“My first experience with Rover with John was unbelievably perfect. John sent pictures and videos, gave exercise to my puppy for two days of daycare, and both days Honey came back exhausted and happy! John’s family helped to keep an eye on Honey too, while the pups were a perfect match for her. I HIGHLY recommend john to anyone who needs help watching their dog!”

“Was in a bind and needed a last minute first time sitter for our 7 month old pup. Brooke graciously accepted and took great care of him. He had a great day playing with Bailey and enjoyed some time snoozing as well! From a cautious puppy owner there are undoubtedly worries dropping them off for the first time, and we can’t express enough gratitude and thanks to Brooke for taking such great care of our very large and energetic pup!”

“Dillion was great, communicated well and Enzo was well taken care of. Very nice backyard for the dogs to play and his two dogs were friendly and they all got along great! Would recommend and definitely book with Dillon again.”

“We so appreciate the thoughtful care Tedi received with Rosan and Rhea. The photo updates Rhea sent are some of the most animated shots we have of Tedi's playful engagement with another dog.”

“Louis & Haley put Archie at ease right away with their calm, welcoming manner. It was his first visit and I left him for 3.5 hours. He was calm and happy when I picked him up. I know he would be happy to go back and hang with them again.”

About: Hi! I'm Nicolas. I am home full-time, which allows me to spend plenty of time with the dogs and cats I care for. We live in a large two-story house in South Burlington with a big yard where dogs can run and play safely. Please note that since I have a 20-month-old son, any dog staying with us must be completely comfortable and safe around young children. As a stay-at-home dad, I am at the house full-time, making it incredibly easy to fit dedicated pet care into my daily routine. I offer specialized services tailored to your pets' needs, including both cat and dog boarding at my home, where your furry friends will enjoy constant company and plenty of attention throughout the day. I also offer dog walking and 30 to 60-minute home visits at your location. Whether it's strictly following feeding and medication schedules, managing frequent potty breaks, or taking your dog out for a great walk to break up their day, you can rest assured your companions will receive premium care while staying completely on their regular routine. In my home: Your pets will have plenty of room to comfortable and safe in our large two-story house. Since I am home full-time, I provide constant supervision and companionship throughout the day. I ensure a safe, organized environment for both visiting dogs and cats, strictly following their regular feeding, potty, litter, and medication schedules so they feel right at home. At your home: I follow your exact instructions to respect your pet's routine, whether I am dropping by for a 30 to 60-minute visit or taking your dog out for a walk. About: My partner Jennifer and I raised our dog Echo from puppyhood and are experienced in positive reinforcement training. Now we provide a safe, enriching environment for dogs to run and play in our fenced yard. I have lived with dogs for most of my life and consider them to be members of the family. Not only will your pup receive constant affection and supervision, but I hope they will also find a new best friend in Echo. If you're looking for daycare with a playmate, let me know and we'll set up a meet-and-greet! I work from home and can look after your dog most weekdays and weekends during the day. A typical day includes playtime in the yard and multiple neighborhood walks. We offer daycare at our home on a quiet street in Burlington. We only take one dog at a time and require a meet-and-greet to ensure your dog is comfortable and compatible with our dog Echo. All dogs must be up to date on vaccinations, tick and flea preventatives, and house trained.
“Chad has been taking care of Aspen since she was about 4 or 5 months old. He has worked with her and myself on her reactivity and meeting other dogs and strangers. I believe he saved my dog and I. I wouldn't trust anyone else with her. I followed him to Rover from the daycare he essentially started and was forced to shut down. And I will follow him when he starts his own. He is trustworthy, reliable, kind, compassionate and SO intelligent and well educated on dog behavior and body language. Aspen loves her days with Chad and she is wiped out until the next day!”

“Alma was very accommodating to our itinerary while we were on vacation. She took excellent care of our two Pomeranians. We’d definitely use her again to care for our dogs on our next ski trip.”

“We had a very very last minute need for a dog sitter and we were so fortunate to find Pete and Alex. They communicated so well and were so pleasant and welcoming! Leo had the absolute best time and came home tired out!”
“Meghan was responsive and caring for beaker, flexible with pick up and drop off hours, kept me updated all day. Beaker and her dog played great together, will definitely reach out again!”

“Hannah was amazing with our pup!! We scheduled last minute and she was super friendly and nice with the whole process! And gave us updates on our dog! Couldn’t recommend her more!”

About: I grew up with many animals, both my own pets, and animals on my grandfather's dairy farm (he was also a vet). I live in the country in Richmond, and have cats, young kids and animals Rover won't let me name in the description...but they provide eggs. We have dogs in our "extended family" and we are well accustomed to dogs but we do not have one ourselves at this time. If your dog is 100% safe with those people and pets and well-behaved, let's talk! Independently insured. We enjoy hosting dogs, and are home most days of the week for most of the day. We enjoy walking with dogs and playing fetch (if dogs like to do that) on our hill in our yard. We would need to do a meet & greet to make sure it is a good match. Our yard is not fenced, and we are on a dirt road in the country with woods on the property and surrounding it, so dogs should not be prone to bolting etc. They must be 100% safe with young kids, cats and free range egg producers. No aggressive or reactive dogs please.

About: I am an enthusiastic and passionate sitter who will provide great care for your pets! I love being around and interacting with all different types of animals. Over the years I’ve pet sit for many different types of animals including dogs, cats, Guinea pigs, bunnies, rats, chickens and even a chameleon :). I volunteer at the humane society every weekend where I provide care for small animals and cats as well as walk dogs. I have a puppy named Ellie who my boyfriend and I rescued. She's adorable but she has all that puppy energy. I can wait to care for your animals and I hope to establish a relationship and spend quality time with each pet I watch or walk. I am a Cellular molecular and biomedical science PhD student at UVM. Currently I am working from home writing my thesis so I have a lot of flexibility with scheduling. I will not be offering boarding but will be happy to stay with your pets at your house so they can stay in an environment they are comfortable in.
“Andrea was great! We had a last minute reservation and she accommodated us. Otto can be finicky with other dogs, but Andrea had him acclimated and included with the pack in a few hours. We'll be seeking her again!”

About: I’ve had dogs since I was a toddler. I currently have an almost 1-year old big goofy catahoula leopard/pitbull mix. I routinely dog sit for extended family and I have fostered for a local dog rescue. One of my favorite activities is taking a dog for a nice neighborhood walk or an active hike. If your dog comes here for a stay, they are treated as a member of the family. They’re welcome to lounge on the couch and we even love to bring them on outings with us if your dog would enjoy it. I’m a full time mom so I have a fairly flexible schedule for adding in dog walks. If your dog is ok with kiddos joining, I can be even more accommodating. I currently have a puppy who could accompany me on walks or drop-ins if you think your dog could benefit from seeing a play buddy. If not, I can do some quality 1:1 time with your pooch.

Jericho dog parents share their Rover experiences
Danielle was amazing! Her little spot for furry friends was fantastic. We got our new pup in October and wanted some support during the days we were skiing in VT. Our Piper had the most amazing time. She was excited to go each day and came home tired and happy. We would definitely hook again when in the area.

Hannah was fantastic and her home, neighborhood and garden were a beautiful spot for Wally to spend the day! When I picked him up at the end of the day I could see he loved Hannah and he was happy and calm. I couldn't recommend Hannah's dog sitting more - we are definitely going back!
