About: I’ve grown up caring for pets and currently have a dog and two cats back home, so I understand the daily responsibility and love they require. Having cared for an animal with a disease, I also know the importance of proper treatment and attention. I bring this same level of dedication to every pet I look after, ensuring they feel safe, happy, and well-cared for on every walk. I’m currently a university student doing research this summer. I have free time in the afternoons and evenings! The weekends are also pretty available for me! I have quite a bit of time to play with your pup/kitty! I will give your pets speciality care! I am a calm and caring person and will make sure that your animal is in the best hands. In my home I ensure that my dog has ample walks each day because I understand how important physical activity is for animals, and I will devote the upmost attention to your pets as well!

About: I have taken care of pets most of my life. I have had dogs since I was 5 and am comfortable with dogs of all backgrounds and sizes. I know that every pet has a unique personality, needs, and quirks, and I take the time to get to know each one. My goal is to provide easygoing, loving care that helps your pet feel secure, happy, and relaxed while you are away. I'm currently a college student interning at Williston Recreation and Parks for the summer. I have a pretty consistent schedule, though there are sometimes last-minute changes. Most of the time, I have a pretty consistent schedule and work 4 hours a day, usually in the morning and sometimes into the early afternoon. So the afternoon would be great time-wise. When it comes to dogs, their safety is my top priority. I put in the effort to make sure every pup in my care has a happy, healthy, and safe experience. I stick to their routines, keep things clean and secure, and always treat each dog with love and patience. Good communication is key, so I’m always up for sharing updates and keeping you in the loop!

About: I’ve been surrounded by dogs nearly my entire life, and have served as one of the primary caretakers in my family for almost all of the dogs we’ve had. I’ve taken care of dogs of all types and ages from puppies to seniors and chihuahuas to huskies I work on a contract basis and have more free time than time I’m working. I often have full weeks off and can spend that whole time with your pets. I have a cozy apartment with plenty of space for a dog, big or small. I have room to put a crate or dog bed if needed. I’d also feel comfortable staying in your home if that’s what is best for you and your dog.

A lot of space for a dog bed or crate to be in the bedroom or even sleep in the bed. I have a private yard that is set away from the street and other neighbors with friendly dogs. I follow each pet’s normal routine to help them feel comfortable and secure. I provide plenty of attention, playtime, walks, fresh food and water, and lots of love. I also keep owners updated with photos and messages so they can feel confident their pet is happy and well cared for while they’re away.

About: I have taken care of my own dogs for many years now I have 2 rescues and am comfortable with any breed. I have experience with my own reactive dogs and am open to any opportunities. I also have cared for chickens, snakes, cats, fish, and rodents of all kinds. I am an online masters student who works as a special education paraeducator for the burlington school district! About: Growing up, we always had two dogs and a cat. I quickly became the designated dog walker of the family which then lead me into dog sitting for family friends and neighbors. In college I used to walk dogs through WAG and had a blast. I'm used to dogs of all sizes and temperaments. I love animals and watching after them as a side gig is so fun! I work part time, so on the days that I have off, I can easily work in a few pets that need care and TLC! I follow the instructions I am given by the pets owner and I respect their home as if it was mine. If a pet is in my home, I make sure nothing chewable or food is left out to prevent any issues.

About: I have been my friends and some families go to house and pet sitter for a very long time. While I mostly have experience with cats and dogs I like to take care of all pets. I like to take pictures to catch the funny moments. While I am in school this give good flexibility for dropins/walking and overnight stays letting me easily fit into you and your pets schedule. While I can't take care of your pet in my home, I can do house sitting and dropins/walks. I am familiar with complex nutrition requirements for different animals as well.

About: I specialize in senior dogs and reactive pets. My own dog is a reactive rescue dog for whom I have cared for for 5 years to date. I am especially good with dealing with reactive dogs that are fearful or do not do well with other dogs, and will always find a way to get a pet to take it's medicine. I have another job with an atypical work schedule. Typically, I am travelling and unavailable for 10-12 days each month for work. When I am home I am completely flexible and am able to watch your pets on short notice. Please see my availability for details. Creating a space in which both you and your pet are comfortable is absolutely paramount. With my own dog, I am accustomed to taking her on 3-4 long walks in the woods each day and feeding her in the morning and early evening. Each pet is singular, so I typically request a short informational meeting or phone call with the caretaker prior to sitting so that I can ensure maximum comfort and ease for both you and your pet.

About: Hi, I'm Elissa! I'm a lifelong animal lover who's been pet sitting on Rover on and off for nearly 10 years, depending on where life has taken me. These days I work from home, which gives me the flexibility to spend more time caring for pets while saving for a wedding. I grew up with dogs, so caring for them has always come naturally. Most of my Rover experience has been with dogs of all ages, sizes and personalities… including puppies, high-energy herding breeds, senior dogs, reactive dogs, and pets recovering from surgery or taking medications. Rasied many dogs from puppies and am familiar with positive reinforcement training, crate training, and clicker training. Experienced with dogs that are people and/or dog shy and know how to handle the situation. I do not believe in such a thing as naturally aggressive dogs. Everyone has their own personality and experiences, so do animals. I'm caretaking for pets full time! I live in South Burlington can do walks or check-in's for locations near my home. I'm available on the weekends for longer sessions as well. I am happy to come to your home or office. I am available to care for your dog or cat in your home and can stay for extended periods within a 45min driving distance of Burlington. About: Hi there, my name is MJ and I'm interested in help you with your doggos, or just your one and only pupper. I have been around dogs all my life. From chihuahuas, to pitties, a Rhodesian Ridgeback (yeah, they have a lot to say. Lol...), to your average American mutt, I seriously love all dogs. For the ones that just want the basics to those who are super charged, I can match their energy. I'm available for drop-in feedings, walks, and play-time. Have a doggo that needs a little extra attention, no problem I don't mind hanging out for a few hours, so you can run errands doggo free, appointment that might be long, or just need to escape for a bit. I am flexible between the hours of 8:30am-5pm, if you are in Shelburne village I can be a bit more flexible until 8pm. Overnight stay can be arranged with at least 2+ weeks notice. We have 2 fabulous felines, Zen & Leia, that are our fur babes!! We start every morning with feeding & water changes. Toy & fun, scritches & snuggles, sometimes even a cat nap. We make our own cat food as well. I have cared for personal family pets, friends pets (dogs, cats, fish, smallies.). I am very professional and enjoy being around animals very much. We have 2 cats, Zen Vader and Princess Leia. We also have a ball python, Ms. Bea Arthur. Caring for animals brings me so much joy, and I love the thank yous of butt wiggles and a purring machine.

About: I have been an animal activist for many years and there is nothing I like more than walking dogs. I have been pet sitting and dog walking for my friends, neighbors, and coworkers since I was 12 years old. I work a 9-5 M-F, but I would love to swing by in the morning, evening, or any time on the weekends to walk your dogs. I am also happy to walk more than 30 minutes with your dog; I love going on long walks. I have experience looking after other animals too: cats, birds, fish--even cows!
