I work from home which allows me to provide quality care for your pet. A couple of my favorite activities are walks and hikes. They’re even better when I have a dog by my side.

Safety, trust & environment
I mainly offer care in my home. The only exceptions for me to sit in your home is if you have an elderly dog or many various animals. Your dog must be able to go up stairs. I ensure the pets get lots of love, snuggles, all the walks that are needed, and extra outside time if this is something they enjoy.

Information Danielle C. would like to know about your pet
I can only allow dogs that don’t bark. Questions I ask new clients when caring for their pets in my home: How is your pet with other dogs and animals? How is your pet in the car? Have they ever bitten another dog or person? Do you walk them on or off leash? Have they ever ran away? I provide care for up to 4 dogs at a time in my home. I always double check to make sure your dog is 100% friendly with other dogs. Please mention if your pet has any special needs or behaviors that I can account for.
A typical day
I like to take an hour walk first thing in the morning with the pets (shorter for doggos who can’t do this length). This will most likely be a nature walk or we’ll go to a nearby park for extra play time. It’s my favorite time to see what your pet is capable of and test out their tricks. Throughout the day there will be lots of play and cuddles. Ending the day with a walk to get more nature before bed.

Pet care experience
My name is Danielle and I’ve always been a huge animal lover. When my neighbors got two lab puppies in 2009 I visited them every day after school. Since I didn’t grow up with dogs I basically treated them as my own and taught them commands. This is when my dogsitting journey began at 12 years old. Both dogs had such a big impact on me which led to my passion working with animals. In fourth grade my dream job was to be a dog walker. Since then I’ve pet sat for dogs, cats, chickens, ducks, goats, rabbits, and horses for months at a time in Vermont and Hawaii. I’m a Reiki practitioner and I love offering this healing to animals I care for.
Reviews

Danielle was awesome, she took great care of Rocky!

Danielle was amazing! Her little spot for furry friends was fantastic. We got our new pup in October and wanted some support during the days we were skiing in VT. Our Piper had the most amazing time. She was excited to go each day and came home tired and happy. We would definitely hook again when in the area.

Danielle was super responsive and friendly and June loved running around with her for the day!

Danielle was such a fantastic dog sitter. So communicative and caring! Can’t recommend enough!!
