I can provide these services at a moments notice with being local to Burlington, and can also provide these services over an extended period of time to suite your schedule. Daily check in's can last anywhere from 30 mins to one hour, depending on your needs. I work full time but my schedule is flexible. I have watched and cared for multiple family friends cats and dogs since my teens, as well as now helping colleagues watch their pets while traveling out of town. My experience ranges from the simple check in's; walks, playtime, feeding - to administering shots, ear spray, tic and flea medicine, etc. I currently work a hybrid schedule Mon-Thurs in office and half-day Fridays from home, moving back to full-day Friday's from home come fall. Even when in office, my schedule is flexible and I am out of work by 4pm, and can step out quick if need be throughout the day, making sudden pop-in visits easy for me. And making scheduled visits even easier. I live on a quieter street and my apartment is set back from the road, giving peace of mind when out on walks or in the yard. Crating is always an option if you are more comfortable and familiar with that.

About: Aside from growing up with multiple cats my whole life, I have also helped friends and family friends with their cats as well. From pop in visits, to spending time with them, it's given me a lot of experience with all kinds of cats. With a calm demeanor, I'm sometimes lucky in getting grumpy cats to come up to me too. About: I've had pets my entire life. For over 40 years, I've raised puppies and kitties into well-behaved, loved members of my family. I have some experience giving medicine and training. I work from home 4 days of the work week and even on the day that I’m away, pets are never left alone for more than 5-6 hours a day, which is rare at that. I walk our dog daily and there is plenty of time to go out and play in a fenced yard multiples times during the day. As mentioned above, we lets our dogs get plenty of fresh air and exercise and they are rarely alone for long stretches at a time. If I'm taking care of a pet in their own home, those pets can get walks and regular visits based on their needs.

About: I grew up with many animals, both my own pets, and animals on my grandfather's dairy farm (he was also a vet). I live in the country in Richmond, and have cats, young kids and animals Rover won't let me name in the description...but they provide eggs. We have dogs in our "extended family" and we are well accustomed to dogs but we do not have one ourselves at this time. If your dog is 100% safe with those people and pets and well-behaved, let's talk! Independently insured. We enjoy hosting dogs, and are home most days of the week for most of the day. We enjoy walking with dogs and playing fetch (if dogs like to do that) on our hill in our yard. We would need to do a meet & greet to make sure it is a good match. Our yard is not fenced, and we are on a dirt road in the country with woods on the property and surrounding it, so dogs should not be prone to bolting etc. They must be 100% safe with young kids, cats and free range egg producers. No aggressive or reactive dogs please.

She provided a rover card for each walk showing how far and long they walked as well as if my dog pooped 1-2x which was rlly helpful for me. jenna also went the extra mile of feeding him and making sure he ate after his walks while also keeping him company for a good amount of time afterwards too. About: I have a great amount of experience with animals. I have cared for Bunnies,Rats, Birds, Reptiles, Cats and dogs as well. I’m familiar with treating senior dogs and cats. As well as younger animals. I’ve had animals my entire life. Starting May 15th. I will have a flexible availability. I would fit pet sitting into my daily/ weekly routine but ensuring all animals are fed and have water. I will give them some play time. If walks are needed I will ensure I arrive earlier to give any dogs walks. I have two cats. Athena and Vixen Both girls are on a strict routine. They get fed wet food twice a day and dry food once. Their wet food includes multivitamins, probiotics and allergy medications. Both cats have separate diets that best suit their needs. I ensure all things for them are done before starting my day. e.i Litterboxes, water refills, medications, food and play time. Upon arriving home I greet them and play for about 30min-1hr.

