About: I’ve been pet sitting for about 15 years now. Briefly owning my own pet sitting and dog walking company many years ago before having children. My family and I have been fostering dogs for just over a year now and have had the joy of finding 6 dogs their forever homes. Now being a stay at home mom with some spare time on my hands, I’m looking to get into pet sitting and dog walking again to share the love of animals with my kiddos! Flexible availability as I am home most days all day. Mid mornings and early afternoons are best for walks. Overnight care in our home is available any day and night! We have 10 acres off a private road with ample space to run and enjoy walks. We also have an entirely fenced in yard for the dogs to romp as they please!
“Marissa helped out with some dog walking for me while I was away. She was excellent with my pup and flexible with my schedule and coordinated with my housesitter which was much appreciated. Recommended!”

About: I'm someone who enjoys being around dogs and I love being able to make them happy. I have experience owning large and small dogs. I make sure to get them the exercise, play, and attention they need (and deserve)! I currently work from home and have availability during the work day to take breaks and get outside (rain or shine). I have my own dog so it is part of my routine to spend time caring for her. I live in a cold-a-sac neighborhood and have over a half acre of land. I enjoy playing fetch with dogs, walking with them, or just sitting side by side being buddies. I make sure they are fed enough and always have water in their bowls!
About: Growing up with dogs and cats, I have always had four-legged friends underfoot. For neighbors and friends, I have taken care of dogs, cats, parrots, finches, rabbits, and a few others including scaled friends. I know how important regular exercise is for animals and enjoy taking my own dog to a few local parks for solo hiking. If your animal were interested in this I would be happy to drive them (with a dog-friendly seatbelt) to similar parks. As an adult pet owner, I have gotten used to administering oral medication. I am open to learning to administer injection medication, as well. My own dog is reactive and I have a couple of friends with reactive animals, so I am open to meeting others, as well as learning everything you do to take care of your own. While I have not taken care of snakes or spiders/insects myself, I am open to learning and have worked in a college biology lab where we took care of turtles, frogs, and a few other critters. Working from home most days gives me a lot of flexibility. My mornings always start with feeding my cats and taking care of their space and then tending to my dog before I get started on my own tasks. I am also a part time student so I’m used to balancing a busy schedule. While I won't take care of animals at my own home, due to having my own pets, I would be happy to either house-sit, walk, or check in on yours. If you choose to, I'd love to take your dog out to the local parks and walk trails with them. When watching your pets I will do my best to keep them on the same daily schedule that they are used to. Regular picture updates are a promise too!
About: Hello! I’m Katie and I’m the woman petting the dog instead of socializing at the party. My fiancé Jonny and I just relocated back to Lamoille county and we’d love to watch your dog! Aside from having our own (a dachshund named Klaus, a chihuahua foster fail named Pig and two cats, Fats and Carl) for last nine years we have boarded dogs in our home. Before leaving Philly, Jonny worked for Happy Tails of Philly as a sitter & walker for 8 years. I was formerly the GM and Boarding Coordinator for a chain of dog daycares in Philadelphia, working for them for 4 years-so it’s safe to say we are well versed with canines! I was a foster parent with City of Elderly Love in Philly and hope to foster again now that I’ve relocated to Vermont. All of our dog experience can guarantee that not only is your dog going to be safe and comfortable with us, but will have as much fun possible! Whether that’s playing fetch in the yard, going for a walk or lounging on the couch, we are happy as long as the dogs around us are! Since becoming a foster parents to seniors dogs years ago, we have gained much knowledge and experience with special needs and administering different types of medications. I have a part time job but Jonny will be home full time for the pups with separation anxiety. If you board with us, our place will be your dog’s home away from home. 💕 I’m currently working part time but Jonny is working from home so you never have to worry about your pup being left unattended in a new place! Dogs staying with us will never be left outside unattended and will always be leashed. We do have crates for crate trained dogs. All dogs we watch must be dog and cat friendly. We are currently staying with my parents and they have chickens on the property but they are separated by a fence.
About: I’ve been a go to pet sitter for many coworkers, friends and more! I grew up taking care of my family’s border collie mix, and after college have taken care of quite a few different pups! I enjoy taking care of all different kinds of dogs from very active to very chill. I’m reliable and care deeply about every pets well-being. I'm currently a graduate student at UVM with a variable schedule but typically in class this semester Monday and Friday 8-5:30 and Tuesday 8-1. I’m happy to work nights and often available for weekends. I’m flexible and happy to chat to fit your needs! I am very attentive to each owner/pet’s individual needs and routines. I am happy to send pictures and keep you updated, and am always looking to make the pet feel comfortable + safe.

About: Hello! My name is Jenal, and I have 30 years of experience. I have grown up with breeds such as German Shepherds, Huskies, Retrievers, and Labs. Currently, I have a lovable Labradoodle and a dog that is an unknown mix, both of which are lovable and playful. Although I work during the day, I'd like to play with your dog throughout the day, at night, during the week, and on the weekends. I am looking to help with your dog while you are at work, on a date night, or out of town. I live in Milton but am willing to travel in Chittenden County and some of the Franklin County Area. I work full time during the week with the ability to flex my schedule. I am able to stop by on my way to work, pop in some time during the day, again after work and before bed time. During the weekends, my days are fairly open which allows for more flexibility. Safety and trust are very important. I would follow the expectations and maintain the routines of the owners. Therefore, this will look different in every household.
About: If you need help with your pets, but don't want to leave them in just anyone's care, let me introduce myself. Hello, my name is Naomi! I am a veterinary technician who is looking to add some critters to my schedule. I grew up with a variety of pets and next door to my uncle’s dairy farm. I began pet sitting as a teenager and went on to pursue a degree in veterinary technology starting my senior year of high school. During my years as a certified veterinary technician, I have worked with a multitude of animals; from dogs and cats to hawks and racoons. I like to have fun and goof around with your pet but also love to spend time relaxing and cuddling. I provide regular photo updates and communications. I will let you know that I have arrived shortly after I have taken care of your pet’s immediate needs such as going potty, and I always send a closing message after a pet sit. When pet sitting, I try my best to take care of your kiddos as you would. (***Please note that this account was originally made for Hannah (Gracie) and I to pet sit together. Currently, it is rare that Gracie will join me for pet sitting, but not impossible. If your dates coincide with dates that Gracie is able to assist me in pet sitting, you will have chance to meet her either at an initial meet and greet or virtually to ensure that you are comfortable with both of us. She is amazing! She just isn't as free as she used to be). I typically work 10-hour shifts, 3-4 days per week This makes me available to spend time with your pet in the mornings and in the evenings on those days. On days off, I would be available for more of the day. The amount of time spent with each pet depends on my work schedule. Dogs will get at least one walk per workday with other outside time as well. On off days I will have more time to go on long walks or multiple walks. Plenty of cuddle and playtime always! I truly love spending time with animals; they will get plenty of attention in my care. I can also give medications to dogs and cats, and other care as needed. We can discuss your pet's specific needs prior to pet sitting and hopefully it is something that I can accommodate. I always try to keep their routine pretty similar to normal. I will send you a link to a questionnaire to help ensure of this!
