Our dog is used to group boarding when we go on vacation, he usually comes back smelly and all tangled up. About: I have always been around dogs and other pets since I was a baby, and have always loved and cherished them. As an adult we have raised and taken care of three cats and dogs. While in the military for 10 years, I was responsible for taking care of many other pets, especially dogs, for other service members while they traveled or deployed. My dog Nigel and I tend to make fast friends with any other dogs we meet! I recently got out of the military, and moved back home to Vermont. I am currently not working, and will be working on online college courses from home for the foreseeable future. Therefore I have a very flexible schedule, and can make all the time necessary to keep any pets entertained and well taken care of! I have a very sweet four year old male English Cream Golden Retriever, named Nigel, who loves friends more than anything (other than treats) and will be my permanent doggie daycare assistant. We have a large 2.5 acre property that is partially fenced, with large yard space to run in, and wooded nature trails in the back for walks and lots of sniffs. We are also about 5 minutes away from a beautiful dog park and miles of nature trails that we try to go to every day.

About: I’ve had dogs since I was a toddler. I currently have an almost 1-year old big goofy catahoula leopard/pitbull mix. I routinely dog sit for extended family and I have fostered for a local dog rescue. One of my favorite activities is taking a dog for a nice neighborhood walk or an active hike. If your dog comes here for a stay, they are treated as a member of the family. They’re welcome to lounge on the couch and we even love to bring them on outings with us if your dog would enjoy it. “Our 6 year old GSD, Flynn, has been with Chad since he was 4 months old. Up until a few months ago in a doggie day care, and now spending 2 days a week with him in a more 1:1 setting. Chad's calm, nurturing demeanor and unwavering patience and consistency with our often anxious and always energetic guy makes such a huge different for our family. Flynn's 2 days a week with Chad mean that he is a calmer, happier, less anxious dog at home. All of this being said, I think the biggest recommendation that we could give would be that whether it was at day care drop off or Chad pulling into our driveway for a visit, Flynn can never get to Chad fast enough. For us- that says it all!”

About: I'm someone who enjoys being around dogs and I love being able to make them happy. I have experience owning large and small dogs. I make sure to get them the exercise, play, and attention they need (and deserve)! I currently work from home and have availability during the work day to take breaks and get outside (rain or shine). Currently, I have a lovable Labradoodle and a dog that is an unknown mix, both of which are lovable and playful. Although I work during the day, I'd like to play with your dog throughout the day, at night, during the week, and on the weekends. I am looking to help with your dog while you are at work, on a date night, or out of town. I live in Milton but am willing to travel in Chittenden County and some of the Franklin County Area. I work full time during the week with the ability to flex my schedule. I am able to stop by on my way to work, pop in some time during the day, again after work and before bed time. During the weekends, my days are fairly open which allows for more flexibility. Safety and trust are very important. I would follow the expectations and maintain the routines of the owners. Therefore, this will look different in every household.

About: Hello! I’m Katie and I’m the woman petting the dog instead of socializing at the party. My fiancé Jonny and I relocated back to Lamoille county a few years ago and we’d love to watch your dog! We currently have a senior chihuahua foster fail named Pig. Before leaving Philly, Jonny worked for Happy Tails of Philly as a sitter & walker for 8 years. I was formerly the GM and Boarding Coordinator for a chain of dog daycares in Philadelphia, working for them for 4 years-so it’s safe to say we are well versed with canines! I was a foster parent with City of Elderly Love in Philly and hope to foster again now that I’ve relocated to Vermont. All of our dog experience can guarantee that not only is your dog going to be safe and comfortable with us, but will have as much fun possible! Whether that’s playing fetch in the yard, going for a walk or lounging on the couch, we are happy as long as the dogs around us are! Since becoming a foster parents to seniors dogs years ago, we have gained much knowledge and experience with special needs and administering different types of medications. I have a part time job but Jonny will be home full time for the pups with separation anxiety. About: Been taking care of animals since I was 8, grew up with a cat and then got 2 dogs and 2 cats. Adopted a puppy 2 years ago and have been helping raise her. I'm currently in school right now and just trying to make a little extra money. Can walk or feed in between classes or come over after classes for a bit. I have taken care of young puppies and kittens as well as other small animals My weekly routine is fairly flexible now, I make my own schedule.so I can be pretty accommodating at the moment. I also have my own vehicle I can't board at my place presently but I hope to be able to do so in the future. I can pet/house sit anywhere in the greater Burlington area. About: As a kid, I've always had a love for dogs and would watch my friend's dogs when out of town. My goal is to always give a dog all the attention and love they deserve, whether it's through long walks, drives, or spending some quality time cuddling. I have no problem with big or small dogs; they all deserve the same amount of love! I currently have 2 dogs (Charlie & Remi, 60lbs each), who are great with other dogs and humans. Because of the fenced yard, the dogs can take as many potty breaks as needed (or even extra outdoor playtime!). Dogs need to be able to go up and down a small set of stairs to get into the house. For dog walks, I can either take them with one of my dogs or give your pet a personalized one-on-one walk so they can make the most out of their experience.