I’ve owned dogs and cats for my whole life and since I was old enough I have been taking care of my family pets. I currently live with my own cat here in Vermont and my family has 2 dogs and 1 cat in my hometown. When I was living at home I would regularly walk, play, feed, bathe, and love my pets. Right now I only do that for my cat! I have administered pill oral medication to my cat and dog; and have administered syringe oral meds to my cat. I have cared for my senior dog who passed away at 13 from old age. I have 2 years of experience in caring for senior horses. I would care for them by feeding, administering medication, preparing for farrier visits, grooming, and mucking stalls. Due to them being senior horses they were not able to be regularly exercised. I have always had a deep appreciation for all animals yet this experience made my heart grow bigger for all different types of animals. Reach out if you would like me to help care for your pets! I am available before 8am and after 5pm on M/T/W/Th for drop in visits. I am only able to do walks after 5pm on those days. I am available all day on F/S/Su for drop ins and walks. I care for my own cat by providing her with at least 15 minutes of play time 3 times a day. I feed her breakfast and dinner at a scheduled window of time each day. I give her the medication she needs put into her food with dinner daily, as well as cleaning her litter daily. The most important thing for me when caring for your pet is following your instructions and boundaries! In addition to that I will take them on walks, have play time, and feed them!
About: I specialize in senior dogs and reactive pets. My own dog is a reactive rescue dog for whom I have cared for for 5 years to date. I am especially good with dealing with reactive dogs that are fearful or do not do well with other dogs, and will always find a way to get a pet to take it's medicine. About: I’ve been taking care of family dogs as well as those of friends, neighbours, and extended family for about 15 years. I’m a lover of dogs of all sizes and breeds, and doing activities from walking, hiking, running, playing and even just chilling on the couch! Over the last couple of years I’ve been watching a few different senior dogs over night for long periods of time, providing medications and other remedies they may need. Hello! In regards to care in your home, I am able to stay over night, check in daily or even just walk your pet when needed! I have a car so I can meet just about anywhere and I’m happy to take your pet on little adventures if desired. I love to stay active so playing, walking, hiking, running and swimming are some of my favourite activities to do! However if needed I can kick my feet up and be a homebody for the more lazy pups.

Everyone has their own personality and experiences, so do animals. I'm caretaking for pets full time! I live in South Burlington can do walks or check-in's for locations near my home. I'm available on the weekends for longer sessions as well. I am happy to come to your home or office. I am available to care for your dog or cat in your home and can stay for extended periods within a 45min driving distance of Burlington. I love being active so am happy to take them hiking, running, or out for a gentle walk. I am unable to care for pets at my home.
About: I’m a student at the University of Vermont who currently lives in Burlington. I’m trying to make money for college and I know that this job would be perfect for me! I’ve had a dog my whole life, and I’ve absolutely adored taking care of them. I’m good with all types as well, I currently have a low-energy chocolate lab mix and a high-energy rescue as well. I can deal quite easily with messes and certain necessities like diapers/medications/dietary needs. If your dog is reactive, I know lots about that as well and am willing to do anything to make them more comfortable. My current course schedule is very laid back, so I have plenty of free time to take care of your animals! I’m free essentially every day, bedsides Mondays. My 2 dogs currently have a fenced in backyard which they love to use to play fetch. I have a dual-ended leash as well for walks with them both. I throughly enjoy taking them out to trails for new scenery as well! I often bring collapsible water bowls and such on walks as well. I love taking pictures of animals, so you’ll certainly get updates from me! If you ever want to FaceTime me to see how your pet is doing as well, I’m totally fine with that! About: I love pets. Ever since I was little, playing with my pets and taking care of them gave me a sense of importance. To help do so for members of my community would be a great way to reconnect with the simple pleasures of quality pet time. I currently work full-time 4 days a week. The other three days of the week I have incredible flexibility. On the days that I do work, I can flexible in the mornings until 12, 12:30 latest. I will be unable to have pets at my own home due to landlord requests. But, I have ample experience walking dogs and ensuring they are properly supervised. I also am incredibly active and a strong individual, callable of heavy lifting and can mitigate any dragging from a leash.

About: Growing up, we always had two dogs and a cat. I quickly became the designated dog walker of the family which then lead me into dog sitting for family friends and neighbors. In college I used to walk dogs through WAG and had a blast. I'm used to dogs of all sizes and temperaments. I love animals and watching after them as a side gig is so fun! I work part time, so on the days that I have off, I can easily work in a few pets that need care and TLC! I follow the instructions I am given by the pets owner and I respect their home as if it was mine. If a pet is in my home, I make sure nothing chewable or food is left out to prevent any issues.

About: I will provide a on-the-ready daycare/check-in service. Check in's will include play time engagement, spending time with them if they have been alone, walks, administer medicine if need be, and overall quality check in. I can provide these services at a moments notice with being local to Burlington, and can also provide these services over an extended period of time to suite your schedule. Daily check in's can last anywhere from 30 mins to one hour, depending on your needs. I work full time but my schedule is flexible. I have watched and cared for multiple family friends cats and dogs since my teens, as well as now helping colleagues watch their pets while traveling out of town. My experience ranges from the simple check in's; walks, playtime, feeding - to administering shots, ear spray, tic and flea medicine, etc. I currently work a hybrid schedule Mon-Thurs in office and half-day Fridays from home, moving back to full-day Friday's from home come fall. Even when in office, my schedule is flexible and I am out of work by 4pm, and can step out quick if need be throughout the day, making sudden pop-in visits easy for me. And making scheduled visits even easier. I live on a quieter street and my apartment is set back from the road, giving peace of mind when out on walks or in the yard. Crating is always an option if you are more comfortable and familiar with that.
