclosed area, and I pay close attention to their surroundings to keep them safe. When caring for pets in your home, I treat your space with respect and work to keep your pet's routine as normal as possible. “Our sweet Vera was recovering from ACL repair, and we are deeply grateful to Deb for taking care of her so beautifully while we attended a 3 day series of wedding events. She made sure Vera had walks of the length and nature she is permitted and cuddled her at night when she needed reassurance about our absence. Her home is incredibly suited to doggie fun and safety with a fenced play yard and even a poo;l on her deck for hot days. Vera loved sitting in the pool while cooling off during our recent heat spell. Deb's extensive knowledge of dog behavior provided new insights to us; she helped us understand some of Vera's responses when we arrived and affirmed the findings of our pet shrink (yes we had one when she was a puppy). Frequent photos and updates from Deb not only exceeded expectations but they also reassured us during a difficult time for leaving Vera. “Hannah was the best! She's so understanding. I drove up to Vermont to visit family & Gizmo had to stay with her. During drop off, she thoroughly went over everything he may need during his stay & at pick up, he was prepared & ready to go for our 5 hr drive back home. She sent pictures & provided updates. I can tell she truly treated him like her own. Gizmo was so happy during his stay. Hannah even sent him home with his favorite toy that he found at her house. About: As a lifelong animal lover with years of experience, I have had the pleasure of caring for a wide range of pets, including dogs, cats, and small animals. My experience spans from handling playful puppies to providing tender care for senior pets from friends and family for over five years. I am free this July until August and otherwise I will be going to UVM this fall so my availability will vary based on my schedule. I’m not planning on taking any pets to my house since it is not pet safe. I will gladly though pet sit in your house.
