About: My name is Amelia and I am in college studying animal sciences. I have experience with dogs walking, cat and fish care, and would love to help you and your pets out in any way I can! I’m currently a full time student, so I can pop in and out mid morning and in between classes throughout the week. I will make sure the animal gets a good chunk of my time and attention and will make sure not to rush them. It’s important the animal is safe and stimulated while I am with them. If I am dropping in to feed or take care of your pet I will ensure a clean environment and that they are enriched until a caretaker returns. If I am taking your pet on a walk I will cater to the dogs temperament and endurance. The pet’s experience (and their bathroom/food needs) is optimized.

About: I grew up on a farm around all kinds of animals, so caring for them has always been second nature to me. I’ve loved and cared for many dogs of all sizes and personalities, and I genuinely enjoy making animals feel safe, comfortable, and cared for. I have a flexible schedule as I am in between jobs right now and have plenty of availability for pet care, walks, check-ins, and overnight stays. I try to keep pets as comfortable and relaxed as possible by sticking closely to their normal routines. Whether I’m caring for pets in their home or mine, I make sure they get plenty of attention, exercise, play, affection, and a calm environment. I also understand how important communication is, so I like to keep owners updated with photos and check-ins while they’re away.

About: Hi my name is Lily and I am an avid animal lover! I am an experienced professional dog walker and pet sitter. I have worked professionally for a local dog walking and pet sitting company in my hometown of Richmond, Virginia and this was easily my favorite job ever! I love the canine companionship and have been a dog owner and care giver since I was very young. I have grown up around dogs (very big and very small) and always loved helping my family raise our dogs throughout childhood and into raising my own cat and dogs for the past 20+ years. I have a small chihuahua named Lola who I rescued from the Richmond VA SPCA 11 years ago. She's very sweet and loves play dates with other dogs but never minds hanging back at home with the rest of her pack. She enjoys shorter walks in her senior years and can often be found soaking up the sun and recharging in the backyard in the warmer months. For six years Lola had a close chi companion named Paco who I rescued from Tennessee in 2020 who is unfortunately no longer with us. He sadly lost his battle with congestive heart failure in January 2026 and Lola and I miss him so much everyday. In Paco's early rescue months it took a lot of time and compassion for him to open up into the sweet boy he was. He lived a very happy and fulfilled life until the end. Helping him blossom into the best, most perfect chi, was easily one of the most rewarding experiences of my life. Lola and I have settled in South Burlington, Vermont and despite the cold winter months, we love our new home! In addition to being a professional dog walker and pet sitter with Barksley back in Virginia, I have also provided pet care for my friends and families fur babies for many years now. I am naturally an active person and love going on long walks in the neighborhood or just hanging out in the yard playing fetch. Do you love the dog park? I do too! I have great doggie transportation with ample room in the back of my Subaru Forester for your pup to relax in if the adventure takes us on the road. Your pet will be sure to be in the best hands with me on any adventure we go on and I look forward to playing fetch with them in the future! As a long time dog owner Iv always kept a daily routine based around caring for my pets. That usually means early mornings letting the pups out and feeding them before getting the day started. We always go on our daily dog walk and on the weekends my pups love an adventure outdoors. I have a Petcube camera and baby gates that keep my pups safe while I’m away. We allow our pets on the furniture and love snuggling up to them. They also have many beds available for snuggling if they want as well. We keep fresh water available in multiple spots throughout the house. When I’m dog sitting or boarding I make sure to ask the owner what their pet prefers in terms of a bed or crate. I also make sure to get any information on feeding and potty breaks, or any other funny quirks I would need to know about your fur baby! While boarding dogs, I make sure to check in on the pet cube camera if i ever need to spend any amount of time away.

