About: I adopted my own cat about 7 years ago. I added a dog to our family dynamic also, about 4 years ago. During the summer, prior to owning my own pets, I would regularly pet sit for local families, who needed someone to check in on their furry companion. During the summer and over holidays, my daughter spends a lot of time with her father. This opens up my schedule to add in extra fun activities, like checking in on your pets while you're away. I will follow any instructions given to care for your pet while you're away. Please be as specific as possible, since each pet may need specific care, or have their own routine they're accustomed to.

About: I work at a dog daycare, training, grooming, and boarding. I also foster dogs of varying temperaments and sizes, with medical and behavioral issues. All the while I am also an undergraduate student at the University of Vermont reaching for a degree in animal science pre-veterinary. And, I provide dog training and behavior modification additionally! I am currently learning at the University of Vermont full time, while also providing training courses for dogs, so I have time between classes and training for walks, and I can provide training to your pup as well if needed by bringing them to classes ! When taking on a foster or caring for boarding dogs, medications and dinner are provided at a consistent time followed by 30min of rest before walks. Also, mental enrichment is provided before walks as well in the form of a snuffle mat for foraging or a puzzle of some kind. All pups also get their own bed where they will be able to choose when they need space, however I also allow them on my bed. I crate if wanted or when leaving, but can make accommodations if otherwise noted. However, since I will not be boarding at my own house at the moment, I can follow all specifications to that of the owner.
