About: Hello! I’m Katie and I’m the woman petting the dog instead of socializing at the party. My fiancé Jonny and I relocated back to Lamoille county a few years ago and we’d love to watch your dog! We currently have a senior chihuahua foster fail named Pig. Before leaving Philly, Jonny worked for Happy Tails of Philly as a sitter & walker for 8 years. I was formerly the GM and Boarding Coordinator for a chain of dog daycares in Philadelphia, working for them for 4 years-so it’s safe to say we are well versed with canines! I was a foster parent with City of Elderly Love in Philly and hope to foster again now that I’ve relocated to Vermont. All of our dog experience can guarantee that not only is your dog going to be safe and comfortable with us, but will have as much fun possible! Whether that’s playing fetch in the yard, going for a walk or lounging on the couch, we are happy as long as the dogs around us are! Since becoming a foster parents to seniors dogs years ago, we have gained much knowledge and experience with special needs and administering different types of medications. I have a part time job but Jonny will be home full time for the pups with separation anxiety. If you board with us, our place will be your dog’s home away from home. 💕 Dogs staying with us will never be left outside unattended and will always be leashed. About: I have been fortunate enough to have grown up with dogs and then continue to own dogs for my entire life. While growing up we owned big dogs, little dogs, smart dogs, goofy dogs and everything in between. When I had a farm and family I continued the tradition of having all types, sizes and temperaments of dogs. I have been solely responsible for training, care and loving all these pups. To say I have learned a lot the old fashioned way would be an understatement. Currently,,I own six Australian Shepherds. I started a very small but very responsible breeding program in 2020. I would have one litter a year by different moms. After a lot of research and talking to different rescues I learned how this particular breed is very misunderstood and end up abandoned or turned over to shelters. I then immediately came to the conclusion I did not want to add to this situation but wanted to be part of the solution. I then turned my sights to rescuing. This has become my passion and I am still helping out Australian Shepherds Furever rescue 3 years later. I have raised pups for them and took the mothers as well. I have personally interviewed and filtered through possible adopters for the pups and the mothers when they were ready. I trained all of our puppies and continue the training processes with the fosters. I have also done some competing with my Aussies and have gained achievement rewards with them. I have a love and passion for all animals and respect each animal individually. Each one is different and learn, trust and love differently. It's this understanding that separates me from other individuals. I currently have 6 Aussies, three cats and all kinds of farm animals. My focus is mostly with the cats and dogs. I do work a full time job but when I'm at home I'm rotating dogs so each one can get the love, attention, stimulation and focus that they deserve. I am always working on training, repetition, and a schedule so days and nights run smoothly in the home. Every dog and cat gets the time and love that they deserve and seek. I'm looking to fill weekends currently and if it's close by I could pull off a week here and there to spend time with other's pets. During these times my other half is home and can show them the attention they need. We won't tell my other half but they enjoy mom time better... Wink wink While in a clients home and taking care of the clients fur babies I will keep the same schedule and routine that those fur babies are already use to. Additionally, if they need to be medicated I will follow those guidelines as well as any outdoor or exercise guidelines. The last thing that I want to do is upset those fur babies anymore than they may already be because mom and dad are gone. My goal is for those fur babies to become part of my large family of fur babies and except me as one of their own. HopefullyI will be liked and utilized enough by your family that me being there is like part of the family visiting.

About: I’ve been taking care of all sorts of animals since I was young. Walking, training and feeding dogs… scooping litter boxes, feeding and playing with cats… almost anything you can imagine when it comes to pet care! I’ve handled young puppies all the way to senior dogs (and kittens to cats as well). I’ve learned how to potty train and administer medication to the pets who need it. I’m currently looking for some extra work to save up for a place of my own. At the moment, I work morning shifts (5-12). Im looking for afternoon or overnight shifts! This could include walking, feeding, or a play and potty break! Pets in my house are treated with the most love and care I can provide. Lots of playtime and sometimes naps when both needed. I’m confident in my ability to handle anything needed from my clients and to take care of your animals as if they were my own. While your pets are in my care, they will be the center of my attention, and will get lots of walks and playtime, and for senior dogs, lots of belly rubs.