About: Here’s what sets me apart— and why your dog will love coming with me! These aren’t ordinary around the block walks. Your dog will head into the woods to explore and experience nature the way they’re meant to. From fresh scents and flowing rivers to tall grass and scenic climbs, every outing is designed to fully engage their body and mind. Each hike ranges from 2-5 miles, so your dog comes home truly satisfied and pleasantly tired— not just a little restless and ready for more. Give your dog the adventure they’ve been waiting for! I am available Monday through Friday between 3pm and 6pm for walks as well as Saturday and Sundays for boarding or walks throughout the day. I have three dogs that love to play with other dogs and exploring the many different mountains here in Vermont. I grew up always having at least six dogs among many other animals so adding more dogs to the pack for the day or weekend isn’t that big a deal. I just want to be able to give someone else’s dog a fun time because all dogs deserve to run around sniffling whatever their hearts desire. Most importantly if your dog is going to board in our home, they MUST be house trained. i know it can be hard to get out during the week for working pawrents. While I don't have a fenced yard your pets will be safe. I make sure to leash any dog before opening the door. I also make sure to take any dog in my care to a safe place where they are able to get the exercise they need.if they are not recall trained dogs will be kept on leashes long enough to still run and play safely!

About: I’ve had cats and dogs my whole life, and have taken care of neighbors’ pets for many years. I am active, and can take your dog for walks and runs! About: I’ve been taking care of various animals since I turned 13. I’ve been trusted to walk multiple dogs at one time, care for senior cats and administer medicine to special needs animals. I have a big love for all animals and make sure to give every pet the love they deserve. I’m heading into my junior year at the University of Vermont studying wildlife/fisheries biology and animal science. I’m living downtown but I have a car and am excited to give some love to your pets!! Im working part time and am very flexible when it comes to providing love to your furry friends! I’d be more than happy to do drop ins, overnights or daily/weekly dog walks! As always, it depends on the pets individual needs but Im a very active person who enjoys taking dogs for long walks and runs and accommodating their needs! I have a car so can travel to your dog and also drive them to fun new places (rail trails and hikes).

About: I’ve taken care of dogs for as long as I can remember! my parents owned a dog rescue when I was growing up and i’ve always had at least one personal dog of my own. I have a lot of experience with all different breeds as well as ages of dogs and have dog sat for a number of people anywhere from 1 night to 3 weeks! Pet care easily fits into my daily routine. If I am at someone’s house, I treat their animal like my own and provide the best care possible. I care for the pets in my home by walking them, cuddling with them, playing with them, and of course feeding them. I am more than comfortable crating animals, giving them medication, or any other sort of expectation.

About: I love pets. Ever since I was little, playing with my pets and taking care of them gave me a sense of importance. To help do so for members of my community would be a great way to reconnect with the simple pleasures of quality pet time. I currently work full-time 4 days a week. The other three days of the week I have incredible flexibility. On the days that I do work, I can flexible in the mornings until 12, 12:30 latest. I will be unable to have pets at my own home due to landlord requests. But, I have ample experience walking dogs and ensuring they are properly supervised. I also am incredibly active and a strong individual, callable of heavy lifting and can mitigate any dragging from a leash.

About: My family and I have taken care of neighbors and friend's pets since I was a teenager. I am trustworthy and responsible and work as a social worker as my day job - it's very stressful for a dog or cat to be away from it's owner, and I care a great deal about making sure animals are comfortable and well taken care of. References available upon request. I currently am working full-time Monday-Friday so I would be best suited to take care of cats or dogs who can stay home for a little while. I am available evenings and have open availability on weekends for all services. In terms of walking gigs, I am available any weekday after 430 pm and any time during the weekends. Communication is key and not just about your pup or cat, but also your home! Although, I'm unable to care for pets in my home as I am currently caring for a bird, I always strive to respect people's homes and their spaces. Ensuring cleanliness and safety of the home environment are also hugely important to me as a sitter.

About: My aunts and friends have always had dogs, so growing up I had a lot of experience with a wide variety of animals. I’ve helped my aunt train her excited Chocolate Lab puppy, taken care of my friend’s barky, 11 pound Mini Pinscher while they were away, and helped feed, walk, and play with my own household’s anxious, raw diet mut, Sheila. I know how to love and take care of any type of dog—from loudly outgoing to shy! I just finished my sophomore year of college and am looking to help care for anyone’s pets this summer. My schedule is open, so I am flexible to visit your pet whenever you need! I will gladly take your dog on a nice long walk and play with them around your backyard to release any pent up energy! Inside, I’m also up for playing with toys and giving lots of pets!