About: I’ve spent a lot of time doing long term dogsitting as well as drop in feeding/walks. I have experience with puppies, seniors, and everything in between! I’ll be your dog’s new best friend! I work part time Sunday - Tuesday so I am usually available for sitting or drop in visits Wednesday - Friday, as my schedule allows. For overnight and day care for dogs I am available to travel to your home to sit for your pets. For walks I can travel to your home and walk them around your area, or I can pick your pup up and bring them on a hike or trail walk!

About: I’ve taken care of and had my own dogs and cats for over 20 years. My current dogs are 2 and 9 so I have a wide range of recent experience caring for both puppies and senior dogs. I’m a therapist in training currently so I’m very pro communication and I’m happy to set expectations with you early and keep lines of communication open throughout my time with your pet. My schedule is very flexible especially over the summer, I’m currently studying for my PhD and can pop over for a walk, a feeding, a bathroom break, or just a visit. Especially this summer without classes I can work with you and your schedule. I have two dogs and a cat myself. I think I love them probably more than anything else in this world. In our home we love and respect our pets making sure they feel comfortable and confident and safe. We live in a quiet neighborhood with a fenced in back yard, our dogs are walked 2x per day and have bones and lick mats several times per week. About: I’ve had cats growing up my whole life and currently have two adult boys at my house and my childhood cat at my moms. I have worked with boarding dogs in the past and would love to get back into it. I’m currently on summer break for school so I am available for weekdays, weekends, and overnights. I was raised to leave someone else house better than when you were invited in: I firmly believe in respect and as I would want someone to take care of not only my space but to treat my animals like they were their own. About: My family and I are pet lovers and have 2 of our own. We live in the outskirts of town in a quiet old farm house with a backyard so plenty of space for activities. Walking, hiking, and fetch are our favorites. I have done house/ dog sitting for many friends and people in the past and now that my daughter is older I would love to get back to it. During your pet's stay, we will go for many walks as well as hikes on any of the surrounding trails. We live very close to the Rail Trail, our pup loves going for walks and jogs there. We have a nice backyard for outdoor play, we, unfortunately, do not have a fenced-in yard. Weekends are completely free for me, that's when I get free time to do fun outdoor activities with my daughter and our pup. Your fur baby will have 100% of my attention on weekends, During the week I have a full-time M-F job fairly close to home. I hope you consider our family for your fur babies' stay! About: Hello! My name is Jenal, and I have 30 years of experience. I have grown up with breeds such as German Shepherds, Huskies, Retrievers, and Labs. Currently, I have a lovable Labradoodle and a dog that is an unknown mix, both of which are lovable and playful. Although I work during the day, I'd like to play with your dog throughout the day, at night, during the week, and on the weekends. I am looking to help with your dog while you are at work, on a date night, or out of town. I live in Milton but am willing to travel in Chittenden County and some of the Franklin County Area. I work full time during the week with the ability to flex my schedule. I am able to stop by on my way to work, pop in some time during the day, again after work and before bed time. During the weekends, my days are fairly open which allows for more flexibility. Safety and trust are very important. I would follow the expectations and maintain the routines of the owners. Therefore, this will look different in every household.

About: My experience taking care of dogs goes back to my childhood. When I was 8 we got a new puppy and from that moment on I have been obsessed. From taking care of newborn puppies and experiencing the birthing process to helping my senior dogs find comfort in their final days, I have seen it all. I learned a lot of what I know from firsthand experience but also from reading many books of dog behavior and from being taught training techniques from a close family friend and dog trainer. Nothing makes me happier than a dog and nothing makes my dog happier than being with other dogs! I hope to ease the stress that can come from managing life and wanting the best for your pup by providing a safe space for them to have fun! I am currently a student at University and my schedule takes me away from the home for 6 hours a day 5 days a week. I am always providing enrichment activities for my dog while I am away from the house and we go on a long walk when I return. I have a big yard that is partially wooded for the dogs to play around in, whether your dog is good off leash or not. I have a run for my dog that he stays on when outside in the yard but he usually sticks with me so he’s not always attached. In the home are multiple dog beds and comfy places for the pups to rest after a long day. There is always access to water, inside and out. My dog is very easy going so we are willing to be adaptable on a pet to pet basis.
